  1. I think execution time and slippage are the real problems for shark 7.0. I mean a 2 pip SL is great, and might work on demo, but on real accounts I have my doubt.

Yes, I agree. Seems that on the cancelled orders, they are all at 2 pips SL. However, on the opened orders, they are about 5 to 7 pips. looks like the EA re-adjusted the SL.

Their posted account is supposingly a live account.

let's see if anyone upgrades and posts results.

  2. New version of Shark available.

    http://www.forexeasystems.com/forex-expert-advisor-ea-shark/live-results

Has live forward tests as well and looks good

I know some mixed results from previous shark versions before in the past and some manipulation of data by the company.

Can anyone analyze their live results and see if more of the same, or are they on the level.

Has anyone upgraded yet and if so, tested live?

    regards

  3. Hey Guys... Does anyone have Pipsminer 2.0 EE (extended version) to post?

Here's the latest update on it from Metatrader247.com

    "Hello Everyone!

I want to talk to you briefly about the Pips Miner EA. You and I both know that I have a natural distrust of Expert Advisors, especially the big "scambots" that are released almost twice a week. They simply get annoying after awhile.

But sometimes we run into a gem... and Pips Miner was one of those. We've been trading this since early last fall with surprising success. Since I've seen so many systems do well for a little while and then crash, I simply kept watching it....

9 weeks ago version 2.0 was released and we set it up on 3 demo accounts. Pips Miner SE (EUR/USD only), Pips Miner EE (EUR/USD only) and Pips Miner EE (All Pairs). I want to share those results with you.

These accounts have traded since February 4th 2010 using the new 2.0 version. Counting only the closed trades (since open trades could still go either way):

    ~~**~~ EUR/USD ONLY ~~**~~

since February 4th trading .10 lots (no compounding).

    +$6,406 / 179 trades / 177 winners / +6,500 pips

That's OVER 128% in only 9 weeks of trading on a $5,000 account. Insane!

However, the All-Pairs account had mixed results. After studying them for a bit, I noticed some patterns. All of the EUR-based pairs did well while many of the GBP, JPY, and tight channeling pairs did poorly.

Looking at the results from the EUR/USD, EUR/CAD, EUR/AUD, and USD/CHF (which all trade very similarly to the EUR/USD), this is what I found:

    ~~**~~ FOUR PAIRS ~~**~~

since February 4th trading .10 lots (no compounding)

+$16,265 in 591 trades (563 winners) and 14,400 pips made since February 4th, in only 9 weeks of trading.

This is the only system I've found that has worked this long. Our testing for Pips Miner started back on September 9th 2009 with version 1.4, but the results since February 4th 2010 with 2.0 have been even better.

If you're looking for an EA to diversify your trading with, this is the one. It's not cheap (249 euros, approximately $340US) but if it keeps doing as well as it always has, it should pay for itself quickly.

  4. Re: Accurate Scalper system

im gonna get going with this stuff, possibly make an EA out of it...

on the first page.. the download, that includes the latest files?

    Thanks Corrupt and Scarface

Really appreciate your effort and time on this EA

Yes everything is included in the first post.

You may want to read thru the original postings from the Forex TSD site, as there's some technical stuff there that was discussed and may be useful for you on the programming side.

Please let me know if you need any input from me.

    thanks

  5. Re: Accurate Scalper system

Got tied up today so could not spend much time at the PC...but managed to put in 2 for 2 on the GU

if you look at the time stamp. both trades from open to close TP around 15 mins or less.

I'm using the adattiversi display NB only on these two trades. waited patiently for the left number to reach -10 and then opened SELL. set my SL 15 and TP10 and thenlet the trade run.

  6. Re: Accurate Scalper system

Does it work at a lower time frame like 5 min?

    Recommend time frame is M15

it's been tested at H1 with poor results.

If you read thru the original posting there was someone trading on M5, overlapping the bells from M5 and M15 with good success.

He also modifed the indicator for M5.

    thanks
