I have installed it no problems on my Win 7, can someone please share on how exactly to get data from metatrader into Elwave? If someone can please share?
The DDE option (metatrader) works well with the latest Elwave 9.5 (shared on this great forum), I have it running in realtime updates with no issues.
I would like to accomplish the same with Ganntrader 3.1 that was shared previously here by great member Jasik.
I guess I need some kind of autoupdate software to keep on importing MetaTraders Asci output and traslate it into Metastock in realtime.
If such a software exists please point me in the right direction

Just now scanned it with updated Kaspersky and it found nothing. I'm still running it under VMware WinXP intallation with no problems, and with the 'Unity' option you can have the software right on your Win7 desktop. As far as printing the charts its best to just grab the screen with Snagit and print it like that.
Is there a software that would take ASCI input and spit it out in Metastock on per minute basis?
Thanks again for a great share!

Private crack would be nice but I would settle for 3.6 version with dde export working from MT to wave59....
Untill than, 2.13 with a reload macro is all i got

I'm gonna try this later on, I will report back with my experiences...

Hi all
I've been a big fan of DT for a while, thanks to this thread I was able to finally find a way to get 5 decimal places to show up on the charts... In the ASCII setup in the portfolio you can only select up to 4 decimal places...
The answer is to go to your ASCII export folder (after you setup your ASCII in the software), and edit the file txtinfo.inf, change the cf value to 5 for 5 decimal places. Now every chart you open from that folder will give you 5 decimal places...
As far as the green/red (for live ASCII updates) button disappearing... locate the Zoomin button on the interface (little magnifying glass)... and right above it is a slim line/button called Last Bar Info... click it and than you will see your ON/OFF (green/red) controls on the chart
There is a very good MT export indicator called Live Chart Export, this is a 2 in 1, since it does both realtime charts (with 5 different time frames) and translation to ADVGET9.1 EOD format. Also it keeps your original decimal points... unlike other exporters that will round it off to 4 decimal places!
You can find it here:

(need to register to get the file off the forum)
I'm still looking for an exporter that will translate time in the HHMM format instead of HHMMSS
Wave59 doesnt like HHMMSS, so I still have to use macros to save CSV file in MT and then refresh it in Wave59 (2.13v)
Anyone have a link to the Robert Miner's high probability trading strategies video ?
I have the book and wondering what else does he go into in the video?
Thanks All!

Yea I would really like that 9.2 thats cracked out there, 7.6 works good too for now.

That would be nice if it worked, guess its back to 2.13, which is newer than 2.9.... just check the dates in About box.

Many thanks for the very nice share!
I was able to get it to accept the mt ASCII export in realtime... just gotta press that little green button to have it auto update
