  1. Re: Money from Forex?

It is definitely possible to make a living by trading with a focus on generating income. That being said, there are a LOT of variables that need to line up perfectly for you to be successful. You need a profitable system that fits YOUR personality, a good method of managing money, incredible discipline, a good broker, starting funds, and the list goes on and on. Each one of those items will also require time to research, find, test, and implement, i.e. it's going to take a good bit of time to get started. I'd recommend trying Forex at first as a hobby, then part time, then trading full time - that way you can slowly make the transition. If you just jump into trading, you'll no doubt be a failure at first (as pretty much all new traders are), and end up giving up. Good luck!

I make consistent money in the Forex. I attest that these advises make perfect sense.

  2. Re: You may hate me for telling you this

well...at least the 'experts' have to show their transaction records over a period of time, say for 60 days of consistent profits to be credible...

Nowadays marketing seems to be the key of their success... :-/

I disagree. If you were such an expert, would you show your records ? And in fact, it would be useless. Teach the same strategy to 100 traders, they will get completely different results. Many experiences have shown that. Trading is a lonely activity.

  3. Re: Market Matrix

He may be ignored, but the fact that he could be getting excellent trading systems and ideas from this forum with such ill attitude cannot be ignored. Besides, because of him, I will not be able to share Nexus for a while, at least in open way. Regarding Matrix itself, I am not sure why it is considered better than the last R.Miner's book. Both of the methods would give similar signals, just in different ways.

    Hi Dino,

There are also several other members here you do not want to share some of their systems, books, courses, etc. Their choice, of all of them, must respected. You cannot force someone. Just ignore them. Soon or later, someone else will come and propose to share.

If I'm not wrong, Nexus has nothing in common with the Matrix itelf. It contains just 2 simple strategies based on Fib ratio and Stochastics. But I may be wrong concerning Marix.

Wow, 80% drawdown ? I have never used an automatic trading software. I think I will never accept such a drawndown. I prefer manual and discretionary trading. We can be much more efficient, minimising risks and trying maximising profits. Morever, observing carefully the price while trading allows to better understand price action with time. This is an invaluable experience.

    Just my 2 cents.

    Hello,

I would like to be able to read and understand this kind of posts. Could you advise me with an enough good translator ? With that translator proposed by Yahoo (I think it's Babel Fish), translations are not understandable. Thanks a lot.

I have a different opinion. Trading is easy when you know what you are looking for. I track specific types of movement and those only. This of course has a terrible consequence : you need to be extremally patient waiting for these movements. And patience is sometimes difficult.

    Hello new friends,

Do you think that a successful experience in futures may help trading Forex successively ? Compared to the futures market, to what should I be attentive with FX ? (I add that my futures experiences are mainly in indices fuures SP500, Dow Jones, Nasdaq.)
