  1. thanks a lot William. informative post. hope this grows into a huge price action discussion similar to the other price action/naked trading threads on other forums. i would love to explain support and resistance but ive gotta run now.... could any experts out there explain support and resistance in 'dummy' terms.... i believe that this is the basic foundation that everyone needs whether their trading is naked or fully clad :)
  2. Here is a collection of "the best (LOL)" indicators.

They all repaint on the actual bar, but the color is fixed on closed bars.

Better use them on higher TFs, at least M15, better M30, H1 or H4.

They all achieve to bring you into the market before the big move happens.

    - FXSmooth
    - Karl Dittmann Extra signal and forexsecretsignalsalert
    - SaneFX (alias TCCI)
    - XForecaster
    - HMA

im sorry fxeasy, but i cant seem to understand whats written on that russian site. ive tried a few online translation sites, and i understand that the file offered for download is a bmp file. does this file actually contain the indicators mentioned? could you please upload to an alternative site like mediafire.

    thx in advance.

  3. BTW, I experimented a bit with the SaneFX-indicator and guess what ?

I found a free MA somewhere which is changing colors and I found settings which did what ?

Yes, the free MA "disappeared" completely from the chart when I had the right settings.

    It "disappeared" under the SaneFX-indicator.

= the SaneFX is nothing else than that MA with these settings .....

could you pls give us the settings for this free ma? thx

  4. Yes FxSmooth indicator is only indicator what you need, it's optimized to 1H but for me working very good on 5M charts as well as on 1H charts.

on this forum I shared tons of EA's Indicators and systems but how I see, nobody don't wan't to buy anything, everybody waiting for someone to share something. This indicator is so good and everybody who paid $10 to Moneybookers account [email protected] or Liberty Reserve acc.no. U5920925 will get it, you only must send me the proof of paying and email on [email protected]. With Indicator coms lifelong update.

thanks but no thanks. did you even read the rules of this forum. this could get you banned.

  5. I saw this originally on Ebay where the author was advertising the system. While I like the Stealthsystem as is very little is needed to make it better. I find it very difficult to pay for something that is the same price as the system it needs to work and this guy is not even the author of the original system. It seems to me they are double dipping and making money from his system along with affiliate profits from stealth. I will happily look at it if someone shares but I can't see how much improvement you will get over stealth for a couple of hundred bucks that you can't get for free with some trend confirmation indicators for free.

i totally agree with you. this system costs as much as stealth.

does anyone know if this system has any additional indicators etc, or is the author just ripping us off with a pdf manual. the writeup on the system's website isnt clear.

  6. Despite there being no refund warranty shown or implied on the fxsmooth promotion website, the author responded to my enquiry that he completely backs his product and will provide a refund within 30 days (some sort of Plimus warranty equating to Clickbank's 60 days perhaps?) if it is not found to perform the way it is claimed. So is trust still an issue?

:) i have nothing against or for this system personally. its just that im a little paranoid when it comes to money. its not just the $97 you loose if you buy this indicator.... i'm worried about equity loss. of course, i would demo and then use stricter money management on live before committing to this indicator. however, this site does a great job in providing traders like us the opportunity to try out commercial systems before buying them.

i have infact invested money on a few good systems after trying them out before.

  7. Don't fall for this indicator! what he shows are periods of trendiness that is when the market is trending. example 4hr eurjpy chart traded by his buddy jason. what he does not show is the period just before that Feb 25th March 5. when it was in a congestion phase making a bottom. same thing with the hourly charts. Like all others he shows the profitable trades and not the losses.

does anyone know how this indicator behaves in range bound markets? does it give false signals or does it filter these out by itself. if it doesnt filter out, we may probably use some kind of trend identifying indicator to filter these conditions.

  8. Agreed. It seems reasonable, unlike others signal indicators that show you reversals right on the top or bottom bar and are later found out to be repaint... this one isn't going to get you long at the very bottom or short at the very top, but as long as you catch a good part of the trend and avoid whipsaws, it could work well.

    Who will share?

good point. any indicator/system that can even get us 75-80% of the trend is great. top and bottom hunting is just gonna leave us frustrated and poorer.

  9. Re: Why am I learning Forex?

I am now getting close to a year since I got interested in Forex. With all the demo accounts that I have killed, forums I have joined, real money I have lost and expert traders I have talked to. I come away with this conclusion.

Trading Forex is a skill that has to be learned to a level of proficiency. You have to be humble and think of yourself as a kid in primary school just trying to understand the world around you. It can become confusing. Especially when you read or see a video with a guru telling you that everybody uses a technical tool the wrong way or most people don’t have the guts to make it. You think of yourself as being one of those people because you almost always get it wrong.

Of all the expert traders I have spoken to. All of them lost trades and some amount of money before they were able to become successful. In some cases it took them months and months of losing money before they actually felt comfortable about their trades. So I am not alone and just need to stay in there and develop the skills.

Have you ever used a screw driver to open a can of paint or used a knife to punch holes in a can of juice? Well they were not made to be used that way but they did the job. So this is the way I see it. Technical tools are used the way you understand them. Hence used the wrong way according to some people, but get the job done. People cannot teach you to trade. They can only provide help with your learning. You have to develop the art yourself. It takes time and effort and a willingness to understand you’re learning a complex art.

Am I going to continue learning to trade? Yes! I would have to die trying for me to not to become a sufficient trader. Like the guys at the gym say "If you don't feel the pain then you're not building muscle". So for all of you who are new to Forex like I am. Don't give up! The pain is all part of building muscle.

    Nisky

    absolutely well said nisky.

a trader I know (a good one at that) makes 2-4% a month on his trades and he doesnt trade anything less than the daily/weekly charts...

how does this compare with other traders who claim to double their equity in 21 days or the likes.

this is a long and painful learning experience and as malcolm gladwell says - you become an expert in anything once you've spent 10000 hours on it.

im still trying to get there.... 1 hour at a time, 1 pip at a time.

    happy trading and learning.
