kinda agree, besides it's a demo account and results are nothing more than ordinary. the developer not even dare to show their live account. i'll pass this

here is the deal,

fact, the developer knows the system best.

does not want to show a live account, fine.

but why not show a forward demo.

the secrecy clearly shows they dont even believe in their own system,

its as simple as that.

they seem to shroud themselves in secrecy and thats sure not confidence inspiring.

the only forward account i could find so far is nothing to brag home about,

- ATCBrokers: commission:$8, spread:0.8

- AlpariUS: commission:$6.15, spread:0.4-0.6

 

We created a small test and recommend to use the AlpariUS instead of ATCBrokers.

yes it goes with the trend, candle break out,

it uses fractals just like iris. but it seems to run on a lower timeframe then iris. hold time can be up to 40 minutes, but most are very short duration.

i am sure intrigued...............

it reminds me of iris but this one must be running on m15. same strategy as iris it seems to me using fractals.

yeah strategy 4 seems to be so so anyway.

main thing is the different settings like tp and sl strategy 1.

Hi traders im using 1.1.0 live on Axit trader and Go markets. Trades are minimal so profits are also the same. I have set up a demo account with Thinkforex to check if the trades do match up. Has anyone used 1.1.6 as yet and what are your findings. Thanks

No holy grail....lowest spread and latency rules for this EA, nothing else. Otherwise, holy sh.t ;-)

this thing is weird, i have the bought version. it works best on bad latency 125ms on one account. then i tried it on 2 live accounts same broker latency 1ms, works kinda on one account but only losses on the other. on pepper it wont work at all, only losses.

so its a total hit or miss thats the bottom line...................

i noticed this a long time ago, it seems like all feeds are different, even on the same broker but different live accounts. why that is i have no clue, but thats what its been for me.

i started it today with delta of 500 and currently no trades..i just dropped it down to delta 400. It wont get as many trades as delta 300. What will happen is you will get bigger DD with delta 300 and mine will open trades later into the DD cycle. So its a better option for me.. But like i said before when i ran it with lot size 1.0 and delta 300 i saw it go 2.5K down then snap back 1K up..So having bigger delta should reduce the DD also as iam getting in later..

london open it typically goes one way, then usd there is often a reversal. so question is when is it best to launch it ???

No, no. it does close. The problem is, it close losers, but it does not close winners. So, it must be some type of internal algo to calculate how the trade is closing.

yes you are right, i guess its up to us to try to close out at ideally speaking max profit. as longs its profitable thats all what counts in my book, so we shall see soon over longer term. sure hope it wasnt just lucky so far..........

Thanks for that. I will use your version and forward test from here. Not bad of gain, but it could have been a lot more if EA does close when it hits xx (pips or $$) and start over. What I've seen @ FPA, it was net gain at 65% and down 5%, then, went up 55% and down 25%, etc.. but it seem to close extream losers, but keeping the winners, thus, it has positive DD. But, To me, trading is all about the 'exit'. So, I don't understand this logic. Why it doesn't close. what it is waiting for? 10000% gain ? :-O

they run without sl and tp values, thats why its not closing...........

I'm testing it (xtreme) on my demo ... started with 5000 account and 1 lot fixed on 3th May 2011 ... now it is still in profit ... about 6000 USD ... it sometimes uses 1 lot for trading another time 0.1 lot (some kind MM) ... but 10% in few days is quite impressive ... we'll see ... if it is profitable a month or so then I'm going live ... now we might see heavvy move while EUR is falling and Greeks want to leave EURO zone ... If it survives this month, than it would be the GRAIL and broker buster:D

did you use default setttings ??? 25 pip sl and 25 pip take profit ???

i just started my demo today and no trades yet.

the regular click version places no tp and sl values and might produce different results.

so far i only run the extreme like you with default values.

it is either x-meter or that russian basket trading EA. forget its name.

i once ran the russian basket bot, you are right it reminded me of that one as well. this one seems to do a bit better, or it is on a good streak. with the russian one the equity was just all over, so i never trusted it.
