I used to use the 'natural language' method with MS Access because my brain couldn't do 'proper' programming.

It worked very well.

I use Equity Sentry and have never had a problem with it.

I have received many emails about this over the last few days.

No suprise there, I know. I treat them as I normally do.... straight in the recycle bin.

However, I was a little surprised at receiving the same affiliate blurb from messrs Tom Strignano and Hector Deville.

My response to those two, supposedly respected Forex traders, is 'if you tell me you are going to abandon all your OWN current 'money spinning' methods in favor of Forex Profit Predictor then I will definitely buy it'.

I await their reply!

I would like to believe there's some arrangement between SolomonFX and forextoolshed....... but who knows these days!?

Having said that, SolomonFX's manual is very well done and makes using the trade manager very simple.

I can only presume his earlier one failed completely and most people bailed out like I did.

I was also on his first signals incarnation and I, too, got a refund.

For me, when a signal service is based around a specific personality, i.e. the main guy(s) who run it, it produces its own problems for the subscriber.

It's a bit like a good trading system, in as much as it may suit and return a profit for one guy but not necessarily work for the other guy.

Thanks for posting this, navigator. I've always liked both Profit Monster and Day Monster. They seem to work well, although they do use up the computer's resources quite a bit.

I notice that the EA has some personal details in the settings. I'm hoping they're not yours as it may cause problems with you and the seller.

Active Trades is regulated by the Financial Services Authority.

You should contact them with your concerns.

They recently slapped a massive fine on Alpari UK.... not for underhand dealings, but because they failed to follow the FSA's registration requirements.

They will act if your accusations are genuine and can the provide proof.... that's what they are there for!!!

Can any kind soul help me locate an indicator that will measure the distance in pips between 2 MAs and give an audible alert when that distance is reached?

The closest I've found is one called MA Bar by CJTrading Tools but it's a visual indicator and it doesn't give an audio alert.

Having said that, much kudos to master9357. It's worth a backtest over the weekend....!

They usually take about 3 days because of all the legal checks they make.

The FSA had them up against the wall regarding money-laundering some time back.

Since then (and a big fine) they have taken this particular area of their business more seriously, hence the delay!

This week I've seen a very good thread of somebody (unknown) with in the header at least containing "creme-de-la-creme".

He invited people to post their EA with live account proof. He was thanked by many people.

 

He posted his best 3 EA's. His number one has doubled his $1500 account in 2 weeks. His number 2 was Megadroid, I remember.

I cannot find that thread any more. Is it removed? Does somebody still know his nr. 1 EA?

I just checked my 'History' for yesterday and located the link...... however it returns 'Invalid Forum specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator'.

So I guess it has been removed from the forum for some reason.

I was a member a few months back and it is well worth it, they have some excellent EAs in there.

However, because they are updated and improved upon etc, you need to remain a subscriber to get the latest updates.

Appears as one of the easiest News Trading EAs as it takes the news automatic. I am running it in standatd settings for 12 hours now, trading low to high impact news. Will need to analyse the results to see where it can be trimmed better.

He's been refining it since 2006 so I doubt very much if there is much more that hasn't already been considered.

It's aready a very efficient EA, in my opinion.

never had a loss week for the last 3 months. Profit 20-30+ % net profit. Little PC time too.Win rate 80+%.

 

You need some trading experience to get these high levels, but even with less win% and sound MM you will come out in profit. I trade 1% of account for each trade.
