  1. Re: REQ: cyrox for ninjatrader

sorry i didnt see your post any earlier, but for everybody else you may want to have a look here

at an ninja trader forum called similar to "Big Like" - search for "Almosts797" - its a template for Ninja

(as far as i know direct links are forbidden, sorry to have to describe it in such a stupid fashion)

buyt i guess you´ll be able to figure it out

I dont use that kind of stuff myselves so i cant comment how it compares to the "original" - I have the cyrox ebook and i can say that i found it pretty useless, he talks about pretty much everything but about his method in detail, which, as it already has been said, requires "a lot of screentime".

    You bet it does.

    Anyways, hope this helps anyone.

    Hi pygmalion, kudos ;)

  2. Hi dear traders, do someone know by chance were to find cyros indicators for ninjatrader? The very expensive official tools can be found here:

    hxxp://www*cyrox*com/tools*html

I think the cyrox scalper method is maybe one of the best scalper methods but needs a lot of screen time, that means patience... camilla osc, cyrox osc cyrinus osc, cyrinus MMA...

    Kind regards, joh

I will try to explain why this method is for me outstanding...

The method is so good because it takes advantage of a Time Frame of 1 to 20/30 seconds... In this way you are always early in the market than most of the normal traders (= as for example you and me :( )... You see early than most of the traders in what direction the currency is going... And let me say that a 1 second TF is manageable, far better manageable then the 1 minute on MT4... You can use your MT4 software to enter the trade beeing on a 1 minute TF but controlling this trade with the help of a NinjaTrader TF of 1 to 20 seconds...

Here some steps to scalp on a ONE SECOND Time Frame:

    1) You use for scalping proposes a 1 to 20 sec. time frame... now, this is with MT4 not easy to make. Programms to change the TF for MT4 are wellknown but not the best ones... So, what to do?

    2) You can download NinjaTrader as a demo of course for free... But what about a data provider? Also no problem... you connect to also a demo - MB Trader or Forex.com/GAIN Cap - and NinjaTrader gives you exact advices how to do this... look at this page: hxxp://www*ninjatrader*com/webnew/support_connectionguides.htm....

    3) It sounds very simple and indeed the installation is as simple as my description above... but to trade scalping on a one second time frame requires a lot of screen time... and here is were the problem lies: it really takes some time to become a "good 1 to 5 seconds scalper"... You can go to the cyrox forum and look by yourself what I am talking about... I would recomend to visit the Journals, so you can see that this method is in the long run very profitable...

A last remark: my experience with EAs - after some years using them - is a negative one. Now I think that the only way to go if you want to be consistent and profitable is a sort of discretional trading... but I see a lot of problems when trading intraday for longer then several minutes to some hours.... So to scalp is for me the way to go but how to take advantage in the Forex market when scalping? Well, scalping on a 1 to 20 seconds time frame is FOR ME the answer....

In some way this trading has the same logic as the Genius EA with the difference that it is not an EA and there is no interference with the broker... Your broker does not know that you are using Ninja Trader for entering porpuses and beside that who cares?

    Have a nice trading day

last edit: have decided to buy the software because I consider this scalping method by far as one of the best out there. So no more seeking for it,

have a nice trading day anew

  3. Re: FX Genuis Robot Discussion

    johan,

You are 100% correct about the latency issue and accuracy of ANY demo account. I use a VPS from JadeFX that is hosted on their Boston Technologies (BT) server network. This has 1ms latency to both Jade and The Collective because those two brokers and others rent their MT4 servers from Boston Technologies. From my SWVPS VPS my latency is 8 - 12 ms to Jade and The Collective so all quotes that I receive from my SWVPS VPS are already stale and worthless for live trading.

This Jade VPS setup is great for getting the Master feeds but the latency to the Slave broker is much larger and I can't find out by how what it is. BT has decided to block ICMP packets (ping) from their VPSs so it is impossible to tell how long it takes for the order to arrive at FXPro etc.

My live results for last night using Master feeds from live accounts at The Collective and Jade FX trading on a live Slave account trading 0.10 lots with a SafetyMargin of 8 at FXPro resulted in 28 requotes and one filled order that lost 0.8 pips. If I were to continue, FXPro most likely will freeze or close my account like several other brokers have already done.

