Hi Phreddy, I'd not heard of the 5 bar reversal technique until you mentioned it here. I've found two 5 bar reversal indicators which put arrows on the chart:

The V1 indicator just seems to be less lagging than the V0. Do you use indicators like these? If so, which one do you think is best to use?

I don't use any. What we want to know is when to trade. That is when the highest point is obvious - bar three, bar four opens lower and if it has changed colour then we can make an aggressive trade at some point. A safer trade is when bar five opens lower and when it passes bar four's low.

Most indicators seem to pop up then, fractals do too, so they are all right as a reminder. Especially if you are trading multiple pairs.

Harris also uses Stochastics to confirm. Stoch has to be coming up for a sell or down for a buy.

PA is the king though.

What is a 'plon' please Kardel? I see that you are from OMAH so I assume that it is US slang.

Also, "how much did they tag for 4 of them" I assume that this means "how much did they 'charge'for 4 of them".

I am an old man and cannot keep up with all these slang expressions.

BTW Travis is selling it all again but this time piecemeal. Had an e-mail offering a free system but the link just led to him grinding on about Mr X showing him the way to trade again. He is offering the Poisiden at $497 but to you only $197.

All these systems are just simple MA cross overs and buy on the retrace. Sometimes with another indicator for support. What a swindle!!

I don't think that any system will fit your request.

The only time that it 'appears' easy is in the bumph put out by the marketers.

Personally I like the five bar reversal pattern on a five minute chart. This system is used/sold by Craig Harris, Profit Launcher and others. It is a simple and straightforward system. Easy to learn but requires attention and screen time.

That code is not valid according to the site. I wanted to see whether is was one of his monthly give aways or the annual 'donational' set of indicators.

Interesting that we have the usual arguments here about him. Mostly a little wide of the mark IMO.

I don't believe that he asks for donations but he only sends out the donational indicators out to the donars.

I don't believe that he steals code the makes it into 'donational' indicators. Usually he appends 'modified by...' to other people's indies and gives them away.

As for giving take profits advice, 'whatever the traffic will allow' is good enough for me. I am a big boy and can make up my own mind. Same with stop loss.

He is banned from most sites, I believe because he includes the 'I accept donations...' message in the code that he posts.

I have no axe to grind here. Just adding to the pool of knowledge.

Super system DDD

When I first read the .pdf I thought that it was just the indicator for the breakout times and they are available freely.

But no! It is an EA to do the trading for us!! Lots of them about too! But this appears to have a whole lot of variables added.

As well as the EA there are indicators to allow us to trade it manually. Includes a candle pattern identifier too.

So, DDD excellent job, kudos given and if I find another post of yours I will give you another...I suppose that is allowed?? Don't want to upset anyone!!

I found the Profitable Trend Forex System videos and the Forex Trend 2.0 pdf. Seems strange. I suppose that you are not allowed to post where they came from?

And to those complaining about it I say be a bit more magnanamous!! Send some kudos for the effort. An apology woud be nice!

Well I got that wrong, nothing like Buy Zone. What I thought were buy and sell indicators were targets. I should have looked more closely. My apologies!

This system is based on the opening price and has 'arrows' to indicate buy or sell. My copy has 'dots' not like the real arrows as shown above.

The .pdf is in Indonesian Bahasa (is that correct?) and I have translated it with Google. Unfortunatley Google does not have a good enough understanding of that language so leaves some words untranslated. We can still get the meaning.

Anyone wanting the translation is welcome to PM me with an e-mail address and I will be pleased to send a copy. It is only a couple of pages, text only.

My system has some funny numbers related to prices but this may be because I have installed it on Saturday while the market is asleep. We will see if it works on Monday, bright and early.

He writes code and includes a comment saying that he accepts 'donations'
