  1. This is a "manual" EA, in that it takes you and your expertise to pick a good time to enter, and set up the hedge. The EA is set to a 1pip profit, and you can run what you want. I am running at 10p for EU or GU on the 1hr, looking for 2 wins a day, at market opens. We want movement, don't really care what direction. An extended flat time will hurt us with this one.

I am getting 2 wins consistently per day, entering only in the first 4 hours of the NY market (london would work as well), and I use the HYPERDivergence indicator on 15 min and 60 min, or any other standard entry criteria would work, like breakouts, trendline breaks, etc etc.. But you NEED a system for entry, it will maximize the opportunity to be on the winning side early in the series. If my entry says "Short" I buy Long to start the hedge. (The first long trade is .01, and the short trade comes next at .02). In this way, the MartyHedge is "biased" towards the direction I am anticipating. But no problem if it goes the other way, MartyHedge just takes another trade, .04, in that direction. The idea then is to get MOVEMENT to get your 10 pips.

This really is a great system, IF you have a good entry, and movement, and keep your lots low.

  2. Very well, actually... I like the binaries, as it is a win or not, fixed profit, fixed loss, and fixed time. No trades to manage, no stoplosses, no targets... The systems I am likinig are taking trades at 20 min or less to expiry, and you just need to finish a few pips in your direction to get the full win. (of course, a few pips against you is a full loss as well!!).

Today, with the FX8 signals, 3 signals, 3 wins, all from 9:30-10:30 am EST and done. The Banker11 lite system trades to sporadically for me... maybe 3 or 4 trades a week at the most. FX8 will trade 2-3 a day, some days none, like yesterday. Plus, I like the limited time frame, and the take it and walk away aspect.

So I am liking it quite a bit, actually...

  3. Here is another idea. This system costs $488, and I haven't popped for it yet, but I think I would like to. It is sold by binaryoptionsxposed.com , Now, this is a FUNKY website, and only works on the IE browser, as the page links don't work on my Opera, maybe bad on other browsers as well. They also sell signals, for $199 per month per session... (US, Asian, London etc.)... The signals use the FX8 system, and as I understand it, it is a price-action only (no indicators) trend identification system. I think they watch about 6 pairs. You wait for the signal, then enter if you are close enough to the expiry time. You get access to videos where they show you the system. Plus, I think you get a month's free signals, so you can see how your signals look according to theirs.

Or... if you open an account with $1000, you get free signals for two sessions. I am starting this week with US and Asian. They trade only the first 90 min of each session, US at 6:30am PST, and Asian at 5:30pm PST. No signals today, but three winners on Friday.

They are hitting 80-90% win rates!! Here is a link to the August signal results. format kind of bad, as I just copied/pasted into a word doc...

But these guys are hooked up with the broker Option-world.com, so that's where you get the free signals. Or, if you open with $2500, I think the give you the FX8 system for free. Don't have that much, or I would have done it and shared!! (Maybe five of us could split the $488, then share??)

At any rate, I'll keep a running commentary on how the signals are going. Looks pretty good, but I have always detested relying on someone's signals, preferring to learn the system myself...

  4. no Worries... binarys are very interesting to me... been trading FX for 6 years, and commodaties before that, with moderate success. Not enough to live by, but still have $$ to trade, so I guess that is "success" in a sense! Binearies have my interest now, though.. Have a couple of things that look good, and will keep you all posted.. . also, hoping to see more interest and contributions in the binary realm... we'll see, eh??
  5. Thanks, Tek... I am on a 30 day trial with Esignals LiveChart, which is a web charting service, realtime, at $30 per month. Works pretty good. I am starting to go back from May on this year, not sure how far back their data goes. May was a loser month for this system, losing $.19 for every dollar traded. August/Sept has been great so far though. Hope to get through the past 6 months on this over the weekend, and will post here.

I am doing it by hour, so maybe there is one hour in particular that has a high reversal percentage at 10 till....

  6. Cool, Tek... thanks... I have been hitting about that with Banker, but instead of using trendlines on the prices, I put them on a RSI18. There's actually a RSI-TL indicator floating around that does a good job of puting the trendlines on there for you.