I, for one, am done with GENIUS as I hate the hassle of opening an account and the bigger hassle of trying to get my money out after a broker has decided to freeze or close my account. My interest now is with a form of broker Arbitrage, taking a position on one broker and an offsetting position on a different broker and closing both when the price disparity reaches 0. This has its own set of risks but hopefully they will be more manageable and still play by the rules of the brokers.

I am all for sharing information but with the GENIUS EA I think that if you find a broker where it works, take them for all you can and get your money out as fast as you can. It is like finding a broken or rigged slot machine in Las Vegas. You should either report it and walk away or take every dollar that you can and run like hell!

    Hi Hitescape,

I agree with you that the risk is too high and the waste of time also an issue for this ea. In this form I give up trying to improve this ea..., have a nice day and kind regards, joh

  4. Re: FX Genuis Robot Discussion

    Abdulisback,

Sorry for the incomplete explanation and for the late reply. My connection has been down. Anyway I see that furton has provided a great explanation. If you still need help, please post again.

    johan,

FXPro and most MM brokers use many of the features of MT4 Server to manipulate the feeds. One of the tricks is to delay the execution, which I believe FXPro does. To get this to work with FXPro or FXOpen, one might need to put in a delay to prevent the order from closing before x seconds have elapsed since it was open. Since that is not a feature included in the EA you would need to add it.

    futron,

We are thinking alike with the mods on the SL and TP. Personally, I would do away with the StopLevel he is using for a stop loss and manage both the SP and TP from inside the EA. Sorry, can't help with Tradestation or Currenex. You can PM me for some other ideas on reducing latency on price feeds and, may ultimately, decide that Jade or The Collective (or both combined) will work.

    Hi Hitescape,

well, you know, things are more complicated in this matter and most of us are most of the time only guessing ;) let me say a few things whereby I have no intention to discuss these matters in an excessive way...

    1) you are right if you say that "most brokers use many of the features of MT4 Server to manipulate the feeds. One of the tricks is to delay the execution, which I believe FXPro does..." But here it comes: all brokers, also the ECN brokers, change to some degree the speed of the data feed. By the way, every MT4 client is beeing monitored from the server site... I have seen the futures that the broker on the mt4 server side can change... one can say that every mt4 client can have a specific set up, and of course data feed plays a great role. But guess what? Most brokers try in the name of their clients to smooth the data feed and this change slows the PA coming in. Here there is a lot to say but I will end with this statement only

    2) now here comes a most important future of the "wild forex land" that has also to do with data feed... I will give you some examples:

Local connection to the server (I live in Germany)

    FxPro / on demo = 106 ms / real = 67 ms

FxPro from my VPS in Canada

    demo = 160 ms / real = 99 ms

    now take The Collective

Local connection to the server from Germany

    demo = 135 ms / real = 145 ms (sic!)

    From VPS, Canada

    demo = 21 ms / real = 13 ms

Can you see what I mean? There are no general data feed numbers, you must try to find out from your local position what the numbers are - but also if you have a VPS posibility also find out what your ms are, on demo and real...

    3) say you find a VPS in New York near your broker, this could mean that the data speed would be very fast, maybe 10 ms or 5 ms... These numbers are for real...

    4) What does it mean for us? Well, we can hardly transfer our experiences from a demo account to a real account, because most brokers have different speeds for these acc... not all brokers, but most of them... this means that if we want to success with our Genius Robot we must "jump" into a life account and see if it works... This is of course risky but it is the only way to find out if it works...

    5) I know most of us experienced and unexperienced traders think of brokers in terms of a conspiracy theory: they just want to make money and they do everything to reach that goal... I don't think this way and I also don't want to discuss this topic, but want to say this: the problem with a programm that opens and closes too fast is that this trades interfere in a very negative way with most of the other traders... when this happens it causes problems inside the server... To my knowledge this is one of the reasons why the spann of open/close should not go under a specific norm... The solution: if we manage to be in compliance with the specific server of the broker it could word.... Also here is a lot that could be ad, but I will end here...

Have good traders and of course a good day, kind regards, joh

PS.:Forgot to ask you: any thoughts how to overcome these impases? We need to go in complience with the broker to be successful and accept some facts... hope this is clear enought...

  5. Re: FX Genuis Robot Discussion

Changing the time frame has no effect on the EAs. You get the same results on the M1 or W1, a tick is a tick.

On the Master side, it writes out every tick.

