    The 4H signals come every 4 hours and the D1 come once a day so if you check twice a day you are good (morning and evening)

    forexfx,

    The way it works right now is this - when you join FXAW, you get the Entropy Signal Client windows app. The app receives any new trade signals for all currency pairs and TFs M5 - D1 every five minutes. The signals come from FXAW servers. You trade these manual right now but in a week or so Bluto will release the MT4 EA bot that automatic trades the signals. Last, bluto will release a "fat client" version of Entropy that runs on your own pc and gets price feed from your own MT4 so you dont need to receive signals from FXAW servers unless you still want to. Manual trading the signals is really easy that even a pet monkey could do it. BUT - those signals are the grail. I swear by this. No indicator or method or ea or anything I have seen is this good at those signals. But - when you read on the forum how bluto processes the price data with neural nets and baysian quantum algos and all of the unusual stuff, its like nothing you have ever seen. Im an engineering Phd student and it makes my head spin. Well I hope that helps.

    I just want to say thank you to jmsaffron for inviting my to join FXAW, this was my first week and I'm still in shock with the quality of Entropy signals. You still have to know how to trade manually, but if you do you'll rip off the benefits!

    I'm documenting every signal on the H4 and D1 just for the record and a good 75% of them reach TP3. I was live on the AUDJPY trade that CJ posted and did get stop out at BE+2 but the trade actually went in profit for 30+ pips bafore retracing on NFP news. There was no reason not to bring the SL to BE+2 like CJ recommends.

    Again Thank you CJ, Entropy is amazing!

    People, this jmsaffron is a master at Entropy trading. You should see his stuff on the FXAW site. I will say though that this is the easiest and best system I have ever seen. In a short week or so I have been trading all the H4 signals and a few H1 too. Bluto (the owner of FXAW and Entropy) likes H4 and D1 and says the H4 are the "sweet spots" but the H1 and M30 can be lucritive too. If you follow just some simple rules it's crazy good and that is not spam or lies or anything untrue. I have made pips after pips and just about every signal wins the basic TP the signal gives you and much more. I will say again good people that I dont know how much longer this system can be gotten because I bet the doors are going to close because of too many people wanting in but if you ever wanted a system that works this is it my brothers and sisters. On Monday I will go live with my $1k MIG. This is all my money left and I am confident and hopeful I can send some good money home if everything works out.

    Are you still clicking on New Order and then entering your stop loss and take profit manually?

    You're wasting a lot of time... try this: media***fire.com/?2b87iamzfik0qd3

    These go in Indicators > Scripts, to use them make sure experts are enabled and then just drag the buy or sell script onto your chart and the order is entered automatically and the stop loss and take profit are put in. After you're in the order, drag and drop the file SL-Tp move by mouse onto your chart, you'll see the red lines, click on the red lines to drag and drop your stop loss and take profit.

    Instructions to change the default stop and take profit and size:

    Open the file OrderBuy.mq4 in metaeditor, change the values as you see them in the green text (for 5 digit brokers add an extra digit), Now save as something else, ex: z_Buy , z_Sell (for easy access), be sure to save to indicator> scripts AND then click file > Compile.

    You can repeat the process and save different scripts if you trade different sizes or different stop/tp for certain markets...

    Made a frankenstein EA from v5.2 and v3.2 (many thanks to donator who sent me 5.2).
    Simply speaking, I added the v5.2 code to the 3.2 code and came up with this!

    This is Pyramid EA v5.2XE (xtra educated!)

    Essentially there is a grid option and trade averaging code in this EA.
    Also there are different presets for v5.2 (for trading on M30 charts)
    You can turn off the v5.2 features by setting "koef_grid" to 0, and it will trade like v3.2/v4
    Of course, there is no dll protection or account number requirement so you can put it on whatever you like.

    Seems to blow up in backtesting (no surprises there), but MT4 backtesting is quite **** anyway and unreliable. Seems like the coders have better multi-year live results.

    Of course, this EA simply takes advantage of hedging and has martingale elements. That is, it doesn't trade like a manual trader and stays in the market 24/5, ready to handle whatever the market can throw at it (hopefully).
    Personally, I think this is one of the best grid-hedging-martingale EAs out there... but use with caution!

    Ensure your broker can handle microlots and hedging, and that you have at least $1500 in it.
    If your broker can't, don't run this EA on it!

