If Brokers actually made money from the spread, they would not have a problem with you making money from rebates ... from what I have read rebates are paid by you getting a percentage of spread when you trade. I don't see anything wrong with you using that to your advantage.

really disappointed, ... if i was making opposite trades would have make a killing .... I though he had beta testers and they were satisfied with results ... there is no way this ea could have been tested .... probably functionality open trades, set sl and tp .... but no way could logic of this ea have been tested .... will surely be getting a refund soon ...

hi, Junglist. By a quick review, I found a small mistake in your codes. I moved two lines of codes up just before dayfiler. they are "if(TrailingStop>0)TrailOrders(TrailingStop,MagicNumber); Monitor();"

 

I did so because when you already have some open trade, you cannot ignore it by dayfilter. You still need to trail them,right? I uploaded my version at

If you want to trade breakout of 8:15 candle you put ea on 15min chart (candle close 8:30), will set pending orders about high/low of this candle .... may have to mess around with parameter a bit to understand ... just put on demo, multiple charts and timeframes and see.

I came across this account on myfxbook .. not sure if its the same ea however name a bit similar ... 'indo-R 1.4p' , most of trade information is blocked though.

Think what he his trying saying is that if you have to keep buying and modifying ea to change with market condition it can get a bit expensive for the regular trader to make any kind of money ..... using zulutrade is free so this would be more cost effective ... however this site provides us with the opportunity to get access to educated ea .. so our cost is lower ... if ea make money we buy it (already covered its cost), if it doesn't make money we don't buy it (loss associated with trades) ...

Does market dynamic change ... in simple terms yes ... enough to affect trading ... I don't think so ... (breakouts will always be breakouts, 1-2-3 will always be, trendline/support/resistance bounce/breaks will always be) ...

 

Curve fitting is a big problem ... that's y I love the sharing mentality of this site.

I would like some assistance in modifying this EA, basically the 1st trade opens with a TP, i would like to have of entry to modify the order .. .remove take profit if it goes into martingale cycle ... so once a second trade in opened in the sequence the TP is removed from the 1st trade.

Here is an ea I found on mql4 site hxxp://[email protected]/?d=H5L0YSXQ , it is a multi-strategy ea. Ea requires a lot of configuration, cannot be used as default. You need a trading strategy, then configure this ea with trading strategy. I have not had a chance to test/use ea, and won't be a able to for at least another month. Idea of this tread is if everyone participating, try to configure ea, use for 2-4 weeks, then post set files.

Thanks for info., however code is not provided only .ex4 files .. so doesn't do much for someone who wants to learn coding.

there was a free ea i posted a while back with a similar money mgmt., was created after gps, however with back test failed eventually.

I have gotten quite a few request. I am away working, doesn't look like i will make it home for the holidays. contract till mid february. will have to sort thru my sent mails to see what i can find, won't be till end of month though.

Settings: EUR/USD H1 , TP 10 , HedgeAtLoss 35 , multiplier 2, hedgethehedge multiplier 2

it basically opens up a position, and if trade goes against, it opens position in opposite direction. Multiple used to open hedged position can be specified.

interesting stuff, i was messing with version that have BE functionality - default, caused most of my trades to close out at break even... so what i did was just moved my TP to 20 , don't trade on Monday mornings ... results ok . aleast 1 requote that trade did not go thru.

with time change (DST) , will trading time of ea have to be adjusted?

I would like to know code used in ea to retry after a requote. Basically ea tries to enter trade once, if there is a request it stops. Would like to have it keep trying (5-10) attempts before stopping

the default SL is 90, TP is 10 , there is a retrace function ... that is set to 40/20 therefore if price moves more than 40 pips against you and retrace back 20 it closes out .

Just a warning about this EA, I did not heed to previous warning and spent my hard earned on it. This EA (light version) is an exact copy of the Euro-Blaster v7.2 , while the full version is a copy of RSI_MA_Scalper which is available for free. I have put in a request thru paypal to get my money back, so will see how it turns out.

EA appears to be working ok, For those using, please let me know if there is any problems.
