  1. Forgot where I got this but if you haven't seen it, I highly recommend you do! It is Trading with Support & Resistance and the author did an excellent job with his explanation:

    http://www.mediafire.com/?w4381gwd1apzdcz

My methodology is pretty darn good, but this has me looking at trading in a whole new light. I plan to incorporate many of his suggestions...

    Enjoy!

Link already not work, anybody can share new link?

  2. can anyone guide me this code within eakain edu?

within "VIOD S0()" there is a portion that stated:-

    if (!isOrderBuy(MagicNumberS0) && AproBuyS0(gd_396, gd_404, gi_280, bid, DoubleToStr(0, 0)) == 1) ApriS0(1);

    if (!isOrderSell(MagicNumberS0) && AproSellS0(gd_396, gd_404, gi_280, bid, DoubleToStr(0, 0)) == 1) ApriS0(2);

there are using bid's for both long and short.... it is suppose to be "bid" & "ask" for buying and selling?

    Hi leonfoo,

Logically you are correct, but is seem that is part of optimization this EA.

Last time I have tried change that bid to ask, and result is bit different and worse compare to original.

But off course you can try update by yourself and do backtest, cause different broker can give different result.

    Regards,

    Benz

  3. My trades are opened in 23-24 for 3 weeks (I'm in Hungary, so my time is same as you), but yesterday night kain not opened trade, but today at 13h it opened usdcad. That's why I asked that maybe Kain gone mad. Although I'm happy with 35$ profit, but I think I have to monitor or recently restart my kain, because it can lost the thread.

    Hi Krizsi1,

Are you using Auto GMT offset or manual?

If Auto, maybe have problem with your broker server time that make auto calculation incorrect.

That is why I suggest better use manual GMT offset, and even better if you do backtest with + and - 1 hour than suggested by auto gmt_offset and see which one give better result.

    Regards,

    Benz

  4. Thank you very much.

I posted an answer already, but the forum somehow is blocking most of my postings.

There is a nonsense message like "your posting must first be approved by a Mod".

Makes me sick, because I never know if I write a message in vain or not.

CMIIW, if you put any link at your post, your message will wait approval from moderator.

(this to protect our forum from search engine)

So you should change the link a little bit like change a with @ or http with hxxp etc.

    for example:

    hxxp://[email protected]/file/AinH-c8Q/trinos-V.html

Or you can also use Html tag [C0de] your link [/C0de]

    (Note: Change 0 with o)

  5. Only a single trade today, a UJ for 50 pips. I'll take it ;)

A new 'error' msg on several of the CHF pairs like: 2010.08.05 19:57:02 EAKAIN SCALPER PRO 2010 v1.05_NEW EURCHF,M15: Spread Over the Limit! - Actual Spread:45.00000 - Spread Limit:40.00000

on the Experts Tab. I don't quite understand those numbers...

That's mean your broker is widen the spread, and EAKain protect you from this widen spread due to potential loss.

Better not open than loss right?

    Regards,

    Benz

  6. hey guys, do you trade kain on high impact news, or it is better to shut it down for that time? thanks

Basically EAKain is run after US session finish and before asian session open, so actually this period is almost have no impact from news, since most news normally have maximum effect 4 hour before and 4 hour after.

But sometime big news like NFA , the effect can be whole day, but this very seldom.

Just do backtest and see if how is impact of the news.

Off course if you run JPY pair better stay out on high impact news for JPY currency.

But since I'm only run EURUSD, EURCHF & USDCAD, I just leave EAKain run.

    Regards,

    Benz

  7. Last night EAKain hit take profit target for EURCHF (22pips at Liteforex)!!

While on other broker (GallantFX) EURCHF get 2.2pips profit & 1.8pips loss

(Last EAKain hit the target is for EURUSD with 26pips on Liteforex at 21 July 2010,

while on GallantFX only get 0.9pips for EURUSD)

Seems EAKain is better on fix spread broker (as long not get re-quote & slippage :)))

since now broker tend to increase spread at asian session.

    Success for all,

    Benz

  8. The euro Sudden drop, lost big.

When a strong trend of these EA loses power

Agree with you, all Asian scalper EA will fail on strong trend.

Usually trend is begin before Asian session begin, that's why GMT offset setting is very crucial, and I'm always suggest to use manual GMT offset, since by using auto GMT offset is potentially late close by 1 hour which is risky due to will meet with Asian session.

BTW which pair are you having loss and are you using auto GMT offset?

Because today both on Liteforex and GallantFX don't have any open trade from EAKain.

