i also use MT4 and u can export data history from your live acc on mt4.

search for import on your NT and type "import". it will tell you what format u have to have to import data history to NT.

now u just have to "convert" your mt4 data history to that format. i would recommend excel to do that.

PS: you can get a demo from activtrades and download historical data via the historical download function from mt4. you will get M1 data down to 1999.

It is something self written. I would never recommend to trade a blackbox. Talking about tradingsystem and ideas is something else but isn’t part of the topic.

well thank you for the info.

I do have another problem with the connection to MBT.

when IB takes the time off (23:00-23:15 german time) NT doesnt care and everything goes on after 23:15

when MBT takes the time off (twice a day) NT cant reconnect to MBT. a black block covers the middle screen and i have to restart NT in order to reconnect to MBT. no need to say that this is very bad for my autotrades.

does anyone have the same problem and a solution to this?

isnt this version a multibroker version? if I dont get data from the second broker how should I trade on the second broker then?

hi there,

i got your version of NT but when connecting to IB and MBT it only shows the data of the first connected broker eventhow it shows that NT is connected to both of them.

e.g.

datafeed for eurusdIB datafeed IB

datafeed for eurusdMBT datafeed MBT

if my first connected broker is IB I only get data of eurusdIB and NOT MBT (chart of eurusdMBT showes no data)

if my first connected broker is MBT I only get data of eurusdMBT and NOT IB (chart of eurusdIB showes no data)

in both cased I am conneced to both broker.

does anyone have the same problem and a solution?

Does anyone know if NT has a feature or some other script to auto download history from IB?

IB has the restriction that you can only download limited history every 5 min. That’s what it said but it seems that it is more like every 10 min.

I wanted to make an portfolio backtesting and need a lot of data from different stocks which IB offers but only over time due to the restriction. Since this is a stupid routine job there has to be a tool out there what does that job for me so I don’t have to sit in front of the computer the entire time.

just a question... why do people need more than 100 leverage? if you really need a higher leverage then something is wrong with your moneymanagement. it tends to risk to much.

I just opened an account with them and will report here what my live experience is. I use my own EAs who scalps the Asian market. So my report will be under the Asian market condition.

If they are a NO Dealing Desk just why do they have 2 accounts?

Account 1 with min $400,-

Second account with min. $50000,-

The second has this written for advantages:

“Ideal for scalping , short-term trading and High Frequency High Volatility (HFHV) Trading”

Isnt that normaly an indication of an dealing desk?

they dont have an ECN account but they have something called interbank account.

i like them. the spread is variable and they have a high volatile chart. they dont erase ticks like other do (tadawulfx).

i like the posibility to trade cfd without having to pay overnight swaps.

I am sorry to say this but a lot of people just try to find an EA and hope to get rich fast.

I always read the statement about MM and that MM is the most important thing in trading.

Sorry but don’t over estimate MM. MM will come along but the more important thing is to train your eyes.

I never read the fact that training the eyes is important. I do think that this training is the holy grail. That is what makes money.

Sorry but MM is one of the first step you learn but after that step I don’t need on reading the same old story over and over again.

Training the eye is something you will never get enough from. That is the source of new strategies.

A second part is… learn to write programs. It is important to backtest your ideas as fast as possible to advance.

The longer you have a “looser” strategy in your head what you think is the holy grail the more it will burn in your head and effect your future trading.

i had an account with FXCBS and the withdraw works fine BUT there swaps are way to high.

eg.

I went long on eur/chf on activtrades.

same night I went long on eur/chf on FXCBS.

both same lotsize:

activtrades gave me swaps of 0,40.

I had to PAY FXCBS 12,-

looking at the intest rate going long on eur/chf I should get swaps so activtrades did everything right.

I still don't understand why I had to pay 12,-

So far tadawulfx no problem. A few re-quotes but not as much as IBFX

i placed my allowd slippage on 2 pips and hadover 60 requotes on 12 hours.

TW has fix spreads but they dont let you in a position. You better count the 3 pips slippage to the spreads.

slippage=3

total=6

chart isn't that votile.
