For those of you who have followed me through the years here at Indo know that I have looked at almost every method that has come along; some I have used daily such as Rebellion and SRS, two of my favorites. Lately with all the changes in the world financial markets forex trading is not the same as it was when those products were introduced. Most trading today depends on the long term trend which is eating a lot of accounts alive. Therefore, I have decided to play with my own scalping technique which so far is doing quite well. I am trading on six pairs only which affords me opportunities when a particular currency is facing a news release. Keep in mind I do not trade micro of mini accounts so scalping for me can be quite profitable. At $10 a pip on six pairs, a 5 pip move can be rather nice. Unfortunately I cannot become another Rita or Karl Dittoman and sell this idea if it does indeed prove profitable as there are no special indicators or "secrets" involved. In another couple of weeks I will have a pretty good idea as to overall profitability and will let my friends here know my rules if your are interested.

    EUR/USD: pennant or triangle forming

Eurodollar continues to consolidate in a pennant or triangle formation. It will probably eventually break higher, with a decisive move above the 1.3187 highs acting as confirmation, or possibly even 1.3195 for added safety. Then it should reach 1.3255 where the monthly and weekly pivots coincide. Obstacles below the pattern may impede downside, first at 1.3119 and then the consolidation zone between 1.3080 and 1.3110.

    EUR/USD: consolidation in up-trend

EUR/USD continues to look bullish, particularly after the break above the previous highs at 1.3136. A short term pull-back to trend-line support at 1.3115 is possible, however, although the up-trend will probably continue afterwards. Alternatively, this could be a pause before the pair continues higher, with the next target up being the monthly pivot at 1.3257.

Since last week I have been visualizing the future price move to be intra-week bullish (YTC PAT teach how to visualize the future price move)

On the last paragraph of the post:

    trading-price-action.blogspot.c*m/2012/06/1671-pips-on-june-1st-creative.html

I've been expecting both GBPUSD and EURUSD to have an intra-week bullish move.

"But seeing the M15 chart I was thinking of a short term future price visualization for the next week. Base on the large pile of Buy at this demand area, next Monday i would expect an intra-week bullish move that preceded by a stop hunt low to test the low, straight long trade, or a gap-up price then fill the gap to test the low. Here is where LST and FMM play their part but we already know what to expect. Lets see them prove themselves."

    They were indeed bullish:

EURUSD H1 this week (about 240 Pips weekly range):
    http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-V0Uei-8-l04/T9TIxOLgKII/AAAAAAAAAOU/tP6NSSFQH7c/s640/eu-w.gif

and GBPUSD H1 (about 270 Pips weekly range):
    http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-r-vKhcfcuwo/T9TJA211bKI/AAAAAAAAAOc/v8b8Lrutv1U/s640/gu-w.gif

And the bearish move on Thursday - Friday has also been pre-analyze. Look at the comment on the above mentioned post.

"Since the early week Both EURUSD and GBPUSD indeed move bullish as have been visualized (Monday up, Tuesday correction, Wednesday Up)

As of June 6th, end of US session EURUSD halted by Supply Area while GBPUSD has been halted before US session and made choppy topping formation.

On D1 EueUsd has seen a potential Bearish hidden divergence, means if tomorrow the price reverse down then it would be a bearish resume of a D1 bear.

Align with D1, both H4 and H1 has also showing a potential Bearish Regular divergence, means if the price reverse down then it would be a reversal for H4 and H1

While on M15, EurUsd made a last thrust and halted by a Supply area. If tomorrow M15 reverse down then it would validate the premises for H1, H4 and D1.

Price must turn Bearish around this point to validate the divergence state. Otherwise, if a sentiment occurred and pulled price up that also pulled the divergence away then the divergence setup would be invalidated since H1 H4 and D1 is just a potential divergence, not valid yet.

But seeing all aspect aligned I am strongly believe that my premises would be true.

Remember though, anything could happen. Lets see the market reveal it self."

    And:

"GbpUsd has also showing the same state but the sign on EurUsd were clearer. Tomorrow might be what Steve Mauro called a Mid - Week reversal"

As predicted, EURUSD made 180 Pips bearish range while GBPUSD made 200 Pips bearish range.

See that,,, If you know what to expect you would anticipate the move for the maximum profit. You would also be alert at what area/point should a critical decision to be taken to validate the premises.

