Gambler, did you subscribe to CandlePRO? Has anyone else tried it? From what I've seen, the daily analysis and commentary isn't that bad. Although, I do take it with a grain of salt like anything else. I like to see what other traders are thinking and see how it fits into my trade plan and what my system is telling me. If it doesn't fit, then I can use that information to take the other side of the trade.

Sorry, for the late reply, never went into my old posts. Anyway, I am on free subcription and do get updates everyday on the euro, sometimes late by email, so I usually go to the website and see if it has turned up and look at the comments and so forth. It is rather a hit and miss situation. There is no guarantee that things will work. It all depends on your money management and if you can wait up the whole session witing for the right candle to form, take the signal, if successful , you hopefully get out in time with your profits or wait until the targets are reached (if reached) or take a loss and wait for the next signal. It is more of drawing a trendline and fibs and candle signals. Patience is the key. if that is your thing then candle pro is worth , but I would rather make my own decisions than subscribe for $97.

It is better to subscibe to his free updates instead. I find the candle pro not worth unless you are willing to sit on the computer the whole session waiting for the candles to form which most of thetime do not give you any success. Just my opinion.

Today I had the charts running but suddenly all the indicators and candles on the offline chart disappeared.

For some unknown reason the whole thing stopped working and I was lucky to discover it fast enough to

remove the trade-EA which I had running on the offline-chart.

 

EAs work with incoming tick data and when no tick data arrives like in my case on the M2-chart,

the EA is dead.

 

I read from others in another forum that they often had problems with offline-charts and therefore won´t dare to trade with EAs on offline charts but it was hard for me to believe it before today.

 

I used Renko-charts and never had problems with them.

Maybe it is the Range-bar EA which is more often producing such undesired situations.

I hope somebody can shed more light on this.

you will have to make sure the 1 min chart from which you formulated the m2 offline chart is still running. If the 1 min chart is deleted, the offline chart stops running as it has no reference.

This TradeGuider stuff is rubbish, in my humble opinion.

I've installed it and gave it a go and run full backtest

and some forward-test.

Arrows doesn't really indicate go long/short signals - they are only

valid under set of other conditions (which are way too numerous

to follow or understand or rember).

Cannot make any sense from it.

I though - it is good, they have hundreds of hours of videos

avaialble - but it is too subjective - I'm not going to learn

and remember, what's told inside these hundreds of hours.

It maybe good system for someone - but not for me.

Whats a SSD? and yes it gives me the option to run it under compatibility mode but its no use either... There are times when it lasts more than a month and just when I think everything is alright this time... BOOM... it crashes again without any reason....

 

SSD is a solid state drive. It makes the computer much more faster. If you do not know what it is, you might not have it. Maybe home premium is the problem, or you have too many indicators running at the same time, including the EA. it is better to close the charts you are not using, and only keep open waht you need. The indicators might be sucking up the RAM if you only have 2GB. Might be worth increasing RAM also. It could be one of the issues also if not home premium. Hope that helps. good luck.

It is like this harry007: I buy, then after 20pips positive, I tell you to buy. The market goes up 20 pips, I makes 40 pips, you make 20 pips. What is published is 40pips profit. You complain, I says profit depends on where you enter and exit. if you complain too much, I give you no answer. I buy, trade moves against me 10 pips. I tell you to buy trades moves 5 pips in you favour, i get out with 5 pips loss, market suddenly slumps, you take 20pips loss. I publish 5pips loss, you complain, I say you did not manage you trade properly, so you took 20 pips loss. If you complain too much, I keep quite. At least I have your subcription money. There is more than one way to make money.

I am running windows 7 pro and run 2 terminals of mt4 at same time with no problem. Maybe Home premium has a problem or maybe if you are using a ssd especially a cheap one. Does your computer give you an option for running the mt4 on a 32bit or Win XP?

Yes , he call realtime trades, and also he teach, why he do the trade , he has a system 123 entrys but a special fxbindal 123 entry.

standard is he go for 10 pips and banking 1/2 and let the rest running, the Sl is standard 25 , but many time he scalp a very small SL ~13 pips.

 

prob in the tradingroom , you can't see they other traders, he let it run in privat mode, so you don't have contact , only to him.

 

in december he call 905 pips , I make 115, that's because I miss the 23. and 24. there he make 231 and 179 pips and other days I not trade around 10 trades because if he call the price was already 10 pips away. some days in his results I never saw the trades , I think there is some cosmetic :)

looks very nice , but I can't follow. I really don't know what is going on. I still wait for the month january 2011 results on his website , there I make in the first 15 trading days -128 pips then I give up. But he tell me later he make some monster trades :)

What a hotch potch of indicators. I agree with you Harry, It definitely is difficult to follow. Even if he was wrong it would be difficult to prove as every indicator gives a different fart.
