I checked but i dont realy think that this ea will be answer for me . I use meta trader 4 and I know how to use trailling stop ( i think :) ) but it should be another way to program a trailing stop after certain price level..........

 

like after eurusd 1.3600 set a trailling stop of 10 pips ... so when price hit 1.3600 program will set SL to 1.3600 and trailling stop at 10 pips.

I want to set a trailing stop after TP point is it possible?

 

my TP is 20 pips and usually price hit my TP but i dont want to close my position right away. if I set a trailing stop of 10 pips after TP hited I can do 50 pips .

 

I use a system that is profitable but for more I need to handle this ...

I am not the owner of the site... ( forex.strategy.secret :-ss

 

but i am very impressed about their system and i think this is one it makes money ... and its easy and i can use this system with small SL ... there are great system here (fxpro 100 pips system & pallada system) but the problem is you need to set up 50 pips SL and I do not have that sum :)

 

I think one day i will buy their system ... when i buy it and test it , I will share it , i dont share if i dont try....

How do you filter those MA crosses whipsaws since it seems the OSMA not always help?

 

 

actually i wait after MA cross for OSMA ... if osma pass other side ( i mean under or over 0 level ) I trade... if osma still in opposite direction I do not get in... you can wait close of the second candel ...

I do not use any other TF to verify my entry but it should be helpful , i am little hot when I trade I see it and go for it :)

 

I try this system to many times and it is always winner at the end...

I want to tell you how I try today , because its very useful for every system and u can gain experiance in a short time ...

 

1- go back on the chart as far as you like

2- start press F12 ( you will see chart goes forward candel by candel)

3- take a pen or use notepad ( when you decide to enter the market ) write it down entry point / TP / SL

4- make 10 trade at least and look at the result

 

you will see your winning rate ... this is kinda backtest for manuel system ...

 

I did it today for my system

I go 27/02/2010 to 02/03/2010

I made 10 trade with fix TP and SL

only london and mid newyork session

SL 15 pips / TP 10 pips + 2pips spread

TF 15M

7 wins +70 pips

3 loses -45 pips

total +35 pips

 

if I use trainling stop it can be more ....

hey it makes 10 pips / day ... not a perfect system ... i want more :)

it give 5 - 10 pips signals ( or more but for now thats all)

MA yellow periode : 3 shift : 0

MA red periode : 5 shift : 3

OSMA (12,26,9) normally default setting

rules :

Time frame 15 min

opening London session to mid newyork ( asian very hard to find good entry , for me at least :) :-?? )

 

First MA cross and goes one direction , than OSMA ( goes over or under 0) and confirm with 2 bar to the same direction . osma should pass 0 level , if it goes over 0 buy signal or inverse is a sell signal.

 

TP : 5 - 10 pip , normally it makes minimum 5 pips , if u use traling stop you can do more pips , it depend on your trading skill & style

 

I take a screen shot of yesterday which is not a good day to trade but to show you it works very well...

this is thv system or cobra forex dot com system. very useful , generally work best in 5 min chart but if you know what u r doing u can use allover the place for every TF ... I saw the picture u use V3, now V4 come out. your template is most likely " 1 thv4 mtf " template in THV V4 . take a look .

I use this system for about 2 days now . really simple one ... my style is :

 

if coral is red and candels under cloud (ichimoku) -> sell sl: 10 pips tp : 15 pips ( it makes 17 pips or more generally on 5M chart)

 

if coral is green and candels over cloud (ichimoku) -> buy sl: 10pips tp : 15 pips

 

 

becareful if you mix with other systems it makes little headace :) I lose when I use with other systems.

 

2 trades minimum per day = 30 pips not bad . =D>

 

I will put some pics next time , I use in real account by the way.

I can say i dont have any problem with FXCM , I have another micro account with them but I have to use their " trading station " so for use all indicator i need mt4. I make my desition on mt4 and trade on FXCM trading station . and no problem the tp ...

I dont want to say alpari uk is a bad broker , I search alot before open a live account , and alpari is the most serious one . but platform is not cool not for a scalper :) when try to trade scalper style that doesnt work :-/

i made a trade i have an micro account in alpari uk ... on the chart i see price hit my take profit point but it didnt quit and suddenly price went other direction X-( , so I send an email to alpari and he tell me that ;

i use this system and i found on forexstrategysecret dot com . it s called jump start and use 2 ma and osma indicator. as you said it has winning rate of 80 % but they prefer to use on 15 min TF for 5 -10 pips per trade.

 

I try to find the way to do more pips with this system that works great . may be your setup will be the answer :)

if you register to the site you can learn " jump start " technic for free ( not a strategy) ....

 

so i use this technic for a while and its working real good ... may be I will pay for their other system. if I cant find here for free :) :D

 

if you dont try jump start try it first , i can say 80 % working technic only thing is just for 5 or 10 pips...

 

if anyone have launch pad , I am really interested...

to be honest I am a newbie and I will do same think :) I have 250 € I will put it on forex market than lose around 50 € :)

 

I study forex day & night for about 2 month , I opened and go deep down 0 in many demo account.

now I open a new demo account with 3000 and I trade seriously this is the 10th day and I made +850€ ...

 

mini account first. USE 0.01 lot ... WIN %80 TRADE THAN PASS 0.02 LOT .... MAKE A PLAN FOR ONE YEAR AND YOU WILL BE RICH BEFORE YOU DEAD :))))

you have to study hard .

 

go mt4 and open a currency graphic than go back 5 month before.

start to press F12 ,

you will see it goes forward candel by candel ...

 

I did a lot and 8/10 disicion i made is for my favor...

 

middle click on the mouse and left click and drag ( middle number is the pip you made) ...

 

forex do not make easy money... but headache :)
