Summary of JaySignal Indicators and Templates

 

I put together a summary of the current indicators and chart templates used in the JaySignal System and updated the download links. Thanks to all the original posters for sharing the indicators.

Import zip files in NinjaTrader as scripts.

 

Copy xml template files to /Documents/NinjaTrader 7/templates/Chart

 

 

White Chart

 

Template: _JaySig_V9.xml

 

Indicators:

JaySignalTrendV9() - Primary system indicator. Displays entry signals, fibonacci dots, and trend line.

DevMrktProfile() - Displays the developing high and low value areas. It's set to start at midnight eastern time and does not display prior days historically.

SymmetryDots()- Symmetry dots used for trade exit targets.

 

The chart is typically used with a 3 symRenko bar type.

 

 

Silver Chart

 

Template: _SymmDelta.xml

 

Indicators:

SymmDelta() - Orderflow imbalance is displayed at the bottom of the chart. It only populates in real-time when connected to a live data feed and does not show historical values if you reload the chart.

 

The chart is typically used with a 5 symRenko bar type on CL and a 4 symRenko on GC.

 

 

Black Chart

 

5-Minute Chart

 

Indicators:

SMA(50) Magenta / SMA(20) White - Used to determine trend direction.

SymmValu() - Displays a long term volume based high value, low value, and point of control as red, green, blue SOLID lines.

SymmProfile() - Displays a short term high/low value area and poc as red, green, and blue DOTTED lines.

Can you indicate any significant differences compared to the previous version?

 

Major differences:

 

1. Momentum trade

When we miss the first entry we can enter on what he calls the ‘momentum trade’ instead of watching the trade goes through without us getting on. In the previous version it was a little white tip on top of the red bar (short) and a little white tip at the bottom of the green bars for long. In this version the arrows shows making it clearer where the entries are. Makes entry signal clearer

 

2. Background colouring

Coloring of background for long and short trades

 

3. Direction Ribbon

 

I include video debrief on July 5 (look at video after about 40 secs) see all the momemtum(elite) trades with white arrow. Notice the background has coloring of Red and green for short and long possibilities

I think the educated ProIndicators_CompleteToolset is from xxx.proindicators.com and not from academydaytrading.com that is why we are not seeing the Pro9 Direction and Pro9 Supertrend as in the utube videos

I already have Part 1 - the 'New Foundations Course'. The video and audio go quite badly out of sync as you progress through the 74 videos but if you run the audio on one media player and the video on another and follow along with the pdf's, then you can keep up with a bit of pausing and fiddling here and there.

When you did the compilation there were no errors? And after copying the dll and .cs files did you restart Ninja?

 

Yep. Compiled with no errors and restarted Ninja. Only VisualVFibClusters and VisualVErgodic shows up on Indicator list. if I open Edit Indicator I can see the others like VisualVConsoliTrader etc all there, I am puzzled why this happens.:(

I copied VisualVfibcluster-cp1.dll to the custom directory and all the inicator files in post #41 to indicator directory and compile.

 

When I opened the indicators list I can only see VisualV FibClusters and VisualV Ergodic indicators but not the rest of the VisualV indicators.

 

Anyone can point out to me why I am not able to see all the other indicators? Thanks

Hi guys, I couldn't get video #6 or video #8 in this series to play due to some codec errors, tried 3 different players including vlc.. anyone get either of those two videos to play properly??

 

I tried window Media player and realplayer for video #6 or video #8 - it works

Only indicator missing is swing indicator which is alreday built into ninjatrader. Setting of 5 is default