BTW I'm play with EURUSD, EURCHF & USDCAD and use manual GMT offset (2 for Liteforex and 0 for Gallantfx)

    Regards,

    Benz

  9. Hi Benz - Interestingly, the EA seems to hang on one of the MT installations I have but not another. Looking through the DLL, it seems to be searching for an open MetaTrader window. Tried closing only the one I wanted to use, however did no good.

Anyway, I have backtested this with default settings on EURGBP/15m and the results seem quite erratic - certainly nothing like fx4_ever's graph! 26% draw-down although a good win-rate of 70-80%. Equity graph makes a nice run followed by hefty losses that gradually whittle down the account.

Best pair for EAKAIn right now are EURUSD, EURCHF & USDCAD.

and make sure GMT offset is right, just try play set autogmt_offset to false and adjusting manual GMT offset additional +1 and or -1 from offset you get from autogmt_offset, and see which setting is the best.

    Regards,

    Benz

  10. @vikram88

Actually that is what the EAKain developer did :)

But remember this is depend on your Broker regarding DST setting.

My suggestion the best this is do your own backtest, and see which is best GMT_Offset

    @bigdir

I'm not really sure about your problem, that probably problem with your metatrader or your antivirus/antispyware.

As per statistic already more than 500 people already download V104 and so far nobody feedback like what happen to you.

Maybe you can try reinstall your metatrader with latest version and try again, and make sure you are login with administrator right.

    @Rex68

Yes you are right, default spread is the maximum spread that safe use with EAKain.

You can reduce it to make even safer but you will lost chance of potential trade (and off course potential lost :) )

BTW off course it's depend on your trading style.

    @fx4_ever

Nice back test, better than my backtest at Liteforex :)

But remember in real trade, is very difficult to get that, since spread will increase during Asian session due to high demand, while on fixed spread broker they will play with re-quote with same reason high demand :)

    Goodluck for all

    Benz

  11. Irada,

Did You see difference between 1.04 and 1.05 version, if true, what?

    Thanks!

Actually the different is only for AutoGMT_Offset, they put correction factor for DST calculation.

But for me, I'm still prefer use manual for GMT offset.

For trading method is the same, if you backtest both of them will give you same result.

BTW, till now I'm still use V104.

    Regards,

    Benz

  12. EAKain 1.05 education works well but keeps checking for licence

The first educated version of version had the same problem until benz educated it again to remove this

Can someone do the same for 1.05

    hi girlie,

apologies, just to clarify.. i don't really see the spread limit field.. or you were referring to another field within the EA?

    Much thanks!

    Here it is my friend,

Annoying message already fixed and add possibility to control maximum spread

    Remember:

    - No need to change on fixed spread broker :)

    - Never change the spread higher than suggested or risk blow your account

    - Lowered spread more safe but less open trade

Don't forget to put EAKAINv1.05-bnz.dll at your Metatrader library directory to run properly.

BTW, when I'm upload v105, I just realized that v104 already download 643 times!!!

  13. Hello, "EAKAIN SCALPER PRO 2010 v1.04 bnz" made about 100% profit in the last 3 months on my TadawulFX demo account in the agressive mode, 20% risk and using the 4 pairs EURUSD, USDCH, USDJPY, USDCAD. TadawulFX is a 4digit broker with fixed spreads. In addition I test it on a CollectiveFX demo account. CFX is a 5digit STP broker. EA made about 45% profit in the same time with same settings and is doing much less trades than the one on TadawulFX. Does anybody has an idea why this is the case ?

EAKain is very spread sensitive, it won't open any trade if spread is enlarge larger than what EA has limited for protection from loss,

that's why this EA more trade on fixed spread broker.

In my experience, running on Liteforex & GallantFX also show that Liteforex (fixed spread broker) open more compare with GallantFX (STP broker).

    Regards,

    Benz

  14. Which broker? Which timefrime? Maybe you can share you settings with us?

    For Broker setting:

Liteforex with AutoGMT offset off and set GMT offset to +2

GallantFX with AutoGMT offset off and set GMT offset to +0.

    Regarding pair setting I'm set:

    EURUSD MM=30 Agressive=True

    EURCHF MM=30 Agressive=True

    USDCAD MM=30 Agressive=False

If you are not risk taker better set MM to 10 with Aggressive=False.

EAKain will give more accurate with Aggressive=False but with less open trade.

    Regards,

    Benz

  15. Hello Guys,

Please share your most trusted EA for live accounts.

    Fxprofits

For me EAKain, slow but sure :)

    http://indo-investasi.com/showthread.php/4118-What-do-you-think-about-EA-KAIN?p=61696&viewfull=1#post61696
    [/Code]

But even designed for 7 pair, I only run with EURUSD, EURCHF & USDCAD (this three give best performance).

