Do you mean to say in a sideways market it keeps you out of trades but in a trending market gets you in? It's marketed to work best in a trending market with HH, HL, LL, HL.

 

yamantaka, from what I've seen, when you have a sideways market you get good entries, but on a trending day (HH, HL, LL, HL) you'll get entries but you'll get stopped out because of the strong trend.

I agree with you, sideways market it can help, but on a trending day, its really bad

As I look at this performance page, I scratch my head and smile. Although many, if not most of these trades call for doubling and tripling down--which is out of the reach for the typical retail trader--why doesn't the developer beg, borrow and steal money so he can trade in a cash account? I'm sure he could find a financial backer. Who wouldn't be interested in taking a cut of those juicy YTD profits (even after deducting for commissions)?

A good recovery day for Buddy. I'm dropping ZS. It isn't suitable for the strategy.

SIM trades with the Buddy today. Minute charts seem to perform better than Range and you can backtest with confidence, too.

you need to copy the host file for example to your desktop, make the change and then copy the file to your C:\Windows\System32\drivers dir

Are the logs for this guy correct, looks like he has found something really good!

maaaaan, how many times, do this on live data not back testing! or if you want to test this on back testing and if you have a 12-1 renko, change the slippage to 12 or 14, then you'll see how much money you will lose. The charts wont look pretty then

i think for a better result, if you are using a 4-1 renko system, you should set it to 4 slippage, the results will be totally different

are all this based on live market or back testing? I cant believe your buy order are that low on a buy order and high when you sell
