Within my reasearches about expert advisors and all the public accessible ones the idea of creating one by myself came to my mind.

 

For creating the desired EA, I have to following ideas:

 

 

6 Steps of processing:

 

1.) Generating an optimal signal

 

2.) Search in a defined base of indicators for the indicators that work best in a defined backtest time.

 

3.) Apply Indicators in combination to chart and check for false signals.

 

4.) Erase false signals with correllating indicators.

 

 

5.) Determine ideal exit points.

 

6.) Repeat.

 

 

Pre-assumptions:

 

1.) Indicators with a certain hitrate, e.g. 70-80% will be sticked with

2.) Everything will be done by a predefined heuristic.

3.) Neural networks will eventually be used to determine the ideal entry/exit points.

 

 

 

I have some questions at first:

 

 

1.) Is anyone interested in coding this ?

 

2.) Is the selected approach worth sticking with?

 

3.) Do neural networks make any sense in this case?

 

 

 

 

 

I would be happy for any constructive comment.

Target would be to create an EA that updates itself and defines its settings by itself.

 

 

Obviously I would be willing to share this to the forum, if the project gets that far.

Yups, checked it out, is infected.

Rather be an affiliate at first. Try forex for fun and if it works, why not be both?

Check indicators, trade readymade systems, try to understand whats behind them

I dont really think so, to be honest. At least not in the next years :D

You need good indicators for that, hard because of spread imho.

I would not start with an amount below 1000$, way too hard to earn anything profitable. You can work for 25$ more easy.

I would be really careful with this decision, it is a hard business to succeed in.

Improve your technique with indicators and check trading streams etc. ..

No, I dont think so.

Getting neurosolutions would be great, to be honest.. i will try to recreate this or an even better working system via neurosolutions and update you when I am finished. And finding other people to work together is great as well. It would be a pleasure to hear from and work with you !

Edit: What time frame did you use to check the file. I am unable to import intraday data linke 1hr!

 

I used H1 Timeframe, sorry that I did not tell this in the orignial post.

 

Are you sure that there is no way to either use tradingsolutions with another program to make it trade this solution or anyhow "cut" a dll out of the program ? Since I could not find Neurosolutions in a working version in this forum and others. Furthermore it crashed when I got the demo version to work..so I went to tradingsolutions :D

Hi guys, I developed a system via Tradingsolutions 4.0, it took several weeks of calculation time and selection of indicators. The big problem now is, that it seems to be untradable via life trading, since I dont have any data live feed or trader68 working. It just does not seem to work out the way I imagined.

 

 

 

PROS:

 

-Working on almost any Symbol, I have tried 3 so far, more will follow, i will try to attach them to this post.

 

CONS:

 

-No idea how to export the data to be tradable live.

-No idea how to make an expert advisor out of it (Which was my first idea.)

After this, you can open the file I attached via:

 

FILE- IMPORT TRADING SOLUTION

 

 

You will need .csv data files to recreate my tests;

 

to test, right click on your imported .csv chart in the Portfolio View.

 

select "APPLY A TRADING SOLUTION" and follow the wizard.

 

 

 

 

 

MY BASIC QUESTIONS:

 

Is there a possibility to create a DLL file from the attached file? If so, is it possible to determine the rules of the trading system AND apply them into an expert advisor?

 

Any feedback would be highly appreciated, it took me a lot of work to get this far.

Yeah, that's what I was afraid of...it's the usual claims ^^ But it seemed a little more serious. And it would be great backtesting these ea's for making up one's own opinion on these so if anyone has them please share ^^

Sadly I only have one link which does not say anything at all because the mt4 stats were erased -.-

But the author claims that centauri-a and -b were professional expert advisors which are used from banks and consulting companies. I've seen the test which is supposed to be a forward test some time ago and it looked really promising because there was a low stop loss and therefore of course some negative trades but only 2% and they were closed early. So what remains is 98% of positive trades which seem to be trailed in a good and long way. The result was 20% winnings in the first week..which seems to be great but at the same time makes me feel like it was edited with photoshop or whatever.

 

I've also asked the seller whether he could send me the testing results but up to now there's no answer.

as you can see I am quite new to this forum and after some reading I think your forum is really a great one with nice members.So now there's the time for my first topic ^^

 

I've read a lot about Centauri-A and Centauri-B, has anyone of you ever heard about these expert advisors which are claimed to be professional. I've seen some backtests and they were GREAT ! Sadly the link is dead now otherwise I'd have given it to you. It would be cool if someone could share that ea's.

 

Another request is for FXPARAZITE Scalper which gave great backtesting results as well. I have the file on my computer and eventually it only has to be educated ? I'll try to attach it so the experienced know if it has to be educated or not ;) Thanks for your answers !!