But even both pairs bullish it doesn't mean there would be no short opportunity. At least there were 2 short opportunity along the way when the price made corrective on both EURUSD and GBPUSD.

On June 5th EURUSD made sharp corrective:
    http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-9VpZ1t3fJq8/T9TMqiisK-I/AAAAAAAAAOo/LQrybVUu7ns/s640/eu13.jpg

Well, do not mind about the pips gain (but if you curious zoom the top right hand side to the real time pips gain indicator and count your self). I don't want anyone called me boasting my Pips gain anymore. I was thinking that the Pips gain shown by the indicator on the top right chart was enough.

The point here is, during a bullish move there would be a corrective and the corrective move will always steep like a falling rock, but it must be seek carefully.

    The rest here:
    http://trading-price-action.blogspot.com/2012/06/trading-corrective-move-cristal-clear.html

I posted two of loosing trade on June 5th because I don't want to be accused of hiding my loosing trade. And I didn't count the pips as I don't want to be called boasting.

I am still wonder why some reader less attracted on How the trade took and manage. When I was seek for Omotade system (FXCM Micro Winner - 11,000% gain, doubling his initial account by 110 times in one month) I didn't even thinking about searching for his Trade Statement. I know where to find the entire 2011 MMM 4-hour video course (this is one of the newer seminars with good picture and sound), the set of MT4 indicators and templates, several of the tutorials supplemental to the main course (including the 2011 ones), the famous "Granny" video describing how best to count levels, and finally the PDF version of the course, which was offered right here on II some time ago.

I'd originally hoped to set up public torrents to insure the material could not be taken down once shared, but was never able to secure a good torrent feedbox service. If anyone has any ideas, you can reply here. If Indo Investasi doesn't want the hassle, forget I said anything and just delete this post.

It sounds like SM will be out of business in another six months, anyway (after he pockets enough of all the suckers' cash), and then everyone can share everything.

2011 MMM Course Webinars - Day 1 through Day 4
This is the complete 4-day course with excellent picture and sound. Each video is approximately 4 hours long, covering the entirety of each day’s respective webinars.

    MMM Granny Tutorial
This is the edited 40-minute tutorial from Granny discussing the various types of trades (SST, Kim trades, Brinks, etc); she also does a fine job of explaining level counts and how to do them.

    MMM PDF Course Notes
This is the first edition of the written form of the Market Makers course, with extensive notes and homework.

    MMM T1-T5
These five tutorial videos are among the best of the 2011 sessions. They cover: Patterns, Brinks Trade, Levels, Level Counts and trading the NY session.

    Steve Mauro MMM Templates
This is the archive containing all the requisite custom indicators and templates for charting MMM using MetaTrader 4. An automatic installer is included with instructions.

    Hi folks,

    Hi izogrey,

Yes - Izogrey - you are totally right ;)

I really shared ALL the stuff that is needed in this thread.
What I finally wanted to do is to write probably a summary - But I really have rare time at the moment (due to many reasons) and soon I also want to go to vaccation and then I also do not know how good the internet-connection will be ;-)

But all I can say to you all is:
practice, practice, practice - and the willingness to learn AND doing.

Maybe here a very very very small summary:

    Preparation:
    Draw SwingHigh/SwingLow,
Draw S/R-Lines and update them on a daily basis or so...
    Attach the alerter
    Wait for a candlestick-pattern.
Check if the candlestick-pattern occurs at a re-trace
Check if daily and 4-hourly is aligned
Check if candlestick-pattern occurs at a S/R-Line and ONLY trade in the direction of the trend.
    Always go for a Risk/Reward of 1:2

    Trade-Management:
If setup occurs in a ranging market:

If candlestick-pattern is a pin-bar and has the right direction (the wick shows to the opposite direction than the trend) split your order in 2:
1st order: Enter at 50% of the the PIN-BAR and the 2nd order at the HIGH or LOW of the PIN-BAR -> SL: At the HIGH or LOW of the PIN-BAR, Target 2x your risk

If candlestick-pattern is an inside-bar make an order with the entry: HIGH or LOW of the outside-bar (but only in the direction of the trend). SL: 50% of the outside-bar, TP: 2x your risk (But only if the TP would NOT exceed the boundaries of the sideways channel).

If candlestick-pattern is a fake-breakout make an order with the entry: HIGH or LOW of the false breakout-bar (but only if the false breakout was to the opposite of the trend). TP: 2x your risk (But only if the TP would NOT exceed the boundaries of the sideways channel).

