Wanted to know if anybody know anything bout these guys. They seem to be from Cyprus. Seems like you can trade both forex and asian index.
They advertised that forex spread at 2 and index spread at 5. Not a bad deal, but I wanna to know if I start making money, will they start messing around with my accounts?

Re: The End of Retail Forex in USA?
If they really want to protect the clients, how about forcing every broker to have segregated account for every account. So the REFCO fiasco will less likely to happen. And make sure every account is insured, again so REFCO will likely to happen again.

Re: MA Hall of Fame - The Power of Simplicity
Been testing this using H1 with all the majors. Use SMA 5 and LWM55. I usually wait for the SMA to cross either above or below LWM55. If it crossed about the LWM55 and the candle is still in close to the cross, I buy, and vice versa. However, if it's well above the cross, I wait for it to retrench to the SMA 5 and proceed to either buy or sell. Of course, don't use it when there is a major news coming out.
Is there a MA cross alert indicator that I can use for LWM? What I've found so far is only for EMA or SMA, none for LWM.
Also trying to figure out how to filter a flat market. So far, if used in the H1, it rarely give me false signal. But below H1, major flat market and false signal. H1 and above, this strategy will make us some cuan. Below H1, too many false signal.
As for SL and TP, I use price action and trend lines.

Re: The End of Retail Forex in USA?
I can live with 1:50, that is what I'm using right now anyway. But 1:10, I'd better have $10,000 just to transact in mini lots.

Re: What kind of system are you using?
I have found MY holy grail:
Trend Line
HH HL HL LL
Price Action
Fibonacci
Murrey Math

Re: 15 Rules of a Successful Trader
Just like to add one more, if I may:
Clean up your charts. Too many indicators will drive you crazy.
After 5 years of trading, I've come back to the basic, HH HL, HL, LL and trend lines. I've also appreciate people telling me to learn candle stick and price action.

Re: The End of Retail Forex in USA?
10:1 leverage, what a joke.

Re: The End of Retail Forex in USA?
I wouldn't move it now. It will be a while before this would be approved and enacted. Just have a backup plan handy just in case.
Already looking, but it's hard to find a company that's not an ECN that is as good as Oanda. Hopefully there is a compromise and the leverage is at 50:1.

Re: The End of Retail Forex in USA?
Hmm, I wonder if I should move my Oanda US to Oanda Sing now.
Just chatted with an Oanda rep, they can't say wether or not it will effect their operations outside of the US.

Re: What's your strategy for coping with big losses?
Oh yeah, I don't get big losses. I limit my losses to maximum 3%. Easier to recover, just need to pull a 30 pips profit to recover the loss.

Re: My Amazing Manual Saw System!
Nice first drive, made 30 pips.

Re: Darimana saya harus mulai Forex?
Kalo pilih broker local aman tidak yach?panduannya apa ?
thanks[/quote
Aman sih relatif. Aman uang hilang kabur, cukup aman.
Terlalu mahal.

Re: CitiBank Fx division now available to MT4 Traders.
I rather play with Cibitank through IB.

Re: Globalism the death of Forex trading?
Its possible but I can guarantee you it will take a long while. The whole world using one currency will be very diffclt for now. Their levels of development r not the same. It is only possible when all their levels of development becomes the same.:)>- :)>-
Agree totally

Re: Should I go for a live account?
I was thinking something smaller, maximal $50. Just get the feel of the market first. Once ur confident enough, upped the anty.

Re: The Freshmaker's Pippin Machine
Hi dr0o69 and Mentos,Do you have any special techniques to avoid choppy or ranging periods when the most losses happen?
Depending on your setting of the HA it can be the equivalent to a 3MA. So this strategy would be like trading the cross of 3MA and 32MA. I know the standard things like trading market opening hours or overlaps helps when there tends to be more volatility and less consolidation. But have you found anything really good that helps avoid the losses during choppy times?
Like bro dr0o69, I also use price action and s/r. From my experience using this strategy in GBP during european and american hours, you can grab 15 to 20 pips. I also check the 4 hours chart to make sure I don't stay too long if I'm going against it or it's already in the overbougt or oversold area, or I'll let it ride if i'm going with the 4 hours.

Re: The Freshmaker's Pippin Machine
@mentoshi buddy! nice work!
i wanna give u a little input (pls cmmiw) - you should check 'secret simple moving average' given on MT4 MA-based EA and applied it on this method. it works well for me. simpe moving average is just awesome \m/
owh yeah, i also use no stochastic - i use just a bit candlestick knowledge. 8-)
Do you have a link to the indicator?

Re: Should I go for a live account?
Start small and be ready to blow that account.

So, I've tried tons of strategies . . ., my indicators in MT4 probably have cloesd to 1GB worth of file =)) =)) =))
You know what, I've gone back to basic. No nonsense, simple indicators that you have in MT4.
This works well with GBP in the 15 minutes time frame
What you need:
EMA 32
Stochastic 7.3.3
Heiken Ashi
Plus your favorite Pivot/Support Resistance indicator
Rules are simple:
#1 If market is moving above EMA 32, you look for a buy. Market moving below 32, you look for a sell.
#2 Once you identified if you are looking for a buy or a sell, you check your stochatic. If it cross for a sell, and market moving below 32, you sell and vice versa.
#3 With EMA 32 and stochastic confirming, you wait for the candle to end and the corresponding Heiken Ashi give you the signal. In another word, market is moving above EMA 32, stochastic is already at oversold and have crossed up plus the Heiken Ashi became white, that is your sign to buy.
#4 Target liquid, that's where your pivot/support resistance indicator comes in. I usually go for the next level. Your risk mgt, that is up to you.
