this is so weird, i've tried two different brokers and i still can't backtest the modified EA with the ATR indicator. I think it may be because it is using two different time frames? The EA is on H1 and the indicator is on M15.

muruku, which broker did you use to backtest on?

i already have v224.1.

i need v225.1 to decompile mt4 v226 EA's. in the future, noone will be able to decompile EA's anymore if you dont use v225.1

I have searched the whole interweb and cannot find a full educated copy of this version (4.0.225.1) of the decompiler. It is needed for decompiling EA's developed in the new mt4 226. Does anyone here have it and can share it? i can trade my programming services for it if the user needs it. i would really appreciate it!

oops, the tp is actually based on ATR in this version. with max TP of 25...

it also uses internal tp and sl ... the set tp and sl that you see in the order is for emergency only

hey guys, i became very interested in this trading strategy after visually backtesting it. i decided to create an EA so that i could actually see if it was profitable on a longer time frame. the results weren't so great so i gave up on the project but maybe you guys can tinker with it and add some filters to improve it. i have moved on to other projects so i wont be developing this one anymore.

the entry is based on the 50 ema and 3 ema as stated. the exit uses tp of 30 and move stop loss to break even. it continues with selling half every 30 pips and moving stop loss up. have fun!

Here is an example of making 100% in around a week trading a martingale ea i've been playing with. 100% is not too much as i've been hearing alot of people talk about 1000% a month and results like that, but so far i've never seen anyone post the actual forward result of such thing happening, but people do talk. So maybe if anyone else can share their forward test we can compare and merge strategies and ea's.

which martingale EA are you using Cyrillic?

Can you elaborate on how hirider blows up an account??? Post some backtests i will post mine, then i will elaborate. but i need more backtests.

 

I ran like 6 on different brokers and only on one broker it actually showed bad programming all the rest went very well. Period 1999 - 2010.

I've only ran hirider/fusion on alpari uk back test and hirider has 10 straight stop losses hit on feb 5th, 2010 and a second time in 2009. i'm not at home right now so i cant check the exact dates.

it didnt blow up the account, just huge losses

Anyone know how to adjust the lot size of Hirider EA, need to adjust it to become 0.5 lot instead 0.01 lot.

hirider is very good i have no idea what you guys are talking about. with some programming skills and a slight modification to equity management in hirider you remove the entire blackswann-waiting-to-happen thing altogether and you can make this like one of the best robots to ever hit the market. I'm very serious on this one.

 

 

The problem is, i, so far, with birts version, dont have any trades either on demo or in live. This is sux.

But i suppose i shouldn;t have any trades, chemie will post here when new trades for hirider come.

 

When i find the time to modify it to my liking i will post the modified version here so everybody can have a go at back testing that.

that's about right for hirider. I only tested it for 2009 though. however, it hits 10 stoplosses on november 5th which the backtest doesnt show.
