Like most of us, I have been watching the forward test for this EA over on Forex Peace Army. Last night I decided I was going to buy it. At the last moment, I decided to read the reviews that have been submitted by various users on that forum who have already purchased it.... and I was surprised to see that they scored it 1 out of 5. Most of them are applying for refunds.

That forward test is actually hosted by the developers, so I am wondering how much manual manipulating they are doing to prevent losses from appearing on the forward test. People who have purchased and used it live have lost money.

So, I didn't buy it. I'll watch it a little longer. If anyone here is using it on a live account for a couple of weeks or more, would you mind sharing your results with us all?

I saw a comment on another forum that compares Cloverix to FAP Turbo because it's a scalper running on 2 of the same currencies at the same time (Asian session).

Does anyone know if this is true? Could it just be a repackaged version of FT?

Beginners tend to not think about leverage at all. They open trades and pay attention to their profit or loss. But leverage has an impact on margin, right? Which can have an impact on an account with only a small balance. I think new traders are more likely to have margin calls on accounts with high leverage because they risk too much.

One of the biggest things you need to do is learn how to handle losing trades.

It is going to happen. You have to accept them and move on as quickly as possible. Losing is part of trading. If you cannot do this, then you will expect to win every trade. And as a trader who expects to win every trade, you will then stop being willing to take risks.

I have been watching this over on ForexPeaceArmy with all of their forward tests. I know that creators of EAs are giving FPA free versions and are also working very closely with that site because they want their demo results to be the best compared to other robots. On 18 August this had a huge hit, over $10,000. I would not trust this until they get their RR ratio worked out. A robot should never have one big loss wipe out weeks and weeks of good results. IMHO. :o

I don't have this but I have been watching the results over on ForexPeaceArmy. The creators are working closely with that site because they know many people are watching the results. But in spite of that, the robot had a $10,000 loss this week. I would suspect that the RR ratio is unhealthy because one bad trade wiped out 11 weeks of good trades. And that is with what is probably the latest version.

I understand that there was a bug which caused the SL to not work properly, causing significant loss on 5-decimal brokersi. I would not run any older versions.

the forex peace army test has been running for about 60 days.

Results:

E/U $10,330 wins. $9,840 losses.

G/U $3,619 wins.

Their Alpari account is up about $4,100 on a $5K starting balance which is good for 2 months. I have noticed that multiple robots have had a hard time with the E/U since July 1.

I totally agree that this should not be used live at this time. Last week it ended up making only 2 pips of profit for me. X-(

The week before was a total loss. Over about 10 weeks, it has doubled itself, but still lost a lot of money recently.
