I'm surprised there still are defiant people admitting they have something valuable which they're not sharing. The least one could have done was to refrain from any statements.

The forum.mt5.com thread is totally different from the strategy at hand. One is BB based, the other is pivot level based, there is no connection between the two.

@FXiGoR: your empirical note is true. Efficient EAs stay efficient for a short while, then when used at a broad scale (e.g. Megadroid or FAP Turbo) brokers report that to Market Makers and the entry criteria of those EAs are absorbed by the market. That's when they start losing money.

 

Any strategy that gets out and starts being used by lots of traders will sooner rather than later become dilluted and no longe produce the lovely entries it used to.

 

Those guys who really find something truly valuable... they never disclose that to anyone else.

This one is a standard "buy when stochastics is below oversold level / sell when stochastics is above overbought level" as well as a MA 20 filter. That's not the only thing Mover3MkII does. The author clearly mentions he is using pending orders and ran a lot of optimization.

The 100 pip stoploss is not okay in trending markets, it leaves lots of positions open far away from the current market standing. There may be levels that a certain currency pair will not visit again soon, therefore those positions must be closed at an early stage. I suggest a tighter SL
