Try to use selective hours of trading and do not run 24/5. Much safer and still steady income.

Note: I had to choose 0.05 and 0.1 lot for this broker due to broker's mininum lot size limitation. ** Tadawul broker won't allow lot size less than 0.05

 

 

4xTraderz described well for optimizing this system. He trade iWin with strength of the trend during UK session. This post, I trade low ranging hours, NY afternoon to beginning of Asian session. So, you can pick and choose. But, you have to experiment with different settings to fit your trading style.

it depends on your profit mode ===> 0 by pips;1 by profit;2 by totalpips,3 by totalprofit

if you choose "total pips" and u set it to -1000, that means it will close trades @ 1000 pips lost

if you choose "total profit" and you set it to -100, that means it will close trades @ $100 lost

yup.. performed well today but only so-so last week...

lets wait and see for the rest of the week...

Do remember to have "15min" timeframe data ready when you backteset,

if you don't have, ATR pips will read 0.0 when you backtest.

Hey isssac, you're welcome! :) Now about those pending trades, was the main pair of trades still open at that time?? The purpose of the Avoid parameters was to prevent any NEW trades from opening during those time periods. In any case, my latest version is much better (and less buggy) than the previous mod i uploaded...

yup... trades that were opened earlier on remained opened during the 2 avoidance sessions.

realised that during the avoid London, NY session (ie: 14:45 - 20:30 gmt+3), pending trades are still available (trades that in the waiting list)...

I am not sure if it's suppose to work this way?

If not, can you modified so that it close all pending trades while during the 2 sessions?

I find it pretty cool that during the avoid sessions, I saw it closing trades which were set according to our profit target!

On my backtest, the ea stops completely after 2 pending sell and 2 pending buy, not allowing the test to go further. Any idea why?

No error messages, nothing, just stops...

 

 

Is that ea not backtestable?

I experience the same thing. This EA stop working after u hit your Minprofit (ie: $15). So I guess you need to increase the Minprofit. :) Hope this little info helps!
