I did rename it to adaptive rsi. Still reading as 0.19. What am I doing wrong??

I read something interesting by Van Tharp. Him and Tom Basso did a study where they basically flipped a coin to determine buy or sell. They did this I think over a few hundred trials and with the proper position sizing were able to make it profitable. So if money management can make a 50/50 system profitable, then imagine a system with a positive expectancy. That's why they say that position size is far more important than any indicator. Just use an entry that makes sense, be consistant, and use proper position size. Of course, we always love to look for the Holy Grail (when in fact it's money management).

I guess my list of indicators under the Custom Indicators is so large that everytime I add a new indicator, I can't use the last one in the list.

Is there a way to clean up the custom indicator list by deleting indicators I no longer use. Thanks

Tried all settings including red. No trades at all. Look at thr bright side, at lease thre's no drawdowns.

I checked out the Firebird discussion on Forex Factory. Talk about confusing. There are quite a few threads on this topic, each with over 100 pages. I thought I'd try the latest Firebird ea out, but couldn't figure out what the latest was.

Now I find out that Forex Maestro has an "advanced" edition whatever the hell that that is.

I have to admit though that I'm demo trading the copy provided here (thank you so much) and it actually seems to work well (knock on wood). I lowered the SL from the insane level of 300 to 120. We'll see how this works.

This is so damn frustrating. It's been 3 days and no trades. I have the ea on 6 different 30 minute charts. I don't have a 1 hour, or day day chart up as indicated in the manual. Is this necessary?

Also, when I hit the "load" button to select orange, red, or yellow, the "pre-set" box comes up, not the "created" box as indicated in the manual. Does this make a difference?

Anyways, I'm anxious to get this thing going. I'm using Alpari UK for my mt4 platform, and using a demo account.

Any suggestions??

Thanks for your response. I'm testing out the ea on a demo account that has $5000. Can I still use the recommended orange setting for this. I reduced the risk from 20 to 5. Is this ok?

I noticed the Set files in the download and placed them in the MT4 "preset" file folder found under Experts. Is this correct.

I also made a new chart, and minimized it so the writing isn't a problem. Thanks again.

Thank you so much for sharing this ea. I placed it in my chart but had 2 questions:

I don't get a window that allows me to choose the orange, or the other 2 colour setting. When I hit the Load button under the inputs tab, that option doesn't come up as you indicated.

How can I get rid of the writing on the chart. I have multiple charts up for other things, so all this writing pretty much covers up all the chart.