If the candlestick-pattern occurs at a change of trend and went outside the boundaries of a sideways market and then retraces back (If there was sideways market).
Entry for the setup remains the same (except for PIN-Candle: Entry: HIGH or LOW of the PIN-BAR) and also the SL for the setup remains the same, but leave the TP open and trail the SL:

    Example:

After a setup occurs at a change of trend and you opened your position and you see on the way UP or DOWN a PIN-BAR, move the SL to the HIGH or LOW of the PIN-BAR and if you see on your way an INSIDE-BAR, move the SL to the HIGH or LOW of the OUTSIDE-BAR and if you see on the way a FAKE-BREAKOUT in the right direction, move the SL to the HIGH or LOW of the FAKE-BREAKOUT-BAR. TP will be reached when you get stopped out ;)

There are also other components to consider - but the system itself is COMPLETELY outlayed now guys and should be enough to be profitable.

Maybe when I have a little bit more time again, I can post some "tips" - But these tips do not change the system mentioned here (although it is not a system - it is more a collection of tools as some setups maybe need a little bit more discretionary).

But the MOST IMPORTANT thing is to EXCERCISE them.

    Cheers to all

    fxfxfx

    What drives the market ?

The market is driven by: PSYCHOLOGY of the masses !
Uff ? Now maybe you expected something more spectacular ;-) ?

Yes - folks! Your price-chart is nothing more and nothing less than the reflection of the psychology of the masses !

When the majority of the masses thinks that price goes up (positive news events, positive rumours, special price-formations..) price WILL go up.
When the majority of the masses thinks that price goes down (negative news events, negative rumours, special price-formations..) price WILL go down.

    This is a FACT !

And I mean with the majority not the amount of people - I mean the amount of people multiplied with their capital (We small "hobby"-traders only have small impact to price).

    This also means:
When thousands of BIG BUY-orders are sitting at a specific price-level, price WILL go UP !
When thousands of BIG SELL-orders are sitting at a specific price-level, price WILL go DOWN !

But this also means: There must be a something in "common" what makes these people think that price will go up or down.
Do you really think that this could be an indicator or an EA ?
Did you know that there exists THOUSANDS of indicators with literally and endless amount of parameters.
    CCI (1), CCI(99), MA(5), MA(99988), MACD(444), MACD(39488),.... ?

Do you get the idea behind my question ?
They could never have one common thing that they (all these indicators in summary) say: BUY now ! This is impossible as even ONE indicator could have an endless amount of parameters !

Why do you think that your brokers offers you so many indicators ;-)

What is the feed for every indicator ?
    You got it: PRICE !
Why do you trade only the reflection of price (this is what an indicator is) ?

Do not get me wrong - I will not say that indicators or EAs does not work ... But i do not know anybody PERSONALLY who makes CONSISTENT money over a LONG TIME-PERIOD !
Most (if not all) EAs or indicators are curve-fitted. This means that they work for a certain period of time but when market-condition changes -> They start to fail (Is there an A-HA effect and/or did you also know this situation probably?) !

I also must say that so many people are seeking for the holy-grail: Wake up, people: This holy grail does not exist, because if it exists we ALL would have a problem ! Our financial system will collapse ! There MUST be a certain amount of risk ;-)
Only if you accept this and trade in a logical way with common-sense you will succeed !
You also must accept that you MUST take trading serious ! Treat it like a business (because in fact it is a business).
Also accept that this trading-method probably will NOT work for you (I am not an ego and say that this strategy is the best and that this will work for you - as I can NOT guarantee this).
Even when 2 people are doing the EXACT same business it will happen that 1 will succeed and 1 will fail !

This strategy is in fact not "my" strategy - This concept exists for a VERY long time and is nothing new to most traders.

You probably would say: But when I do not need any indicator - Why are there so many ?
I will clarify this for you:
Long time ago the japanese people traded rice successfully only with price-action. At a certain point of time the PCs became so cheap that everybody was able to buy one -> And then: Why only trade with this BOOORING price-action-stuff when we have computers which can do soo much more than a human brain. These days were the start of the indicators. Why did the people use it ? Because it is "unsexy" to not use them !

Listen: Rice was traded at times where Expert-Advisor and Indicators were unknown words ;-) successfully for AGES - and still people trade it successfully !

Although Trendlines, Fibonacci and S/R - lines are basically also indicators ;-) I personally do not count them as indicators....