    Great work guys! It's excellent to see you're keeping the thread alive :)

    The key to this system (like any others) is only taking the very best signals. Everything should line up before we allow the EA to jump into a trade. This is so important yet many fail to grasp the importance. We don't want stacks of trades per day even from the EA. One or two good trades per day with high probability of success (say 70-80%) and we have an EA which is consistently profitable, stable and over time will generate significant wealth ;)

    Recent posts in the manual thread by psaini suggest that he's mainly using normal pivots as S/R levels and just taking signals provided there's no news nearby.

    A possible enhancement is to add FF_Cal (the most recent version) and block trades being placed 30 mins before or after "Red" news items. The 30 mins can be parameter based on each side of the news, as on NFP day for example we may want to extend these to 60mins or more. Though as a general rule we know that NFP will fall on the first Friday of the month unless it coincides with a national holiday or some other major event (these situtations are quite rare though), so even NFP could be coded in using DayOfWeek() in a new month and will work most of the time.

    Also pivots can be added, with rules. For example. If we have an up arrow and price is very close to R1 or R2 and probability is > 20 then we should wait for a a closed 5m candle above R1 before entering a Buy trade. R3 is best avoided for Buy trades as it means that price is stretched a long way in one direction and may bounce back short hard stopping us out. However if price is heading down from R3 to R2 and we have a down arrow and probability is < -20 then that would be a good trade and target could be R2 (or one of our fixed targets).

    There's loads of things to experiment with for you guys who have the time spare. I'm sure that given the sucess various folks have had manually trading this system with little discretional input, that the system will do very well as an EA if coded with the correct rules.

    hermes,

    It was never my intention to provide a perfectly functioning EA which you could put onto live account as soon as it showed any profits in demo lol.

    My primary interest is in manual trading and I created the EA as a starting point for anyone interested in adding to the foundations and making something really good - which I still believe is possible. Obviously with anything worthwhile creating there will be a cycle of testing/fixing/improving which will go on several times, unfortunately it's not something I can spare the time for right now.

    Here are a few of the things I have listed as the next development phase:

    1) Fix the trailing stops problems.
    2) Add back the MACD arrow for flexibility of entry signals.
    3) Add an option to move stop to breakeven (or breakeven+x pips).
    4) Fix the problem where the EA places trades immediately when it's placed on a chart.
    5) Fix the problem where the EA places another trade immediately after being taken out with a trailing stop.
    6) Add an option to base the stop on ATR(14)*2 just out of curiosity.

    The problem that you saw with the manual confirmation window popping up all the time is just a parameter setting.

    If you're always going to manually confirm trades, then set parameter OrderTriesNumber to 0.

    one time buy trade and one time sell trade max per day idea

    I agree with hermes about setting up the trading hours.
    Also there is one thing i like to bring up during my testing:

    If we are using trailing stops, we need to be able to set EA to place only maximum 1 time trade per day so that when trailing got hit, it will not place another trade again until the following day (if we can set one time buy trade and one time sell trade max per day will be even better). I found out when trailing stop closed out the trade, it places another trade again which looses its purpose of trailing. Otherwise, we should not trail stops and use the setting in the EA "Close Prob 0 = true" so that the order will only close when Prob = 0. However, i like the trailing idea better.

    Regards.

    Guys I got the TS working by using MPTM from the forex factory forum.

    download it, paste on your experts folder and attach it to any chart.

    Set TS in PIPA to "false", 0, and 0 respectively and let MPTM handle the trailing by changing the following settings:

    Managealltrades = true

    Breakeven = True
    bREAKEVENpips = 22
    Breakevenprofitpips = 5

    Thats how we move SL to 5 once price gets to 22 profit... Then...

    TrailingStop=True
    UseStandardtrail=True
    TrailingStopPips=20
    TrailAfterBreakevenOnly=True

    That way you'll get the same effect as the defaults on PIPA (which at least for me are not working).

    SoundFx, I beleive in your EA and the whole concept of this thread. I'd like to offer my demo space and myfxbook account to showcase different settings' results. Please sing out which ts/tp/trsl parameters you'd like me to test with the EA from your experience of manual trading this strategy. I'll upload my demos to myfxbook account

    Cheers from Peru,

    Diego

    I will like to report this week progress, this is Pipa attached to the H1 TF, I know that my Trailing Stops are giving constant errors and not working properly, but even then the EA manage to pull out some pips. The loses on the EUR/USD were totally avoidable as when I attached the EA it just get in right away, it should have a time delay to give the Expert time to digest the data or if the signal started too long ago wait for the next one and discart old signal.

    rmitsos,

    I'm not sure myself what's happening with trailing stops (they always seemed to work ok for me) and I've not got much free time to spend looking at this EA. I hope that some other coders will step in and help you guys out.
