As far as strategy goes 99% percent of the stuff out there is useless junk which simply will not work no matter how effective your money management & how disciplined you are, so personally I disregard all vendors, system sellers, gurus who do not provide an audited trading statement, in my time I've just seen three who've done this
 
-Mark Larson had a handout of his trading results
-Chick Goslin had it on his website
- John Grady, when he first started out he had uploaded his tax returns for 650k (I saw it myself but it could have been income from a source other than trading .... so not completely sure)
 
If anyone has personally seen others I'd be interested to know
 
Some exceptions to the above rule would be
 
- Mark Fisher of The Logical Trader because hes a well known pit trader
- The Market Wizards because none were interviewed without Jack Schwager verifying their brokerage statements
- Possibly Andrea Unger because of his publicly available track record
- Possibly Kevin Davey because of his publicly available track record
- Possibly Steven Dux as reviewed by Emmett Moore (but I'm not certain as Moore himself has a shady past)

Fact of the matter is most trading systems simply do not work, what I mean to say is they do not have positive expectancy, it doesn't matter how disciplined you are and what your personality type is if you trade them you will lose, stop loss & position sizing wont matter either, you'll lose all your money anyway with or without them, you'll just lose at a slower rate if you use them but the final outcome will be the same ........
 
Ask yourself ..... most educators / system sellers have dozens & dozens of anonymous testimonials or simulated results on their website but you'll rarely if ever see an actual trading statement let alone an audited one .... why is this?
 
There are very few exceptions to this, so don't waster your time reading books on strategies, sure you can read about psychology, position sizing, discipline etc .... but very very few books on strategies actually work

This is what i meant sharing ideas and helping each other.
 
Trading is not easy- its actually very tough , you can study and learn, watch all the videos and seminars, read all the books and you will still lose.
You need to develop a sight, an instinct, a sixth sense.
You need to spend hundreds and thousands screen hours and only then when you look at a chart you dont just see the bars- you see a meaning, you see a direction, you see every turn without the need of indicators.
 
Starting a trading room sounds like a nice idea but i dont have the time for that.
 
What I promise is that I will try to give you guys a glimpse into some trading methods and aspects here in this thread.
but on one condition-
I hate talking to the walls, and there is nothing more frustrating than spend hours on explaining something and getting no feedback at all.
Do not hesitate to say anything, you CANNOT piss me off so be truthful and say whats on your mind.
I want to see participation from all of you.
Next week I will show you how to scalp very easily without any complicated rules or sophisticated method.
 
Another thing i expect from all of you is to reciprocate and share your ideas also here.

Since MetaTrader5 (MT5) Now Available for Futures Trading at AMP, should we create dedicated thread for this new platform for Futures trading rather than mixing it generic MT4 thread for Forex/CFD? Any thoughts and suggestions ?

I 'm agreeable with you statement particularly on MT4 platform. But not for MT5 platform ! If you studied carefully, MT5 on futures done on regulated exchange.

The dll was educated long ago and I forgot by whom (thanks to whoever it was).
I have uploaded the system's educated dll file and you need to first close NT7 and copy it to your bin/custom directory.Restart NT and just do a general compile (F5).It Will work for both 32 and 64 bit NT7
There are many highly intelligent traders at Indo and I am sure you will have no problems in understanding the advanced indicators in the Nindicator comprehensive toolset.