I am using 24option.c0m, they have three different option options... (ha!)... nice interface, and out of Great Britain (london). They called me to chat a bit after I opened an accout, seem like good guys, so a bit of personal service. Ended up talking about the riots, etc.. .

Maybe we can get some interest here, and some good systems!!

  7. I am trading the binaries right now, and really liking it... I bought the Banker11 Light, and shared it here, but it is "only" $197. Too much for what I got, I think. I am trading a bit of a variation of it, during early NY or Asian hours, would work for early london session as well... anytime you have a move into a trend, or a reversal, from 10 to 20 min before an expiry..

3K is a lot for a system.. maybe we'll find somebody who has it!

  8. Nope... to many $$ for me! $700 is pretty rich... . so thought I would just test the waters with this one... pretty expensive for a trendline break system... but I guess he has put the time in to test it...

So far, it seems to work good for the opening S&P/Dow options as well, expiring around 10am EST, as well as 10am EST GU/EU options. (I add a slow stock confirmation/filter... )

So, I will be looking to trade this on the GU/EU/S&P/DOW at 10am EST, and the S&P/Dow for the lunchtime 12:30-1pm EST expirations.

  9. Might be nice to see a dedicated Binary Options topic, if this takes off....

Here is a pdf I made for this $197 system. http://indexbinaryoptionsystems.com/banker11-light/

It trades binary options that expire around 1pm EST, end of the lunch hour, for the S&P 500 (or DOW works OK too. they are both about the same).

They have a bunch of very simple 1 page pdfs, and a few videos that are password access protected. I put it all in one pdf... really simple... but seems pretty effective. The idea is one trade per day. Their Banker11 Pro (for $697 !!) is for full time trading.

They suggest trading 5% of your account for money management.

  10. Will share, of course... and hope this is OK to ask....

I have an EA here that I had made from a commercial indicator, and now want to add a filter using another commercial indicator. Both are fairly "bogus" by themselves, but interestingly, are pretty good together? One guy tried to add the filter, but it doesn't work, so you will see some of that code in there...

    Here is the package: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/7329309/New%20RevFX.rar

There are four files in here:

Revolutionary_FX.dll : goes in library folder, of course...

Revolutionary_FX.ex4: the trading indicator... you can see in on the "total scammy" website...

RevFX v2a.mq4: the EA I had made using it...

Reversal Point Scanner.mq4: the new filter indicator... draws red and blue arrows for possible turning points.

The filter would be to only take long trades when the last arrow drawn is blue, only short if red. There may be several blue arrows before a red show up, etc....

The arrows don't settle down until the bar closes. I have been manually watching on the 5min EU, and it looks pretty good...

Also, and optional, if we could get a function that would shut down the EA when the account has made a given dollar amount. It looks pretty consistent that one could get up by 2 wins pretty much every day at some point, then stop. Perhaps we re-set the EA each trading day, allowing the EA to log the account balance at that point, then enable the EA, letting the EA shut itself down once it is X dollars up?? Just a thought... although the EA will set 1:1 ratios that are different for every trade, depending on signal bar range...

Anyway, that can wait, but if we could get the filter done, that would be great.... thanks!

  11. and another question, from another person that has no idea what all the various variations are....

Is it simple enough to know which variation of the main trade, loss recovery etc etc one should use BEFORE you enter the trade? I've seen too many systems where the author has retrospectively invented "variations" that work better, but you don't know until AFTER the trade that you "should" have used method C instead of method A etc etc...

Oh, and maybe because I am not a purchaser, I sent of a couple of quick questions, a couple of days ago... no response...

  12. HI All.... have a look at this idea... I am using a trendline EA for entry and to manage the trade, putting it on manually, per the short "manual" enclosed.... EA in included as well.... pretty cool EA for trendline or horizontal line trading... break or bounce.... using break for this one...

I've been having good success, but just starting to play with this... using the Pullback Arrows as a setup indicator only, then laying on a trendline, and if it looks good, apply the EA to it. Not every trendline is tradable, you have to have the right "look"....
