Hello all......after reading this post i did a bit of digging, appears this guy goes by a few names, one being fxdanny or dannyfx. Anyhow i found his blog and it appears he was a news trader for many years, then he suddenly liked the '5EMA system' (Aug 08), then started with these 'power levels'(may 09). Blog hasn't been updated since July 09 but from what i gather he just looks at the previous week and marks the S/R lines from that week and carry's them into the week ahead. Maybe you could try a zigzag indi and put a line at peaks etc...and see if the price rebound etc off these the following week

Hello all, I’ve had several request asking how I generate my ‘Kravens Repetitive Areas of Potential Profit’ or K.R.A.P.P for short :))and as I’m a fan of the indo share culture I though I’d create this thread to demonstrate….
 
These lines are pretty accurate, I believe accurate enough to purely trade from. They will work on every pair and require updating once per day. However they not the ‘holy G’ and not magical (as some think lol). They are also very easy to create, in-fact they’ll be too easy for many on here who will insist on adding thing.

Ok, choose your pair……go to a daily time frame……….draw lines at each day on the high and low (and importantly) the open and close….. most people only take note of peaks (highs) and troughs (lows) but open and closes (O/C) are VERY IMPORTANT. Most just take note of the day before, however O/C of daily’s several weeks ago can still have an impact.
 
Once you have drawn your lines it’s time to sort them out. If a level has only been touched once I call this minor, if it has been influential on a few occasion I call it major. I advise you to colour these lines different colours (see pic)

I'd be a bit careful of this, if you read their WTF selling site they claim "This formula can be found anywhere on the Internet" all they've done is added SR levels.
it also "does not work on MT4" and "there is a charge of $55/month for the platform".
 
The "WTFOREX VOLUME METER SUPPORT AND RESISTANCE TRADING SYSTEM. Buy FOR ONLY $6499.00" looks like it's actualy a training class with instructions on how to use the platform "Buyer must attend and schedule training class withing seven days from purchase".....

Hello all, seen a few requests for Daily trading systems so i thought i'd share mine......this is ideal for someone who works fulltime and wants a piece of the action.
 
The system is extremely simple....we enter market with the Daily trend, after pullbacks we place a pending order at bottom or top of pullback candle....if next day continues to pullback we move it to the B/T of that candle and so on.....it's a simple 'early' 1-2-3 pattern ('early' as often were in before the '3' - breakout of the very low)
 
For SL i like to place it to the nearest candle open, close, high, low as opposed to just the size of the candle. goes with my K.R.A.P.P. system. here for details: http://indo-investasi.com/showthread.php/10028-K.-R.-A.-P.-P?p=115378#post115378.
 
Remember to give a few pips on entry and below SL...say 5pips
 
TP is up to you....you can let it run (if you do this just keep moving SL to BE or lock in profits)...just close after next day....choose a tp of 100pips etc...In the pics i'ved done a R:R of 1:1

This should work on any pairs..if the market is flat...Indi is flat..then stay out or just TP 40pips..remember there's loads of pairs out there and you don't have to enter...monitor them and enter the ones which have been trending....good luck ;)

It's a simple system, works on price action reversals. i like it on the daily and 1hr TF as it's fairly stress free with the potential for good R:R. Basicaly i posted it for people who are not getting very far with there current systems, try it and give it all your attention for 2 weeks and see how you go. Enjoy

Month 3 (Mar 2012) Update: +247 pips
 
This week ends my 3rd month of the 2012 forward test of this, as well as end of first quarter of 2012.
 
March single month results: +247 pips
 
First quarter (Jan - Mar) results: +1121 pips
 
For details of per currency and per week results, see the weekly updated post #4.
 
General thoughts:
 
(1) March was the worse performing month so far in 2012, with the last 2 weeks having results of -166 pips and then break-even. Fortunately, the month still ended up in a net profit of +247 pips, mainly from strength of early part of March.
 
(2) For my own trading account, I actually ended the last week at over 90 pips profit (instead of breakeven): After GbpJpy took full profit, I was at the screen when I saw EurJpy made over 50 pips, then hit a long term trend line I had drawn previously for my other trading system, and bounced strongly back down. So I decided to close that trade out at a few pips above breakeven before the full loss. However, for consistency of this thread, I recorded a full loss for for EurJpy on this last week.
 
(3) After 3 full months of not a single trade, I will no longer use EurChf for my live trade. With Swiss bank authority interfering with this pair, it just no longer moves anymore in 2012. The closest to trigger was within 10 pips, once, in the entire 3 months period. Last week in March it hardly moved more than 10 or 15 pips either side of the week's open price. Just not worth the hassle of putting on trades for this.
 
(4) I have not decided what pair, if any, to replace EurChf in my basket. Any suggestion is welcomed.
 
(5) Given the slowness of this system. And the seeming lack of activities on this thread. I will probably only gives update here once every 2 to 3 months from now on. But I will try to update post #4 at least once every 2 to 3 weeks.
 
(6) Overall, I am still happy this this method, for something that requires only 10 minutes at start of week to place pending orders, and another 5 minutes max per week in managing this, I can't complain about the +1000 pips in 3 months.

There are more than 1 version of this system in the zip file, but I'm not sure it it's the version that your looking for. Hope this helps.

Discussions regarding my indicator began on page 26 in the thread below created by fxfxfx on price action.
I consider my indicator to be complimentary to the content of that thread, however I didn't want to hijack 3fx's thread and have his thread turned into a discussion about my indi, hence this new thread.

The reason I am stating this is an unofficial share is that my intention was to create a video and pdf on the use of Gaptronic as well as the accompanying Copy & Paste scripts. Due to my relocating I will not have time to do this for at least a month. People have been PM-ing to share, so I have decided to share it as is. Gaptronic works without error, however I have experienced some erratic behavior when using the Copy & Paste scripts. Sometimes they work perfectly, other times not at all.
 
Brief instructions are included in the archive for download at the link below. More info on page 26 of the thread above, once again I urge you to take a look. I am sorry I don't have time for more comprehensive instructions. I will endeavor to update with info once my relocation is done and dusted.

if you have now got the hang of the principles try applying to the 15min TF, keep sl above the breakout candle when trading against trend and above Kravens Reversal Candle with trend...getting good results.

I couldn't agree more with your comments. I seldom comment on here now (although i just opened a new thread), i muched preffered indo and it's community the way it was when i first found it, respectful and helpful. I noticed a lot more censorship and expulsion of quality forumers (suppose the mod's have their reasons) and not enough of abusive one's
