  1. Re: [system] Cluster indicator system and prototype EA

a bit confusing. where did you open the trade on the first chart? You said "first, I have get the sell signal, according to the method and indicator from the codebase links above, applied on EURUSD H4" but on the chart you said buy.

Did you open the trade when it said buy? If so, I presume you exited at the point where "first very weak sell" is shown on the second chart. There's around 300 pips.

  2. Re: REQ: forex derivative EA

    This is from 4xproject.com:

As we got informed there is an new version of derivative available. This new version has the possibility to lock a trade in profit. That feature reduces the number of possible loosing trades but will reduce the overall performance as well as the trades have less room to swing.

We got an explanation as well about the backtest section in the code of derivative. The expert advisor has initially be designed before the new hedging rule was in place.

To cover the new hedging rule even in backtest they added a code which some people claimed to be to fake the backtest. We took a look into the code and the activation date for that part of the code is 18.05.2009 which fits to the explanation.

what do you guys think of this "explanation"?

  3. Re: [Req] ISEA (Investiva Super Expert Advisor)

disbelij, not trying to be critical, but it's not just you who have invest time/effort to learn the trade and make things better. if you wish to share then please share. no need to say how much you have done to achieve it. have you seen anyone in this forum say something like yours before sharing their own codes?

anyway, thanks for your contribution. just tone down a bit, ok?

  4. Re: REQ: forex derivative EA

do you truely believe the EA has "complex" mathematical method to tackle the forex market, and the developer would use matlab to create such EA and charge only $97 per piece?

i have seen enough "snake oil" EA and their exaggerated claims and marketing ploys. unfortunately, the only way to find out is to buy a copy of their EA, which I think is a waste of our hard earned $.

i think the commercial MT4 EA market should have an independent body to assess and evaluate the performance of EA based on sound statistical methods... if the EA does not have the seal of approval no one should touch it!

    just my $0.02
