    Hi, I just saw then a countertrend break and found a bullish divergence at momentum indicator.

    Have a nive weekend to you.

     

    I think you had a gr8 day today as Gold hit 1156.89 !! since u were already long @ 1141 level??

     

    If u won't mind, may I know why you were long so early?

    I'm not a programmer sorry, I just found this simple but useful indicator somewhere in the net and translated the shared mq4 from the original ex4 file. But I hope maybe someone could help for you in this great forum.

  7. Average price indicator

    No, no its misunderstanding. This indicator calculates the average prices all of your opened positions not the candle bars. I think very usable for example if you follow the trend, you open a small positions everytime when a countertrend breaks and you see allways the averages of you positions and you may set your stop loss to your average price easily.

    Hi Fluchtplan,

     

    I just succesfully connected the MT4 and MTPredictor. I found a solution: using Currency_Loader V2.5 in MT4 with the setting of ExportType "1" and voila :). See the picture:

    Yesterday I have try to make it work with Mt4 data - I really don`t know why - but I will get always the false price of an currency.

     

    I have try different mt4 data indicators or expert - but none of them works.

     

    I have used:

     

    MetToDet

    CSV producer

    Adata1

    Data_Loader

    HISTORYDATA-MTP

    MT4Data

    Currency_Loader V2.3

    Currency_Loader V2.5

     

    None of the above Indis or expert works correctly

     

    I always get an false price - for example

     

    EURUSD 1,35061 - I have 135061,0000

    EURJPY 124,413 - I have 124413,0000

     

    No matter what kind of Indi I used - always got the same problem. The format I have used in die ACII Data Definition Wizard is correct - I have seen the vidio how to set up the data for MT4 more than 5 times :D

     

    Damm I lost more than 6 hours yesterday. I have also try to modify the positionsizing file. ;)

     

    Please help me to make it work with the mt4 data.

  18. Donchian stoploss expert - great exit strategy

    The EA set or modify the stoploss level of the opened position to the upper or lower bands of donchian indicator. IMHO this exit strategy much better than the trailing stop because you will leave the market only if the trend changing. If you buy the stoploss will be the lower band of the donchian if you sell of course the upper band.

    Install:

    ...'MT4 folder'../experts/DonchianStoploss.mq4

    ...'MT4 folder'../experts/indicators/DonchianBands.ex4

    Don't forget to restart the Metatrader :)

     

    Usage: Move the DonchianStoploss from experts advisors and DonchianBands from costume indicators to the chart. In the opened windows you should give the period of candles. In M15 timeframe I prefer the default number '20', in M5 timeframe the best number is '14' but this is your choice. At the 'diff' field at expert you should give the difference between the band and the stoploss. The default is 4 pip (1x-2x spread of the symbol).

    The stoploss will changing in every change of the candle (not at all price changing).

     

    Try on demo first!
