  4. HI Just to let you all know that today we have a session by Sam at Fxstreet. You can register for this session at the below link: http://www.fxstreet.com/webinars/sessions/session.aspx?id=6c9f131f-e19b-4786-a58b-f69e9e0af3a2 cheers
  5. My intention with this post was to generate a debate as to how good the system is, so that we can get different perspective to his style of trading. But, no one came forth and defended his way of trading. So, let myself clarify that his system does work and works best. Only thing is that we have to find the correct levels (many of the levels I traded on where the retracements to a previous level. Also, we have to keep an eye at the higher level. Some of the levels were great, but it was mostly retracements or were against the bigger picture levels). Cheers
  6. Sam's method is all about reversal
  7. I was using it for a while, but it is not a system we can trade on (may be I didn't know how it works correctly). I moved back to the traditional Support Resistance (but uses Sam's method to see if there is any reversal). Cheers
  8. HI All If anyone wants to download the last webinar "How To Identify Fresh Supply and Demand Levels in The Forex Market" held on 11th April, here is the link: http://goo.gl/GlHpb Cheers

  19. HI all, I was reading another thread (http://indo-investasi.com/showthread.php/17690-Sam-Seiden-the-difference-between-Supply-and-Demand-levels-and-Pivot-Lows-Highs) and the below comment by shicuco sums up some of the important aspects of supply/demand. So, I thought to share it here: Quote I know it can be confusing sometimes. I've watched all his webinars and I also think there are some discrepancies here and there. Sam is usually a bit reluctant to be too specific about some of the key aspects of his strategy. With regards to your question, the answer is yes: there needs to be some basing for a level to be considered a good level. Don't get too hung up with the number of candles, though. Just try to grasp the logic behind it: if price could only trade for a few candles at a certain level, it means there were many orders sitting there to be filled and price finally rocketed when the remaining supply/demand was absorbed. So the difference between a supply/demand zone and a pivot high/low is just the small basing. Watch Planning out longer term Forex trades 29_09_11. A guy who is in the XLT course makes a comment about this. Pivots are usually pullbacks into a level, so don't get too excited about them. Whenever you see a pivot (a spike), look to the left to find out if there's some supply/demand sitting right above/below. If so, the spike was probably a bounce from that level, so the level is not fresh anymore and the spike is not really a supply/demand level. If the spike is not a pullback into a level, drill down to a lower timeframe to see if there is some supply/demand at that spike: it probably will. Also watch Spot Forex vs. Forex Futures 25_11_11. There's some brief explanation about pivots around 29:50. Remember to always look left to be right. Hope this clarifies your doubts. Unquote Cheers

  24. When we had Bush at the helm, he was the worst President of all time. Now, Obama. It doesnt matter if it is Obama or Bush, or Republicans or Democrats, whoever comes next will become worst president, but better than his successor. Because America (for that matter whole world) is not controlled by Americans or the President. I feel, the world is becoming more and more controlled by the mighty and wealthy individuals/corporations, and government around the world is gonna dance to their tunes, giving little or no considerations to the common man's cause. Because, they want to make it such a way that people will have no option to elect their president (as they are given free hand ONLY to choose either a devil or deep sea). My humble opinion.