On the Slave side, the idea is that it reacts much slower than the Master so if you wait for a Slave tick, you miss the Master price action. Therefore, the Slave runs inside of a "while (true)" type of loop. This way, you can be constantly checking the output of the Master file regardless of the number of Ticks. Here you are using the CPU as the timer and maybe a sleep(1) to keep from consuming all of the CPU so the time frame is irrelevant.

To give you an idea of what I'm talking about, on average Alpari UK has about 5.5 times as many ticks as FXOpen for any of the major 4 pairs. So if you wait for a FXOpen tick, you have missed 4 Alpari price feed ticks.

I also found that by using kernel32.dll calls I can transfer the data more securly and faster than using the MQ4 code. Also, I can put my output file anywhere I like instead of the convoluted directory structure that this EA uses.

    Hi hitescape,

I found out what forum it is where this issue in beeing discussed ;) I understand the logic, that is for me obvious... what I wanted to say is this: what should be changed in the eas settings to be compatible say with FxPro? Maybe try to experiment with the adicional stops? I think there is some room to make some changes so there could be reached some compatility with a bucked shop like FxPro... by the way I am with fxcm and with ibfx but both are in no way candidates for genius... now I opened an account with fxpro and have some experiment in mind... will tell you if it worked out...

    kind regards, joh

  6. Re: FX Genuis Robot Discussion

    Hi Dave,

I am stil interested to see how this strategy could be worked out... for the srv files you mentioned I will pm you... also I am interested in your EAs that you wrote to transfer price... by the way have you tried to change the extra stop loss when trading life? Changing the order count would kill you very fast... one idea would be to change the time frame for taking the trades but this could maybe make the EA useless.. don't know...

    kind regards, joh

  7. Re: ForexRebellion

The Forex Rebellion has many failed sgnals so be careful about it. Using Rebellion without a fundamental perspective is very dangerous. But considering fundamental analysis it can have really good results. Recommended for those who use technical indicators with fundamental perpective.

Hi Romano, well, actually Forex Rebellion has no signals in the common sense... you can see an alert saying:consider entering a short / long trade. So it is UP TO YOU to enter or to wait for a better formation. If you stick to the rules then you can become "a good trader". But this presupposes hard work, you won't do it in just several weeks. Sad to say but a lot of us "would be traders" have no patience to get into the process of immersing and really accepting that this is a long process to go. Just like you would not study medicine or nanotechnology in 2 weeks, 2 months and even 2 years so is it the same with forex. And let me tell you that I was also thinking in "doing forex in some weeks". I learned the hard way to be really patience and doing forex in a serious manner. To come to this "insight" took me - you won't believed it - some years!

    Kind regards, joh

  8. Re: Megadroid Pro

    Hi ShaKerZ,

here you have the beginning and the end ... after done the settings don't forget to compile the new EA... maybe you can make a copy so if it don't work so you have still the original one... hope this helps.. joh

    /* if (ai_0 & 16384 > 0) PrintLN("Authenticated, EDUCATED v1.21_bbr121-1", TextColor1);

    else PrintLN("Authentication failed - error(" + ai_0 + ")", TextColor1);

  9. Re: Megadroid Pro

    Hi ShaKerZ,

it is easy to solve that error problem, do the following:

    1) open your EA with MetaEditor

    2) go to these program files beginning with this one:

    /* if (ai_0 & 16384 > 0) PrintLN("Authenticated, EDUCATED v1.21_bbr121-1", TextColor1);

    3) now go the this one, the last one:

    if (ai_0 & 4096 > 0) PrintLN("Error: Authorisation declined", TextColor1);

    */

    4) insert /* for the first file and */ for the last one... look at both files here, I have done it for you,

    Regards, joh

  10. Re: Drummond Geometry

    Hi jo,

Thank you for the detailed instructions but I still have the same problem. Let me try to make myself more clearer.

    1) I downloaded 5 rar files from the links provided in this thread...

    DRMG32-bit only.part1.rar (95MB)

    DRMG32-bit only.part2.rar (95MB)

    DRMG32-bit only.part3.rar (95MB)

    DRMG32-bit only.part4.rar (95MB)

    DRMG32-bit only.part5.rar (38MB)

    2) I then extracted the files from DRMG32-bit only.part1.rar to my C:\ drive. After all files were automatically extracted it created a folder called "C:\Drummond - 32-bit only". Within this folder it created 3 further sub-folders ( "Drummond - Guidelines for Analysis and Establishing a Trading Plan", "Drummond 1-30" and "Drummond Geometry Systems") and 2 files ("Drummond indicators.els" and "Drummond.rar")

    3) When I go into the "Drummond 1-30" folder there 8 folders in total:

    Cracks - Alternative

    DrummondCracks

    Lessons 1-5

    Lessons 6-10

    Lessons 11-15

    Lessons 16-20

    Lessons 21-25

    Lessons 26-30

    4) In folder "Lessons 1-5" you have all the various files and the "SETUP.EXE" file. To install these lessons I click on the "SETUP.EXE" file and I get the error:

    "C:\Drummond - 32-bit only\Drummond 1-30\Lessons 1-5\Lessons 1-5\SETUP.EXE

Attempt to access invalid address." :-?

