Nice trades syk1kz. Making some decent pips. Patience pays off.
My trading style has been more of a trend following approach off of trendlines with horizontal levels, but I'be been looking to start trading breakouts as well, since these often provide big moves.
Something I've been thinking about lately is to anticipate breakouts getting in before trendline breaks, when price action indicates higher high and higher lows or viceversa. Just like in your AUDUSD trade. Of course this is more risky, but also provides good reward to risk ratios.
I have a GOLD example from recent price action. How can I attach the image?

hi syk1kz, I just read all the posts in this thread. I will be a follower with interest since I also trade S&R.
Keep it up buddy.

this one looks interesting based on the backtests. it actually shows a system with positive reward to risk + high probability, around 50%+, meaning it is realistic. the other thing i liked it they show 5 year backtests for 4 currency pairs. it is probably not curve fitted and risk can be diversified.

awesome contribution dude. thanks so much.
what currency pairs have people found most profitable?

also by looking at strategy tester screenshots this is a scalper, and I'm pretty sure it will fail on a live account due to slippage like all the rest of them

oops. forgot to check on that. JDownloader doesn't notice :-)
Thanks man

This must be an account blowing martingale EA

ForexNexus, I would like to buy it. Would you be so kind to answer a couple of questions:
- When will it be available for sale again?
- Will it work on other currencies besides GU?
Thanks

Re: Super ADX and Trend Wave Indicator
I visually backtested several charts and noticed that all of the signals were against the prevailing trend, and bad ones as well. You will only lose money with this indi. It's a piece of crap.

Has anyone had live trades demoing with Birt's version?

Re: Forex God Father Version 2.0 + Elite Version + Elite Bonus !
My 2 cents on this EA plus a 4 year backtest link here... http://www.4shared.com/file/172537179/e3213bed/Godfather_EA_Back_Testing.html
1. Backtest results seem realistic. 55% wins with a 1.3 risk reward. This actually creates a smooth equity curve
2. It is not a get rich quick type of trading system. It trades only once or twice per week, which means you need to have patience.
3. It's broker friendly because it swing trades, definitely not a scalper and goes for up to 200 pips profits
4. Regarding the strategy it seems to be statistical, it bets on reversals and it is right more than half the time. So it's ok if your own technical analysis disagrees with the trades.
I'm using it in my live forex.com account since a couple of weeks ago and it is behaving as expected so far with a couple of wins and a loser.
My recommendation is to add it to our portfolios and complement it with other EAs to increase trading frequency. This is not a holy grail, but I believe it can survive various market conditions and be sustainable in the long term.

Re: Advanced Droid Tactics
i wonder what changed from MD version 1.11 to 1.2, so that ADT doesn't work anymore?

Re: PIPS MINER EA
thanks man! awesome!

Hi fellow traders, here's PipMax! EA from
h**p://www.pip*yard.com/
It is not blocked, in my opinion there is not enough documentation in the manual, and it doesn't backtest, so I couldn't reproduce a very good backtest shown in the sales page.

Hey guys, i don't think that paying this $250/month service will make people money. A big part of the good performance this guys has probably depends on trade management, discipline and psycology.
I haven't analyzed his trades in depth, but it seems like he finds strong support and resistance clusters, to base his trades on them.
I personally trade in a similar fashion, but holding on longer for more pips, and better reward to risk ratios, even though win% decreases as compared to the scalping approach. I find clusters in the 4H timeframe made up of horizontal levels, weekly pivots and trendlines. Go back a couple of weeks in the mayor currencies and find these levels, then study price action around them (pin candles, strong rejections, that type of stuff).
My advice is to study study study and practice practice practice and learn to do it by yourself, so that it lasts for a lifetime. If you haven't done so, start by going to www.nobrainertrades.com (brilliant S&R education) that explains the clusters concept. You can also study Chris Lori's stuff available in this forum (brilliant).
Don't spend you precious time looking for signal services or systems, rather develop your skills as traders.
