Have yez a close look at the statement. Every trade opens exactly on a full hour figure and then closes exactly on a complete hourly figure. Yez might be thinkin' so what?

 

Might need further investigation now maybe checkin' a real money statement as yez expect for $4850.

I didn't notice that at first. It must have some killer timing to always open and close perfectly on the hour. Would've been better to put it up on fxlive if its as good as stated.

I liked the steady backtest stats, but even at 98% mod qual . . . it's still not live.

Another question is if it's working that good in backtest why don't they fire it up live and put it up on fxbook?

I am very interested in this robot as they state that you have to optimize the EA monthly or even weekly at

different times. I like that type of adaptation to the market as it changes.

Every now and then there is an EA that just really impresses one.

This is that EA.

It trades frequently, but just like having a pretty girlfriend she has the tendency to go schizo from time to time, and you just can't let go of her. You wish she was more stable, but all of the other benefits are just too good!

This is an EA that flat out performs. As soon as you put it on the charts it starts trading.

It wins most of the time - but darn it, it loses too!

When it loses it normally is a cascade of losses.

The stop loss is set too high and too strong of a trend will kill it.

It's a Ranger and not a Heavy Trender. The plus side to this is that the market ranges an average of 60% of the time, but any strong trending currencies is not a good idea to place it on.

Is there any good programmers here that could fix its few flaws?

I think everyone would be happy with it if possible.

In response to this here's what the website says:

In 98% of cases it is right.

And in the 2% of cases when it is wrong, Antony & Ronald added a great reverse strategy inside which instantly opens a trade in the opposite direction and covers the small loss. This simple trick makes the robot really undefeatable on both backtest and live trading!

Now in my words. It does have a Martingale feature that like you said is "5 times" the size of the original trade, however in its defense it does place the trade in opposite direction allowing it to flow with the trend that it had originally predicted in reverse.

With the 4x market there are going to be times that it just cannot be predicted, not by the news or even any specialized forecasting services. Why?

Because sometimes large corporations and/or governments need to immediately make a swap in currencies. There is no news for that. It just happens and affects the currency involved.

Imagine if you could have a consistent, profitable robot developed for a private group of traders that makes over 30% a month trading in the forex market with live documented proof?

I think pretty much what everyone is sick of is all the outright blatant lying by the vendors.

So, we don't need to fight about it. Is Johnnyrich right? Yes and maybe No - he's pissed at another bag of **** vendor

lying through their teeth about with NO optimized settings and he has every right to be.

Is FXknight right? Yes and maybe No - he's pissed off too just like the rest of us as the ea does work. He wants to give

it a chance and fix the settings.

So, this leads to the real question . . .

Can this ea be tweaked to do what the vendor said it could do in one month as suggested by FXknight - 15,000+% or is it a complete loss as Johnnyrich stated ?

Any thoughts on this? Because honestly, I don't know. Do we try to fix it with the possibility of wasting our time or do we try to make it as good as the website claimed with the possibility of incredible returns ?

Truth be told, if there really was a REAL EA or Trading System that worked that good . . . one of two things would happen:

1.) You would be approached by someone representing one of the elite and they would offer you a staggering amount for it with the condition that you will never - ever use it again, sell it, or give it away, or teach anyone on how to use it.

2.) You would be killed for it.

If it really worked that good then why stop at just 1 lot? Go for 10 or the broker limit !

I recently received yet another email from Patrick Doucette touting his latest EuroBlaster 7.3

Every time I turn around he has another version of this ea.

Does this thing work or not?

If an ea is decent and performs the way it is supposed to then why all of the different versions?

It is a workhorse of an ea. I really liked it but it will have losing streaks sometimes. It will work great for awhile then later on sustain loss after loss. The ea does place a lot of trades which is something I like an ea to do, but not lose. If there was some way to get this ea to be more precise or fix the times that it trades it would be a very stable and awesome ea.

I can't stand getting an ea that is being heavily promoted as the next best thing and then when you get it - it never trades.

This ea is really good right out of the box, but you must be careful about when it trades. It is not one that you can turn your back on and be confident that it will do the right thing. The hedging feature is a very nice part of the ea that helps protect it somewhat, but even then be careful.

This Steinitz guy has NEVER produced anything of value and I wonder why he made his way on this board. Please be careful using his stuff - it is a loser from top to bottom with no exceptions in my book. He makes his profits not in the markets (as he should) - but selling crap to aspiring traders.

Yeah, Exactly - Like his NO LOSS ROBOT that guaranteed to never have a loss - (You can't lose if there is no money left in your account to lose) :-)

Some comments. Any EA trading AUDNZD, AUDCAD you have to be very wary of. Why? Because they are coded in the hopes that the pair will trade within a tighter range. Also so much lower liquidity on these pairs giving the broker a chance to rip you off with excessive spreads and slippage. These EAs are not designed to handle even small trends and when it encounters them they blow up. Second the EA has a parameter called "Factor" which MAY be the increasing lot factor using Martingdale/LaBouchere scheme.

Third, the drawdown of ~25% tells everyone pretty much to steer away from this EA altogether. Any EA with a draw in backtest of more than 7-8% is total crap and very risky. These EAs need to have better risk control functions updated in order to stand a chance to be used on real accounts.

FXknight - You are so correct. All I looked at was the curveline in the backtest as it was so sweet and the number of losses (0) that I never even bothered to look at the dd, and I always look at the dd%. Furthermore, I dislike the AUD/NZD because the spread is usually too high and backtests should be no way to show off an ea - live only.

I thought that it was an individual ea - I don't care for a manged account even if they have a great ea. I even took the time and filled out two of the lame cpa offers to try to download this thing and of course if would not allow me to download it. To everyone else don't bother wasting your time with filling out the offers to be able to download as it won't work.

Wow!! I am never in lack of amazement to see what people come up with in the world of EAs. Without commenting too much, the stats on his live demo tell the whole story. 79 losing trades in a row.. way too many trades open at a time which results in excessive risk.. question to ask: how many times can this guy duck and avoid the incoming bullet? He seems good so far right?

You've got to admit though it did make some change, but like you said way too many losses in a row. To me, it actually trades too much.

I have been demoing Euroblaster 7.11 default SL.TP on GBP/USD with maxtrade 5 ... so far 30win/0lose .. only been testing about 1 week though ... recommend pair is EUR/USD