So you see I cannot even get to the install bit because I keep getting the above error. I have done all virus, malware, spyware, etc checks, and it comes all clean! :-??

This is a weird one for me, but thanks to everyone who have tried to help me so far. ^:)^

    Hi meek 13,

    this is most important:

    4) Now go to every installed file lesson - in total 6! - and insert this 2 files: Drum15.com and CRP32DLL.DLL

    5) Start on every file lesson the programm: Drum15.com... this means you must start this programm 6 times!

without doing this you will always get that error!

    Regards, jo

  11. Re: Drummond Geometry

Why are you installing it to your CD drive, just install it into your C drive :D

I tried to install it to my C drive and I got the same error message,

    "C:\Program Files\Drummond GeometryP&L Lessons 1-5\SETUP.EXE

    Attempt to access invalid address."

It doesn't matter from which directory I try to install the program, it seems the SETUP.EXE is trying to access something that is not valid. Has anybody else had this problem or have any ideas how to solve this please? [-O<

Well meek 13, let me explain you how I did it with success... :)

    1) put the extracted doc of the Drummond G all in your C:\ drive

    2) Open all Lessons (1-5, 6-10, 11-15, 16-20, 21-25 and 26-30) as administrator

    3) Be aware that lessons 26-30 will be installed in the programm files as: Ted Hearne Associates, Inc. All other lessons will be under the name: Drummond Geometry

    4) Now go to every installed file lesson - in total 6! - and insert this 2 files: Drum15.com and CRP32DLL.DLL

    5) Start on every file lesson the programm: Drum15.com... this means you must start this programm 6 times!

    6) After this restart Windows (I have Vista)...

    7) Now open on every file (6 of them) the programm SETUPEX.EXE as administrator

    8) When you finished restard anew Windows...

    9) Start with Drummond Geometry opening the P&L Lessons you want to study...

    10) Now don't forget you enjoy your lessons ;)

    Regards, jo

  12. Re: [system] Cluster indicator system and prototype EA

    http://goodies.mt4live.com/

the FXopen ECN level II here demo is the method that I test the cluster indicator on. I have the same position on my liteforex cent account test it as well.

Hi finimej, would like to install the cluster indi in my IBFX but I always get the info: pair is not available... any thoughts? any help? at the moment this is my broker... thanks in advance, jo

  13. Re: ISEA (Investiva Super Expert Advisor)

    To ALL,

This site was pointed out to me a few weeks ago. At that time I posted that we TheCollectiveFX do NOT want you all trading with us. I have no idea about the merits of what your EA does but we are not in the habit of letting our members down nor wish them to lose money. This I feel would be the result if you try and replicate your demo results in live mode. Seeing a signal is one thing, having the speed of execution and depth of market is quite another.

I posted several comments about this subject in my first and only post.

I do not care in the least about what you are trying to achieve with your own brokerage. Yet I am extremely disappointed that our site was copied verbatim. That shows bad manners, poor judgement and is indeed out and out plagiarism.

To "TheSecret", we have more dignity and respect than to care about your venture or to try and rubbish it. Indeed this is exactly what happened to us when we launched. However, we have had many emails, presumably from your demo traders, pointing out this act of plagiarism, so perhaps you should look closer to home before you lay this at our door.

I have no interest in being part of your debate, perhaps you could afford us the same respect and ensure that your venture is 'original' in concept and implementation and doesn't simply involve a copy and paste of our site.

    Gary - 4of7 @ TheCollectiveFX.com

Dear Gary, I see that you are extremely disappointed about the fact that your site was in some way "copied". I can understand your irritation and point of view. The best way to have dealed with this problem: Jacob send you his website and ask for permission to use some terms of yours... Maybe it is not too late and he could take some time to discuss this issue with you. On the other side I see that both projects are very similar and this brings of course come business competion into play - something very healthy in this forex jungle.

