    I've a question... This Megadroid works in the day or just in night? Because I'm interesting that Megadroid works in day, because in night the results are amazing, but unfortunately I need to works in day, or if there's another EA that works in day same as Megadroid... some help please? [-O<

     

    You can have Megadriod set up to work during the day by either adjusting your gmt offset or using a version (posted here) that can set begin and end times for your trading. However, Megadroid being a channel trader, will most often result in looses during day hours because of the volatile market. If you can however find a two hour period during London or New York session where the market is calm and moves in a tight range consistently, then you can try that timeframe. Someone mentioned GMT +8 as a possible timeframe but I haven't ever tried that.

     

    It will be interesting if we can incorporate a SAR (Stop and Reverse) out of the channel feature with Megadroid or another EA that trades breakouts....

    You could use the version posted here to change your trading hours. You can play with your GMT offsets to fool MD into trading any day which is not a normal trading day. Your GMT offset (+/-) 24, 48 etc.

     

    The results outside of the normal trading is not very encouraging and often result in in big losses.

    Hey Don on next version can you put in the time window addition I did.. It was pretty simple just change 2 variables.. Take a quick look at the EA I uploaded you will see... Thanks..

    Here is the link to the version that Hacker posted. This one had begin and end times that you can set. Useful feature because Megadroid trades for 2 hours by default. I think to trade AUD or JPY pairs, the best time would be one hour between US close and Asia open. Of course I need to run backtest to verify....

    something fishy about the new FT Evo and the deal with swiss etc, i just hope the punters dont get screwed here. I can see tears on the horizon, although I will be watching closely after the lauch to see how it performs. Limited 2000 copies hmmm we'll see i doubt it tho.

     

    yep. these guys don't have much credibility with me after the pump and dump operation of that penny stock.

    I think it is the same robot made to work on dukascopy platform. Fap is dependent on tight spreads and dukascopy is supposed to have the best spreads. that's the marketing pitch.

     

    Dukascopy normally requires 50k deposit but are offering accounts with 10k minimum. Per their web site, the commission rates are double for the 10k accounts than the 50k.

     

    I am concerned that they'll be selling a lot more than 2000 copies that would definitely push dukascopy spreads higher (at least for the 10k accounts). Then to run Fap sucessfully, you may have to move to 50k account......

    FAP guys are believed to have a customer base of over 30k. They say they will release only 2000 copies that they can very easily market within their customer base directly. But they are selling through affiliates and offering free Megadroid pro also.... Unless the plan is to sell a lot of copies of FTE, this doesn't make any sense.

    on the 30th, june, 2009, http://fapturbo-swiss.com/ will release a fapturbo special made for Dukascopy and it will costs about 597USd per copy.

     

    They say limited copies to ensure favorable spreads.... don't know if this is just marketing hype.

     

    Original fapturbo site still say they are down to the last 27 copies are prices are going up. They've been saying that for the last 8 months.
