  1. 68%... hmmm, not bad. Both the lite versions of Omni11 and Striker9 give an accuracy rate around ~75%, from what i've heard. Wish I could help you with backtesting on a real charting platform... i used freestockcharts a couple of times, but i think i'm stuck on Metatrader :P I found a script that helps to import real-time data from Google Finance into Metatrader, and I modified it to stream quotes from NASDAQ stocks. If you want, I could share it with you, or you could just simply google "NSE Stock Chart Realtime mq4" ;)
  2. hey c0py, thank you for upgrading my trial account! Appreciate it!! And if this helps, I have a brief testimonial for you (hope it doesnt sound cheesy)

"Trading with Power Levels makes things so much easier! It's incredible to watch the price bounce off those lines (give or take a few pips)... whether it's Forex or commodities. the accuracy of your Power Levels is uncanny!!"

  3. @ C0py : besides applying your Power Levels to forex pairs, I'm also very interested in trying out on Gold (XAU/USD). When I checked the levels on my mt4, it simply showed only Green lines... only supports or Buys?? Is that correct?? I'm inclined to think that it's fine for gold, expecially considering it's recent extremely bullish moves, but just wanna hear from you too about this... Please do reply when you can
  4. Hey napadad, that's great to hear! Finally, there's someone actively trading binaries on this forum! Found your B@nk3r11 Lite post below while typing out my reply, hehe... nice!

Besides all that, which BO broker are you with, napadad? Was considering opening an account with B@nc du B1nary coz their referral and deposit bonuses are around 50%, but I mite consider OptionBit and Anyoption too. I also learnt that the broker's lock-out time is critical for the success of systems like Str1k3r 9. Does the lock-out period matter for B@nk3r 11 Lite?

By the way, if you dont mind me asking, how long has it been since you started trading this system and what's the Accuracy% you've been able to achieve with B@nk3r 11? Also, what's your usual trading size per trade? ($10 or $50 or $100 or above?)

  5. Hi all, it's been a while since I've posted... have been looking into other areas of investment besides the Forex market, and Binary Options seem to be quite appealing, whether they be based on Forex or not. Amongst most of the popularly known systems in the BO world, Striker9 and Omni seem to be the major contenders. Take a look here:

    Striker9 Lite: hxxp://binaryoptionstradingsystem-striker9.com/binary-options-trading-system-striker9-light/

    Striker9 Pro: hxxp://binaryoptionstradingsystem-striker9.com/striker9-full-version/

    OMNI11 (Forex BO system) : hxxp://forexbinaryoptionsystems.com/omni11/

The Striker9 videos might be a little annoying because of the way the owner narrates, but the results of the Pro system look quite profitable. And the same goes for OMNI11, which focuses on Binary Option trading based on Forex. Unfortunately, both the Pro systems cost almost $3000, which is a lot of dough. I'm contemplating purchasing either one of these systems, but I wont be able to do it by myself... am asking a few of my friends and online buddies if they'd be interested to pool in to buy one of these systems together...

In the meantime, if anyone here has either of these systems and is willing to share, PLEASE do so! It'll save me and my friends a lotta money and we would be most grateful to the sharer :)

  6. I recently came across this website by Rick Ratchford:

     http://@[email protected]

    and also, this page:

    http://@[email protected]/MFS.html

Has anyone tried this system/strategy on the Forex market? Looks like it's based on cyclical trading and there are a lot of comparisons to Gann's methods, but not much more info other than that.

  7. @ musketeer & gigamax: Guys, I'm not able to replicate your errors. Nevertheless, I've included an additional check to try to make sure that orders are closed before the next one opens, but that's something that we'll only know for sure once you guys forward-test it again on demo, because nothing wrong happens during my backtests. If this accidental issue ever happens again (even though AllowSimultaneousTrades is set to false by default), then PM me immediately.

So, for now, please replace your copies of the previous v1.1 with this instead:

  8. Hi Gigamax, the EA was coded to retain the pending trade until it either actualizes or gets cancelled when an opposite order shows up. Will incorporate your idea next time...

    teknomage,

I've made a brief BT of the new version ,I noticed that the EA doesn't cancel the opened pending orders even if the price is not hit in the subsequent bar ; can you please check if is it true in your instructions ?

This may have a certain negative impact in the overall performance.

    Regards

  9. Thank you Jayman007 & grooter. Here's the latest version of the bot which I quickly modified last night to use Limit/Stop orders as suggested. It will also display the number of Limit/Stop orders, so that you guys can track the way it opens these non-market orders. Also, the robot now follows all the Entries, Re-Entries and Reversals as shown by the indicators. I'm not sure if the non-market orders should be modified as the levels of the Entries, Re-Entries or Reversals move (you can see how often these levels keep changing) but as of now, the robot only takes the first order suggestion and closes it at T/P, S/L or if an opposite order appears. If you want the trades to be move to break-even and all that jazz, then set FollowActiveStop to TRUE, coz the ActiveStops do behave that way.

