You can always open an acount with Oanda, this would give you much better scope with your lots size, the only downside is that there leverage is quiet low, however if you want to trade safely this should not be a problem. Technically speaking as as already been speaking you should only ever risk 1-2 of you balance and to work this out you need to know how much you are willing to loose per trade.
Hope this helps

Re: Creating a Short term / scalping system
Thanks guys for helping me out with some thoughts and ideas about developing my scalping system I shall certainly check them out.
I have definitely come to the conclusion that this is going to be a million times harder than I ever thought it would be. I need to make sure that I don't start jumping from one set of indicators to another.
I just need to find a set of indicators demo trade them insuring my risk to reward is greater that 1. But that is great in thoery and exceptionally hard in practice.
I have realized when I try and trade longer time frames I become very impatient, sitting waiting for a trade to come, I only seem to be comfortable when I am trading shorter time frames, but I suppose they are the hardest.
Thanks anyway from your time and effort in helping me out it is much appreciated.
Cheers

eHi All
I am trying to create a short term / scalping trading system either 1 or 5 min (I will get ever so board if it is any longer than that) and I have identified that I will probably need a leading indicator such as an Oscillator (OBOS or RSI), a momentum indicator I have not identified a momentum indicator yet if anyone can recommend one I would be most appreciative. A fractal S&R indicator (I am still trying to find one of these as well) not doing to well up to now. And last but not least price action and price patterns.
Hopefully if I can put all this together I might start getting somewhere.
I have spent a lot of time reading price action on the EURUSD, so this will be the market I will trade and the studying I have done on price action should help greatly in the long run.
If anyone can recommend any indicator they find useful or useful pointers/help , I would really appreciate it, sorry for rambling on a bit.
Thanks for looking

Hi All
I am looking for a good fractal based support and resistance indicator which will work well on a short time frame 1 or 5 min.
I am trying to create a scalping based manual system and I feel this would form a good base for it.
If anybody can recommend anything suitable I would most appreciate it, or any advice on creating a good scalping system as I am very new to this.
Many Thanks for looking at my post

Re: PronetFX ECN Anyone?
Hi
A friend on mine opened an account with this broker and acknowledged that they were a terrible broker the customer service is appalling and they are very slow when processing withdrawals, he said they were nothing more that a two bit bucket shot.
They are most definitely not a Uk company and are not actually to dissimilar to the way Fibo Group were set up, whom I had an account with. Fibo Group also had a UK address but were not FSA regestered. As a result of several complaints to the FSA Fibo Group had to close all UK citizens trading accounts and refund all the losses for these customers, I received $18,000 refund in losses from them. It was a wonderful day as you can imagine. :D
Hope this helps

Re: Are You Femme Traders?
Hi All
This is my first post and were better to put than in a woman traders post. I gave up my full time job about 1 year ago to trade full time. I am quite successful on long term trades, but have not mastered short term trading yet (1min or 5min ) that is my goal trading short term manually, hopefully soon I will be able to achieve this.
Happy trading
