  1. Just because Mauro doesn't trade live doesn't mean he isn't a trader. I listened to Martin Cole. He sounds like a quack. Some of his trades are for such few pips, too. While I understand we all have trades that go against us or are scratches, he speaks in a way that I don't get.

And it isn't the language barrier, either. I've met traders from Denmark and other foreign countries. We all speak different languages, but we all speak Forex. I don't get what language Martin speaks at times. If you can't explain your method easily, what kind of tradeable method is it?

I received a few personal emails from Martin and was left confused as ever about his method and how he trades. Steve isn't confusing at all. He tells you what the Market Makers do. His method is clear to me. While the setups might not be as clean as he shows, they do occur. Mauro is about letting the cherry trades come to him. He doesn't trade just to trade to chase anything. Seems like Martin trades just to trade. Listen to some of Martin's videos and tell me what the heck he says. I did. Didn't know what he was saying.

  2. Chris from 2nd skies is a pretty decent guy. I've shared emails with him and he's solid...least that's how he appears. The reason why you won't find his advanced price action course (or anything from 2nd skies) is that he streams his videos, just like the course I purchased from 123learntotrade. They aren't direct downloads. So you need a program like Orbit to capture them as you watch online. Orbit downloads videos fairly quick. Example: If the video is 10 minutes long, Orbit will download it in about 3 minutes. Much depends upon your internet connection, though. I'd really like to get my hands on his course; however, someone will need to pay for it and download it using Orbit (or something similar).
  3. Okay, so here it is. My review of this course:

I purchased the course. The reason why no one has it is because these are all streaming videos, so it's hard to capture. I know of a video download program called Orbit, that will download these as they stream. PLEASE take my word on this. This course if HORRIBLE!

I shouldn't say horrible because pure newbies will benefit from this. All Brendon does is go on and on and on about nothing but ****!!! He'll have an image of a kid on a tricycle and talk about how we start out not knowing what to do, and it takes time to get good at this. I listened to this for hours!!!

When he finally got into some chart examples, they were infantile examples...stuff we already know. He talks about ascending and descending triangles, about trendline breaks and areas of support and resistance. It's of no value whatsoever!

So please, no one ask me to share this, as I didn't download the videos with Orbit as it was a waste of time. Please, do not waste your time with wanting to know more about this course. Like you, I really thought this would be an amazing course. You know what's amazing? Or really good? Peter Bain's trade currency like big dogs. That was helpful. Dr. Barry Burns top dog trading's foundation courses were excellent. This? For $200, it was a huge waste of money. And that's what I'd like to talk about next.

After several emails, Brendan finally gave me a credit. He's not a bad guy. He simply wanted to help me. He wanted to know my trading strategy before he credited my account; however, it was very difficult to get my money back. Hear me out: this course is great for someone with zero experience about trading. Actually, it's an excellent course if you've never picked up a book on trading before, as it's an overview course. It has very little to do with Forex. Aside from that, if you know what ascending and descending flags/pennants are, you are way too advanced for this course.

Why did I buy it? I wanted to see if he had some insight into price action with forex and if he used tick volume in forex. I know there is no measure of volume, but I did hear tick volume could be used. His testimonials were all stellar, too. The thing of it is? There wasn't one bad review. They were all 5 star. That tells me he is cherry picking his testimonials.

You, like me, can all move on now, and forget about purchasing this. There is no value to anyone with any experience whatsoever. It's boring as heck. BORING.

  4. Conglo posted to just use the previous indicators from before, until waterskiguy has a chance to update version 3.0. However, I looked at the previous Gann indicator, and it has the same 9/10/2010 creation date and exact name. I'm just starting to backtest this for myself, and am confused. Should I wait for version 3.0 to be updated? I don't mind using the previous indicator, just not sure which one to use in this new version. Thanks waterskiguy and conglo for help explaining. Just need a bit more to understand. Cheers.
  5. You know what amazes me? Actually, it doesn't. I bet you only tried the uploadstation links. Did you bother to try the fileserve links? They all work. I don't mean to pick on you, but this very behavior happens quite a bit in this forum. Someone will only try the first set of links. Or someone won't go to prior posting to see where the links are.

