freddy got a reaction from BonsaiFX in What's the best trading system for a beginner?
    Jeff,
you are lucky enough to be a beginner and do not yet have been contaminated by the major flaw of many traders: the quest for the grail.

What I mean by that is that unfortunately many of us have sought and sometimes still looking for the new system, the new miracle indicator that will make them millionaires in a flash.

What a waste of time. (Unfortunately I lost myself a lot of time with the same flaws as some of those traders who form the community of this wonderful forum II)

Learn and read the ideas of one or the other is important, test, practice and seek with tenacity, the best way to trade is important.

The thing to say is that the recipe, the grail, do not exist. Do not fall into this trap.

You must think, "he mocks me, he is negative, bitter or stupid."

The chance you have of being "virgin" should instead allow you begin this journey into forex with faith and determination.

There are certainly many very good traders that can help you here.

If I personally had to give you advice, I'd say:

    Learn to "trade manually"
forget all the EA (99% are BS),
focus on the "Price Action" with the least possible indicator. (put "Price Action" in search engine to find threads)

The most important thing in trading is not the system, but Money Management.

Learn on demo how to use your trading platform, and to test your new strategies.

Trade your strategy with REAL money but with a micro account (1cent/pip) until you are able to double your account.

If you blow up your account, it won't damage your capital neither your psychology.

Gradually increase the bets until you find your "zone" of comfort.
Always know before pressing the button BUY or SELL, what you "agree" to lose by following the principles of MM.
Take this as a real job, certainly pleasant and fun, but not like a gameboy.

Well, I think others can advise you better than me, but know that I wish you the best possible success.

It is not as pretty as your 'half cercles' but it does the same job with vertical lines ;)

    Hi Bob,

concerning your trading, I am sorry for your losses, but first thing you should do is quit the forex market for a while,
take vacation or do something not related to markets.
Then come back fresh and ready to "work" hard on yourself (you are right about psychology, it is very important) and work hard to understand how the market moves.

    Remove indicators from your charts.
Learn Price Action and make your own set of rules (system)
Open a demo account to get to know your broker platform.
Open a real cent account and put only $50 or $100 and trade until you are able to double your cash a few times.
If you can't do it with cents you won't be able to do it if you put 10, 20 or 50k.
Then you will be able to put some more cash to match your needs for living.
Sorry to disapoint you but you won't find success if you believe in miracles or effort free trading methods.

Concerning your links, they ask for username and pwd, so cannot download them.
What country are they from? Romania?
The link I provided was not mine, I found it googling. I know the link was working but did not download the files as personaly I am not so much interested like I said in listening to all these cds.
Why do you need right now the other files dvd and textbook, use the audio files first and if it is so good, you will find a way to get the others and maybe even pay that C. Payne its fee)

Anyway, I wish you success in your quest.

If after this you are always in the same state of mind, you can say that after all, we no longer need to search for the best broker or to find the best trading system.

Or read that quote from Yale University biophysicist Harold Morowitz:

"... each living thing is a dissipative structure, that is, it does not endure in and of itself
but only as a result of the continual flow of energy in the system.... " "From this point of
view, the reality of individuals is problematic because they do not exist per se but only as
local perturbations in this universal energy flow."—Morowitz in Callicott 1989, 108
