Klod, my guess is that donnaforex had the risk set way too high. I am not saying that Winalot is good or bad. To be up more than 40% in three days is...the way to go broke in ten days. My guess is that the risk setting was off by a factor of 10. I am just as curious as the rest of you as to how it performs when set properly.

Donna wrote that the Winalot have wipped her account, last week, so take care.

Thanks a lot for sharing the modified system, but have you considered adding martingale feature to the expert so in case the trade is lossing it goes for another position to subtitute the losses??

I think the recovery mode work like it says. Martingale can be a little danger, but if you run a backtest youll see that rarely occurs more than one loose.

It can be a good option, but if you run multi pairs it can be dangerous.

If you want, you can force the GMT to trade the last three days of the month

 

For example, i am currently only trading Megadroid for trade GMT + 6 so currently I have the MD GMT set at 56 to trick it into thinking it is trading on the 27th July

We all know that backtesting is not 100% certain for neither good nor bad results.

But I think that Megadroid is having some trouble since july,2008, at least in eurusd pair.

And since this new pro version can be suitable for other pairs usdcad is having some trouble too.

Are you having the same results?

The eurgbp backtest is ok, and looks profitable in this period. The same occurs with eurchf.

I´d like you to test these too eurusd and usdcad, since july,2008.

I think NFA will cause more problems than solve the problem with this "forget about hedging" rules, but thank God we have good option EA´s, and of course this blessed forum.

I have backtested most of the EA's on here on several brokers and still the only ones that have passed my tests are fap turbo (I run this on EURCHF only), Megadroid, and Robominer.

 

If I come across any more EA's that pass my tests (RR and strike rate that makes mathematical sense after spread, positive every year from 2001 to present) I will post here after testing live.

I completely agree with you. Maybe in exception of fap turbo, since it wiped out mine an my father´s dead last january.