This is indicative as to why so few make money trading. It takes extra effort to make it successfully, to make money. It's not about quitting upon the first "loss." In this case, the first link that doesn't work. It's like a stop loss getting hit. So it was mistimed. Or maybe the market simply moved against you because that's an inherent characteristic of markets. So? Jump in at the next signal. And if that fails, jump in again. It's all part of trading. Having sound money/trade management will keep your equity. Try the next set of links. They work. (At least at the time I'm writing this.)

    Peace, and happy trading!

  6. Hi everyone. I really enjoy this forum, and the support of the members. I cannot send a PM to doddy, so I hope my request is heard. I would really appreciate a reup of Andrew Cardwells COMPLETE RSI course. I see he want $4,500 for the complete course! Is that possible to do? I thank the member(s) who could make this miracle happen.
  7. Could someone please reupload the 3 pdfs joeytrader uploaded to 4shared, please. I can't find them online anywhere. It includes:

    Trading Secrets Reports Bundle

    Special Reports Bundle:

    1. Trading Tricks the Pros Use and You Can Too

    2. How to Take Out Other People's Stops for Fun and Profit

    3. How to Avoid Choppy Markets

    Thanks!

  8. Just so I understand, the jercapivot indicator coded by COUNDE are the same pivot calculations that the same for the 600 pips a day strategy?

    Thanks Counde!

Is this the only indicator we need? Is there a manual on how to trade this? Or is it simply apply indicator, then watch for price action around the pivots and either go short or long? Are other indicators being used? I see a Daily Pivot Fib indicator in this thread, too. Are these lines working? Other indicators needed? Please explain. Thanks.

  9. I watched a few of his videos. I agree with everyone. Keifer, you are dead on. He has his own language for things like that 5StarTrading system or supertradingsystem. These guys speak in tongues. I haven't a clue where they get their language from. What they say is just a bunch of junk. In other words, they give the impression they are really saying something, but nothing really is said. I didn't notice any proprietary anything or a special way of capturing moves. He turns his candles into dojis and enters with a limit order. In one video, he said he made 243 pips or so. Well, if you're on the right side of the trade, you will make money. So he timed it or guessed right. That's his edge? Overpriced stuff, and a proprietary trading platform you have to subscribe to for $197.00 per month? Not sure if that is USD or EUR. In either case, it doesn't look or sound worth it to me.
  10. Can someone explain something please. The link to the version 3. I have the files. Thank you so much to uploader; however, I went through the entire thread. There was some issue with the ID of the person who purchased this system being in the chart. Some other coding issues. Have one of you brilliant coders taken care of this? So in other words, we will be okay to use this system? Thanks!
  11. Can anyone answer this for me, please? Is the download the latest version of the indicator?

I hear some members saying that this indicator isn't drawing lines correctly or adding too many lines. I'd like to send vivaan a PM, but I don't have enough points.

Kind of stinks when you'd like to ask someone something, but points do not allow you to do so. Anyway, I just want to be sure. I have no problem buying it and sharing. Can someone check with vivaan to be sure? Thanks!

  12. So what makes you say, "if you want to become successful, then this is the system to get?"

What kind of success are we talking here? How many pips per month? What kind of draw down is there?

I appreciate your reply; however, there wasn't much to go on. I get the rant about others bit*&^ching about things they don't understand and blaming someone else for their problems. I don't care about that. I care about results. But no results were mentioned. This business we are in is all about results; sure, learning from our mistakes is great. But at the end of the day, we must measure ourselves against some standard. Like any business person, that comes down to profit and loss. So it's a question of how much net profit in pips are you achieving. And how much drawn down is there using this method? How many signals are you getting? How long does it take to set up a trade?

I have no problem putting in the time to learn. I just want it to pay off, and would like to know what the payoff is.

    Cheers!