Now the fact is this: there are a lot of brokers outside there that most of us can't trust in. Your attitude towards this business has a very important aspect: some kind of morality, respect and dignity towards your traders, as you are also one of them, which is most important for such a business concept. I see that Jacob wants to establish in some way a similar concept.

We need more Collectives and JadeFX brokers, so the forex jungle could have some islands were morality, respect and dignity are part of the game. From what I can grasp about the History of our Western Economy: at the beginning in the 16. and 17. Century a.Chr. business could grow as an important part of society and in some way as a semi-autonomous institution putting away the moral attitude: people of any class, man and woman, jung and old, "natives" and "strangers" were now part of the economy. "Everybody" was now in a position to buy and sell. So, economy grew from a position that could be termed "without morality". Now since the 18. Century until our days "a-morality" in business has been a main core of economic attitude. But times change. With the globalization - first in economic affairs and one can trace this development to the 15. Century - moral, respect and dignity are now needed in economic matters. The example Obama give us the best illustration about this cahnge: Obama is trying to introduce some moral injections into the economic arena. And, as some of us know, George Soros, a champion in the forex arena, wrote a lot about the problem of an "a-morality" in our world economy: "George Soros on Globalization" (2002) or "The Crisis of global Capitalism" (1998). Of course Soros is not the only one... Maybe one of the most important economist today is the Nobel Price Winner in Economy, Amartya Sen: "Development as Freedom" (1999).

What I want to say is this: yes, we need more Collectives and JadeFX brokers with a sense of the importance of moral aspects in economic behaviour.

I do not see the "plagiarism" as dramatically as you see it. Maybe I do you wrong. Of course the irritation is understandable and the best way to come to and understanding should be to talk one and other. You and I think also Jacob, you need some kind of solidarity because of the similar attitudes. And we as a traders need also brokers with a moral attituted towards their clients. And times are now in this area difficult to survive. A lot of smaller brokerages are closing so the competition is becoming harder and harder. We need you and we need - as traders - similar broker enterprices.

I hope you both can speak to each other and reconcialate. And I think Jacob should beginn contacting you ;) .

    I wish you the best :)>- , with kind regards :) ,

    johan

  14. Re: ISEA (Investiva Super Expert Advisor)

    Hi gs21969,

there seems to be a mistake - jacob has nothing to do with sigmaforex. It was with the demo of sigmaforex that the ISEA made the enormous amounts we all saw. ISEA is a funy EA working only on a demo account. But a lot of traders were inspired by the possibilities this EA were offering us. So Jacob was one of these inspired traders... Maybe you could correct me but this is stil in my memory. By the way, I don't expect ISEA to work like it does - on the demo account of Sigma - on a demo account of jadefx aka jacob... but who knows? And yes, everyone of us must find "his" broker so he/she can trade with confidence... at least this is a most personal decision to be made and of course this means always some risk... but this is the way it is... And think about the following: because this market (forex) is deregulated (how long?) it gives what it gives... and this deregulation is also a negative aspect of forex: you can always get scamed... Look at the banks right now: you can have 1% to 2% in a year - at least here in Germany. Forex is highly risky, no questions, but also highly profitable... All things in life have two sides... Regards, johan :)>-

  15. Re: ISEA (Investiva Super Expert Advisor)

what else is someone who rips other site, thief then. Scammer. What? Not honest for sure. Not honest in forex is same as scam.

Look, the project of Jacob is very similar to that of The Collective - based on similar reasons. In my opinion there is no problem if you take some of the formulations of this broker... Just bear in mind that both enterprices are very similar... For me there is no problem... Besides you can go to the forum and express your opinion... of course you must argue in a form that has some common sense on your part... otherwise you wont achieve a believable position... so let us look more carefully how things develope - and maybe jocobs enterprice can become very interesting also for you despite your scepticim at the moment... what I think is understandable because of this wild business called forex... ;) regards johan

  16. Re: ISEA (Investiva Super Expert Advisor)

    Hi gs21969,

I was following the idea of Jacob and must say: it looks good... First: he offers a forum, there you can express your opinion... Second: you can look at his address and his tel.-number and maybe make a call... I fully understand you because there are a lot of scammers in this business... but we must also use the word "scamer" more careful... at least I do... If I would tell you how much I once lost in this business you would not believe me :( all in all I find the project of jacob something to think about... ;) Regards, johan ;)
