So Oan doesn't even respect people who paid 3.000 $ ??? That's not very professional !

I have talked about the free forum, not the member's area. I did not purchase his system. I was thinking about it, but the price seems to change 2-3 times a week. 2 days ago it was $100/month without membership, today morning $200/month without membership, and now it is $300/month with membership. I simply don't understand Oan's marketing policy (if he has any).

I still think the system is good, and I am grateful to him for publishing the original ideas and lots of the free systems. But I do think he handles his free forum and the prices very badly.

Oan's forum is very heavily moderated. I saw day by day posts vanishing. I asked him once a question about a trade, he answered like 'you took that trade in a wrong time as the oantimer was not oversold'. I said 'thank you, maybe that was the case' and next day the whole thread disappeared. He even deletes his own posts. He said once to a poster that he should buy the system for a lifetime because then he can sell it to his friends, and after a few hours the question and this post was nowhere.

All uncomfortable questions will be deleted, and the uncomfortable posters will be banned from Oan's forum :(

It looks like the results are broker dependant. On FXOpen the backtests looks like better.

I saw the 'signal' too but did not take that trade as it was obvious that the market situation is not normal after that long candle caused by a news release yesterday. For the same reason I did not take any CHF positions in the 1-2 days after the interest rate cut last week. You have to use your brain too, not only the indicators :)

BTW currently I have winning positions with GBPCHF and USDCAD and a small loser with CADCHF.

It looks like Oan continues the 'new version released in every two weeks' policy he started on FFactory.

The good news is that the price is reduced from $15000 to $1000. I guess nobody paid $15000.

The last system was told to be 100% accuracy. And the new is even better. Is it 200% then? ;)

also for the live account, are you using the default risk 50? do you have any big drawdowns?

The backtest was run with the default settings, so risk was 50 I guess.

The live account is running with risk 50 and apply 0.1 lot sizes as it is the minimum on my broker.

There was not especially big drawdowns yet. In the last days it lost $50 (equity was 350 now 300) but as I said 1 week means nothing. We will see the real performance after a few months.

Live account max. dd is 17.5%.

I am not sure what do you want to know exactly.

Both are written by the same author. YourLucky is free. You will get Thunder4WD only after you send him some money.

Thunder4WD is supposed to be better, but YourLucky is used by more trader therefore there are more info and tips in the TSD forum.

I run some backtests with the default settings (EURGBP M5) and here is the summary:

2009.01.01 - 2009.03.07 YourLucky made $1547 from $1000, Thunder4WD made $7070.

2008.01.01 - 2009.03.07 YourLucky made $7014 from $1000, Thunder4WD made $491 590.

A small difference, eh? :)

A have been running Thunder4WD on my LIVE account for a week and it made $300 from my $200. 1 week means nothing though.

Fortunately it was demo only. This week started good but this CHF interest rate cut stopped me out from many CHF positions.

I use the original timer indicator.

According to Oan, the first trade must have 300 pip stop loss (H4 chart). The second must be opened with double sized lots if the price moves against us with 100 pips (pending limit order), with the same sl and tp levels as the original trade. If the price moves against us 100 pips more, then another order must be placed, same sl, same tp but 4x lot size. The tp is the middle grey line.

The fibo pivot indicator is attached.

Thanks so much for posting this. But I can't get the Cobra indicator to display on the chart. When I drag it onto the chart, the setting window appears, but when I click to clos the settings window, the Cobra indicator doesn't appear :?:

I don' think this answers your question, but the Coral indicator does not appear on M1 for me, just on M5. (And I don't know why.)

No problem but the real thanx is to Kardel Sharpeye and JamatL because without them I could not share it and I did not get any manual the timer shows oversold on 3 levels so it is best to buy at green solid line and sell at blue solid line and when the timer is reading overbought or oversold to the third level when I trade I open first position from first solid line and if it goes to the second solid I will take 2 more positions from there as long as the timer is oversold at least 2 levels. Just post your questions and I will answer you the way I use this system check out my statement on the first page and tell me what you think. :arrow:

dirtydan: yes I have checked your statement and it was what turned to my attention to this system, as it looked like really good! I even loaded it to an Excel table to analyze it. I am not sure why, but there were some duplicated trades at the same time like this:

Maybe it was when the price touched the second solid line? But both was in the same minute. Anyhow, after I removed the duplicates and calculated the pips, the result was that you gained 1982 pips during the 2 weeks from 21/01 to 05/02, and only 1 trade was a (minor) loss! :shock: If this system is able to perform like that, then it could be the Grail :D

Regarding the money management, to be true I think you took too large positions by trading 1 full lot for a $5000 demo. Maybe it was testing only, with a live account I definitely would not do that. Even Oan recommended small lot sizes in the Factory thread, especially because of the Martingale-like position adding.

first, I want to say thank you, because this system looks like very interesting, and without you maybe I would have never checked it as - unfortunately - the Factory thread is in the recycle bin now.

May I ask you: did you get any manual with the paid system? If yes, would you share it with us?

I wonder, how should we use the lower indicator (oanfxtimer)?

And which is the best time frame: is it work only H4 as the first Oan system, or on any time frame?

I was reading up on forexfactory and I think it needs a dll file if someone can get a copy great

I have downloaded the official trial version from the author's commercial site and it does not contain any dll:

The Factory topic contains lots of setups. I still did not finish reading the whole topic but the first 3-4 setups also does not contain dlls. Later they really speak about a dll but I think it is for another kind of setup. It is the newpro1501.dll I have it and if you want it I will upload to somewhere :)

I am testing the official trial indicators, and the oanfxtimer does not refresh either. It looks like it is a programmer error, and not a decompiler error.

BTW there is a thread on ForexFactory for this system, or rather the previous versions of this system as it started as free before the author decided to make it commercial. I just started to read it, there are a lots of applause. Interesting.
