  1. The indicator buy-sell of this system(the red and blue dots) i think is DT-zigzag-lauer. It's based on a 4 hour zigzag. I run it in strategy tester and is repaints(as it's expected) in the 4 hour timeframe. The strange is that when i run it again in strategy tester, it doen't seem to repaint in the 1 hour timeframe and lower. Anyone know why?

    Thanks

  3. Re: Help starting with Forex

    Hello everyone,

I'm totally new to Forex... I have lost my job and want to make money through Forex... Is that possible... Can anyone give me any ideas where to start?

If you haven't enough money for living, search for a new job. As you 'll learn ""you can't win with scared money"". That mean that you can't trade with money you have for family, food, bills, etc. Don't learn it the hard way. So, get a job and 2-3 hours a day practice with very small money(real account), till you start to earn money.

  4. Re: When You First Entered The Forex World . . .

1 year demo trading. Very easy, compared with real account. I remember i left open trades for days without look at them. I was taken trades without second thought, i averaged losing positions etc. It wasn't real money. It was waste of time. Demo trading is only for 1 or 2 months to learn the platform and to place trades. Nothing else. I have opend a real account 1 year ago. I have managed not to lose. I took almost 600 trades. 70% winning trades. Every 3-4 winning trades i take 1 or 2 losing ones and i give all the profits back. I know everything about price action. I have tried almost all the indicators. I have spent more than 2 years with Forex, at least 4-5 hours every day. I take emotional trades, just to trade. Every 2 weeks i change indicators and system(looking for the Holy Grail!!!!!!) This is my fault and i am working on that. I know i can win if i am disciplined. I have only to work on myself.

Hope that helps someone and make the time to success shorter.

  5. Re: Why Do Traders Lose?

Let's say that every morning i throw a coin to place a trade. 1 pip is the spread and i place 100 pip TP and 100 pip SL and i go for 1% of my account. I give the orders and i close the computer till the next morning. We must all agree that with that system, my account will be here after 6 months( perhaps with a little up or down), but 80/90% of all new accounts will be at zero.

How can be explained that we lose, although the odds are 50/50(throwing a coin), although we have a bunch of indicators to help us with our choices(not just simple throwing the coin)?

  6. Re: Scalping...is this a waste of time or can you....

Scalping needs many hours in front of the screen. Needs discipline to close the bad trades, so it's not for a newbie. At last but most important you must have a system that wins more than 70-80%, as the spread is against you. If you go for 5 pips with 1 pip spread you pay the broker 20%, if you go for 10 pips you pay 10% e.t.c. I don't know a single trader how succeded over the years trading only with a scalping system

Here's the indicator. Don't have a pdf of the system but there is a set of videos of various trades using the indicator. Here's the attachment for the indicator.

No videos on that site. I don't know but the links don't work

    Thanks for the indicator
