pro, if you backtest for 10 years (I did because I bought it) you will se a very rocky equity curve.

seems the developer curve fit it from 2006/2008 to dd.

So, knowing that conditions change, it could practically bomb out tomorrow, figuratively speaking.

not saying it will, but i guess caution is due.

Pro - I have no problem with that. If it's your EA I respect it. I was more after the general discussion about progressive money management. I guess the accounts speak for themselves.

I have been following that guy's results for a while and even though he uses some kind of progressive positioning, many of his systems seem to not blowup. Don't you think that despite 99.9 % of progressive money management will bust accounts, it is still possible to have a system that can survive such a method? mods, if I am not allowed to post a link to the myfxbook account, please just remove the link. thanks. I don't advertise anything - just trying to debate the point of martingale vs safety.

I suppose myfxbook can be faked - but only if the broker is part of the scam.

All I said was that in my opinion, iticsoftware are not scammers - whether they have made any profitable EA's is another story altogether...

I highly respect your opinions and statements here, but please don't twist what I say or write;-)

I wouldn't say they are scam exactly.

 

Some tools and indicators they have work well such as their trade copiers and indicators for volume and more.

 

Of course this new EA needs testing to prove it's worth or lack thereof, but I can think of many other vendors who should be labeled as scammers before iticsoftware.

mike, you probably need help from Jade if you subscribe to a VPS that they operate.

First off, try to see if you can get Metatrader to run with administrator privileges. Try to contact Jade VPS staff about this ;)

sorry to disappoint you, but to me it looks like total scam.

100% winning trades should raise the first red flag to anyone who bothers to take a look. furthermore, not many banks and large investment funds use mt4 as their primary trading platform.

no true set-and-forget system can work indefinately in all market conditions. one that could qualify for long term profitability could _perhaps_ be hans123 but then again you can suffer 6-8 months of DD with that also.

the above are just my immediate impression.not saying it wouldnt work, but i wouldnt bite on it ;)

To answer some of the questions:

 

- The FRWC server is not contacted. For the EAs that are not completely unplugged, the authentication process is bypassed completely.

- I did it by staring hard enough at the asm code, I won't bore you with the details.

- If you see no files, you probably have a packer problem. Use WinRAR, it will ask you for the password. It won't work if you use Total Commander.

- You don't need any webserver or anything of the sort.

- I agree with what some people posted, the EAs are not particularly good.
