  1. C,mon guys let's get real with this Mark Deaton huckster. Every month he comes out with the latest, greatest trading system. His bollinger band system is OK and you can make money with it as you can with many systems on this forum. I bought into one of his deals a couple of years ago when he was pushing a subscription website(Tradingdomination) on which he made many promises but once he got everybody's money he basically abandoned the website and did not fulfill any of his promises. Since then every month I get a solicitation for the next greatest trading system.

A trading system is only about 10% of the equation anyway. Without discipline, risk management and money management, all the trading systems in the world won't make you money. One of the greatest quotes I've ever heard is: "control risk and the profits will take care of themselves".

It pains me to see so many people on this forum looking for the next great trading system, because THERE ISN'T ONE. It's better to be studying trader psychology--because that's why people fail, not the trading system.

It's in our makeup to take quick profits and let losers get too big. When we can learn to control risk, the profits will come. Sounds easy, but it's not--that's why most traders lose money.

  2. What a crock that webinar was--inducing people with the promise of giving away an "unbelievable indicator" for listening to their bull malarky and then not giving it away. Shows the integrity of these EA hypesters. If their megabot could do half of what they claimed, they wouldn't have to hold these dog and pony shows trying to con people out of $67 or $97. Goldman Sachs would gladly pay them millions of dollars if they worked.
  3. Yeah, a lot of similarities between Forex Freedom Formula and this. James Lambert and Dean Gallagher sound like the same person. These guys appear out of nowhere and present them selves as forex gurus with custom indicators. Then when you see their indicators, you realize they're just ripoffs of what's available through the forums.
  4. I agree secret. I listened to him for an hour and couldn't take it any longer. If I had a dollar for each time he said "it's either going to go up, or down" I could now retire. What kind of "code" is that. He also said he didn't need a chart to trade, but was using a chart--didn't make since to me.
  5. Tiger Max system is way over-rated. Way too complicated with something like ten different indicators. Looking at a Tiger Max chart you can hardly see the price action with all those indicators. The only good thing about the course is how to scale into a trade with a profit which is something you don't hear alot about. Basically it's a MA crossover system with a bunch of unneeded extra indicators. And yes, most of the indicators are available for free, but they have renamed them and say they are proprietary--what a bunch of bull! Charging $2,000 for this is a fraud. All you need is the first three videos to learn the system, the rest is fluff.
  6. It's probably a non lagging moving average(which does repaint), but instead of being placed on the price chart they have repackaged it and put it at the bottom of the chart. Not too much new but everyone is looking for the holy grail and it just doesn't exist. Non lagging MA is available for free--just google NonLagMA_v7.1. It turns green for buy and red for sell just like Fxsmooth indicator. Also similar to SaneFX indicator.