Frankly, I dont feel this system is worth automating because there are too many conflicting signals. It might be better as a manual system, but I certainly dont think it's newbie-friendly, nor is it as easy to be profitable as the creators make it sound... Just my 2 cents

  10. @ Kappaforex, Gigamax, Musketeer and whoever else is trading this system manually successfully (sounds familar?)

Guys, I need to know the exact rules for Entry and Re-Entry for this system. There is no point in complaining about the EA (which is just a test EA, in the first place) when NO ONE on this thread has even once stated ALL the rules clearly, the way the system is supposed to be traded. We are making assumptions about what the other understands about the system, but that is not gonna help anybody or the EA for that matter.

And yes, the EA currently enters using market orders. I did not hear a single mention of using a STOP order in the video, which was my main source of education for this system. I am not a professional trader, so again, my assumptions were made from whatever material was available...

So, I am putting this question out there once and for all: PLEASE share the exact rules for the SST system. Keep in mind that the EA cannot see any valid values during the current candle. If you use any additional Money Management rules which are not part of the original system, you are welcome to share them as suggestions for future versions. But for now, let's just stick to the original rules of the system and keep it to the point...

  11. Thank you kappaforex. I hope to get this EA sorted out for all of us too...

Hi Traders and happy new year to all. Firstly i just came across this forum post. I trade the SST manually on TF 15 min charts, using pivot points, fibs and price action to determine whats happening on the markets. I also consider news releases, market reversals which occur in NY and London during their lunch time breaks. Another is to look out for is the stock market jitters which you will find a reversal around 3.00am EST and 9.30am EST before the equity markets open.

So knowing this information i can decide whether the trade the SST lines up will go with my plan. I also allow for spread costs when entering the trades guys. I have places the Quick trailing EA on my charts, with Break Even + 1 at around 8 pips, 50% trade taken at 10, and a trailer to let the rest ride if the markets tends that way. This is how i prefer to trade the system ensuring i get profitable trades with good MM.

I have run EA before blowing my accounts over and over again. The markets change far to rapidly for the EA's to adapt and change accordingly. I have seen EA been sold for $97 which has a SL = 500 pips and TP = 8 ===>>> ????? Which is total BS and all these internet affiliate marketers should be kicked off and blacklisted from the net.

If i had an EA making me money why on earth would you sell it to the public guys! So be careful with an EA as they will blow your account and take your undies as well.

In regards to this forum fantastic work to the programmer in the development of this EA. I have tested it live with small lots sizes on one of my accounts and have found it setting up trades wrong in comparison to the SST set ups on my charts.

I will try placing the latest SST indicators on my charts now to see if they are in correlation. Just to let you know im not a programmer, just a Forex Trader so please dont ask me to develop programs.

Hopefully we can work together to make some money and make 2011 a fruitful year.

  12. Gigamax, i coded this EA on a whim as a Xmas gift to this forum, if anyone here remembers. The EA was not MEANT to be RELIABLE to trade yet... i CLEARLY stated that it was for backtesting purposes only, to see IF it adheres to the system... and as for the rules of the system, i'm gonna bring that up soon

Hi kappaforex ,my results are relative to the manual SST ; the EA is not reliable.
  13. Hi Musketeer, thanks for posting the screenshots. As for the EA not following the rules, my question is : Where are the Rules?? I have always wanted to know the exact rules of entry and exit for this system. Since there seems to be no shared manual for this system, I just gathered whatever I could understand from the video that was posted on the first page of this thread and applied it to the EA.

@ all: Guys, please remember one thing I had stated earlier... the SST indicators DO NOT display crosses, stars or whatever on the CURRENT candle. They only show up on the candle AFTER it is completed. And this is exactly how the EA sees the values as well. There are no valid Entry or Re-Entry values for the EA to read during the current candle. It uses the values that it sees from the previous candle only and enters immediately based on what it sees...

    Hi Teknomage,

    Thanks for that :)

I've running it on 1 HR on several pairs, later today(or by first chance) I will attach screenshots of. But it does not trade by rules.

  14. Gigamax, it would be more helpful if you send me a screenshot of the chart when such an error occurs, particularly with the CalcLong and CalcShort indis on your chart... PM me with details of the trade. If you try backtesting for the same time period, does the same error occur at around the same time as when you started running the EA on the demo?

Hi teknomage, thanks for the ECN vers.

I've installed it right now on my EU 1H and it has immediately opened a short sell;the problem is that there are not sells showed by the SST indis.

The only sell is a SReentry (the one setted by the OSOB indi) @ 1.3091 but the EA opened a short at 1.3124; I don't know where it took this level.

A question : all my SST indis are setted to 4 digits : how to set them to 5 digits?

    Thanks