This EA is spread sensitive (but ok since this EA have spread protection system) and GMT offset sensitive.

Must make sure GMT offset is correct according your broker GMT offset or you will get bad result.

    Regards,

    Benz

  16. @Benz, are you running it with MM settings or fixed lot and would you recommend the cents (lite) account or the real account for SIGTrader?

    Hi Hatchsead,

I'm running EA Kain with MM set to 30 for EURUSD, EURCHF and USDCAD.

(Agressive mode on for EURUSD and EURCHF and agrressive mode off for USDCAD).

I'm only have micro account on SigTrader so I can tell you about normal one.

But the key for success with EAKain is lower spread, the problem is normally Broker with low spread is enlarge their spread during Asian market. That's why my account on GallantFX that normally lower spread compare with SigTrader sometime fail to open position due to reach spread limit, and sometime even close with small lose due to spread enlargement during close position.

And just remind even EAKain have failed at May period (most Asian Scalper like Shocker, Primeval also hit SL at this period) seems like strong trend from US market time continue to Asian Market time. Fortunately this lost is recovered within 2 month.

It's better if anybody in this community find out the way filtering out EAKain from strong trend.

    Regards,

    Benz

  17. Hi CW2, which is your eakain gmt shift on sig liteforex ? +2 or +3 (1 hour dst added) ?

    Hi Acosma,

For Liteforex better set Auto GMT off and set GMT Offset manualy to +2.

Basically EAKain is designed to run 22-23 GMT for EURUSD, EURCHF, USDCHF, USDCAD, USDJPY & GBPCHF only EURGBP is run from 20-23 GMT.

Actually at those time is usually no big trend due to almost end of US session while Asian session not open yet.

Autralia is GMT+8 (open at 8.00) and Japan is GMT+9 (but open at 9.00)

That is the reason all EAKain trade is avoid after 23.00 because usually when Asian session begin at 00.00 GMT or 08.00 Autralia time and 09.00 Japan Time price will start trending that dangerous to scalper EA that mostly design run with counter trend method.

In case of Liteforex, their server time is GMT+2, and remember they not implement DST.

While if you using Auto GMT automatically time will adjusted with DST or become GMT+3 (since DST is use from march to october), in this case potentially your opening trade will late by 1 hour or opening near 00.00 GMT or open right before Asian market begin.

If you lucky still can get small win or cut will small loss, but at worst case can hit SL easily.

    Regards,

    Benz

  18. Here it is... 4shared.com/file/245229508/6e715ef3/EAKSP-V104bnz.html

    Thanks Benz!

    You are welcome Astarfleir.

Glad can give contribution to indo-investasi community, since I have learn many thing this in this community

BTW agree EAKAIN is one of best scalper, but be aware of strong trend time (happened on may 2010)

seem most asian time scalper EA (like EAKain, Shocker, Primeval) have problem or big loss at that time.

If anyone can found best filter to detect strong trend then put and match with EAKain, I thing this EA will run even better.

    Regards,

    Benz

  19. I agree with raw it depends on combination of ea broker and settings.

xxl205 why on EURUSD, USDCAD and EURCHF GMT+1 not +2 ? you choose this based on backest or live results ?

Anyway maybe it's better only on alpari this custom gmt because i use eakain on other broker and it goes well on those pairs with default gmt.

    Hi Acosma,

You are correct, the important thing is broker GMT time not our local time, since time execution is base on broker time server.

Actually the problem with auto GMT offset was adjustment of DST (Daylight Saving Time)

every year from march to october that make GMT offset will add by 1, while not all of broker use DST rule.

Like Alpari normal time offset was 1 with adjustment DST become 2.

This make trading time is late by 1 hour, that potentially meet with Asian market start to move fast (trending) while this ea is design to do scalping on non trending time.

If you try do backtest, it is show clearly by add GMT Offset by 1 hour (from correct one) will give you different story :)

(BTW auto offset will not work in backtest, you must set GMT offset manually)

Till today I still run with EAKain on SIGTrader with offset 2 (instead of 3) and GallantFX with offset 0 (instead of 1).

In term of result, this EA is run better on SIGTrader (fixed spread) compare with GallantFX, since this EA is very spread sensitive.

    Regards,

    Benz

  20. Hi Stock,

I haven't try on ECN broker, but have try it on Gallant FX which is STP broker (almost same which ECN).

Winning ratio slightly better compare with market maker, but since this EA is spread sensitive, make this EA less opening trade on float spread broker compare with fixed spread broker.

    Regards,

    Benny
