Thanks for sharing your strategy using Renko bars. I would like to clarify... the channel direction. On the chart posted on 10-22-2010 09:02 AM. At the point of entry the channel is flat and not down. How do you decide that it is down?

The condition B is incorrect from my understanding. You need to check if any of the 5 bars from setup is < LL3 Prior to that low bar.

Also LH5 is not correct. This is the Lowest High of last 5 bar. From what I see your code does not do this .. it gives the High [LL5 Bar].

Condition C is also not complete or correct.

I am correcting the code and testing all the conditions on the charts.

Excellent logic seems to be as per the rules. Busy checking the rule expecially the complex ones, like condition be which I think don't match the actual rule. Will let you know if no one else does.

You must have capital to trade forex otherwise forget it. You must have the proper education otherwise forget it. You must be willing to learn and mold your life as a trader. There are plent of ebooks in this forum to start learning the basics and build from there. Depending on your time availability, capital availability, and personality you must choose a trading approach and style.

I have gone through the ups and downs of trading learning for the past 8 years. Lost tons of money and went through tons of courses.

I have finally learnt how to trade !!!

First you must understand your personality. What type of trader you are.

Then which style of trading matches your personality... some like indicators, others just price action etc. Find what fits your personality.

Money Management is key.

Clear trading system with clear rules to remove emotional trading.

Clear entry and exit signals is a must.

and Patients to wait for correct entry as per your rules.

Forex is not a get quick rick scheme but an exceptional business if you get it right.

Scaliping requires a scalping mindset. Use strong support and resistance areas with limit orders and small take profit targets. Also spead under 3pips. The trading style must match onces personality otherwise it will never work!
