Hi everyone,
 
As promised, I hacked the code of Pyramid 5.2 some more to fix the double grid trade bug. While I was at it, I cleaned up the code and removed some unnecessary bits.
Also I removed all the Russian text, translated it to English, and got rid a lot of code that just put junk on the screen that was unnecessary.
Also I tweaked the preset files, and fixed a few issues with them (namely the EURUSD did not have alfa_lot being 2, which meant that it didn't work on micro accounts!)
Also I imported a EURGBP set file from Pyramid 3.2, and tweaked it for use in this EA.
 
Now everything is all really nice... BUT I have not tested this EA as much as the original 5.2XE... so PLEASE if you use this EA, to do some testing with it before going live.
I am still testing this on a live account. It seems to be doing just fine, however, as it is essentially a trimmed down version of the original with an important bug fixed, and tested to work.
 
Don't forget to read the manual txt file in the archive! It will explain EVERYTHING.

here's an update to the method I use. please note I'm not using this chart setup anymore and have moved on to using renko. the concepts still apply though.

Will update it when I can. I've moved on from the original version of this method. I use renko and market profile now so the chart setup is different. The concepts of trading using multiple time frames, cycles, entering on pull backs still works so is worth sharing.

I have been interested in Renko for a long time but never found a system that satisfied me.
On YouTube there are a few videos for 2, 3, 4 brick sizes as well as indicators.
Now indicators are always well behind the price action as they are based upon PA and watching the videos I found that the PA methods are usually a two box change of direction. It is all a bit 'lucky dip' because we do not know what will happen next. We hope that the 2 box will become 3 boxes and make us some pips.
 
One of the rules is to trade the UK and US opens; Reason being that is when there is a lot of action.
 
I have looked at the last few days and seen that by taking a chance 'blindly', I could have made a few wins.
 
So, I will post this week's charts for you to see. Feel free to comment.
 
BTW, I am in Bulgaria where the demo that I am using has 10am as the London open -8am GMT.
