If you set it = false you can go with smaller lotsize in BT
e.g. risk 0.1 on 10K starts with 0.1 lots

The newsfilter will block the EA trading for a certain time while news have been or going to be released. News might drive/influence certain trends on some pairs, thus scalping might be risky after or towards such a news release.
 
E.g. Kain would have not get the USDCD trade yesterday, while high impact news was released on USD if set to filter e.g. 600/600 min before and after release.

Bad luck to the fpa test that catch a very bad period.
 
The difficulty of this strategy is to accept your account go down from the initial balance, day after day, until the day that it will catch a good move and recover from all the loss and eventual a lot more! But it seems is a working strategy for the long run!

As I have understood, the EA declares a day as "Not_Buy_Day" if an initial long position went the wrong way and the EA had to open a second or third position. In case the trades were closed that day or the day after (either profit or loss) the EA wouldn't open a new long position on that specific day and the day after because of "Not_Buy_Day" (same for "Not_Sell_Day")
Never seen that before and it sounds logical

edit: ok, just checked it...even it's the "old" link you're getting the "new" version

I just ran a BT 2010 e/u H1 and it's looking nice
I've used default setting and got about 60% profit / 25% DD on a 1K starting balance
The entry signals are based on:
- ZigZag indi
- Bulls/BearsPower
- Stochastic
 
At a first glance the EA is worth some more backtesting
Hope that not already 2009 will be a desaster

Here is the new EA. This one has manual SLTP options and Profit trailing options. I don't know if this one has any restriction of expiration date. I can't tell. If someone knows the coding can take a look and let us know, that will be good.
You will need dll. (same dll, but this package include dll) This EA displays same message on screen and also place an order, so you don't need FSA alert EA when using this trading EA.
