middx58 reacted to FerruFx in New FFx standard indicators
Hello to all members,
Here is my new creation: FFx Standard Indicators.
Not sure if these tools will be of great interest ... but at least they are here for everyone want to use them.
The purpose of these new versions of all standard indicators provided in your platform is to display in a sub-window multiple timeframes of the same indicator.
But the display isn’t like a simple MTF indicator. This is the real display of the indicator on its timeframe.
http://www.ervent.net/images/ffx_indicators.gif
Here are the options available in each FFx indicator:
- Select the timeframes to be displayed (M1 to Monthly)
- Define the width (number of bars) for each timeframe box
- Alert pop up/sound/email/push
- Activate/deactivate the alert directly on the chart
- Modify all the colors
- ... and of course all usual settings of the standard indicator
Alert triggers:
Moving Averages: price crosses MA and/or two MAs cross
MACD: histogram crosses signal line and/or histogram crosses 0 line
Stochastic: stoch crosses signal and/or stoch crosses in/out OBOS zones
RSI: RSI crosses in/out OBOS zones
CCI: CCI crosses defined level and/or CCI cross 0 line
Average True Range: ATR reverses
ADX: ADX, +DI/-DI crosses defined level and/or +DI crosses –DI
WPR: WPR crosses in/out OBOS zones
Momentum: momentum reverses
Parabolic SAR: PSAR reverses
Fractals: fractals reverses
Envelopes: price crosses upper/lower bands
Bollinger Bands: price crosses middle band and/or upper/lower bands
Standard Deviation: standard deviation reverses
Ichimoku Kinko Hyo: price crosses cloud and/or Tenkan crosses Kijun
OsMA: histogram crosses 0 line
DeMarker: DeMarker crosses in/out OBOS zones
Bulls Power: histogram crosses 0 line
Bears Power: histogram crosses 0 line
Awesome Oscillator: AO reverses (color change) and/or 0 line cross
Accelerator Oscillator: AC reverses (color change) and/or 0 line cross
RVI: RVI crosses signal and/or RVI crosses 0 line
Force Index: FI crosses 0 line
Money Flow Index: MFI crosses in/out OBOS zones
Volumes: volume reverses (color change)
On Balance Volume: OBV reverses
How to set alert:
In the parameters pop up: select the alert you want and the alert mode (pop up and/or sound and/or email and/or push notification)
http://www.ervent.net/images/FFx_alert_popup.gif
Then On chart: select the bell icon (double click) then drag and drop it anywhere. At the very next incoming tick, it will retrieve its original position but with a different color signaling that it changed its status. Red to Green means it is now activated … Green to Red means that it is now deactivated.

=============
Nothing really new here. If I am not mistaken, Mladen did something similar few years ago for some customs indicators but for different pairs not for timeframes. I am not 100% sure ...
I am not a big fan of indicators but this was an old work in progress which I wanted to finish and share ... So here you go! All FFx indicators + .pdf attached here: http://www.ervent.net/files/FFx_Standard_Indicators.zip

For those who keep asking for edu EA, there is nothing there to educate. It is a signal sent from a server to the client's computer or VPS in this format:
http://i162.photobucket.com/albums/t269/julianblo/entropysignalclient.gif
There are facilities (indicators) that users designed to paste the signals from Excel to MT4 charts to help traders enter a trade, set SL and TP. That is what you see in those charts posted by CJ. The indicator has no value to you if you are not getting the signal service.
How are the signals generated? Read this.
"Using a broker currency price feed, Entropy calculates and resolves what are referred to as “TSZ’s”, or “Turn Signal Zones” which are price zones that high probability of seeing a reversal. These TSZ’s essentially allow an opportunity for Swing Trading which is a lucrative and very profitable way to trade. Entropy also determines the associated Stop and Takeprofit levels that should be utilized should a trade be taken.
The really powerful aspect of Entropy is that it isn’t based on indicators or any of the other traditional trading tools used to determine trade signals which are typically reactive and based on historical price activity and not only that….they’re late in signaling a trade opportunity. Entropy identifies reversal zones anywhere from 3 -5 price bars before any other method or mechanism out there that I know of…Entropy uses predictive, probabilistic mathematical algorithms to identify turning points in buying and selling activity within the boundaries of the current “Supply and Demand” model for the given instrument being traded, whether it’s a stock, a currency pair, or any other tradeable instrument."
For all currency pairs, there are TSZ in different time frames (M5-D1) and with different rankings in strength (or "probability" if you will). Signals are best used along side with divergence indicators (my own observations).
There are more than 1000 members in this FXAW community. Either they are all s-t-u-p-i-d or you are missing something. I see no "scam" in this system. Case closed.

I decided a few days ago, to test this service: Entropy.
Who is behind Entropy?
A nice guy named Bluto whose real name is Craig.
If you are looking Bluto, you will see that he was a contributor on many forums and for several years. He has donated many indicators and EAs.
Bluto was (and still is) widely respected in the small world of forex.
A few years ago, he wanted to restrict his research with only a small group because as you can see yourself, public forums unfortunately end up leaving in all directions!
Craig then founded his private group: FXAW.
I remember that I had at the time received the invitation to join FXAW (the entrance fee was about $ 150) I have not taken advantage of the opportunity, perhaps I was too novice. Too bad!
Therefore, finding in this thread, Bluto's name, I finally decided to try its services, and I thank CJ for responding in this thread.
You know my views on most crooks-gurus-marketers I have often denounced.
For me, what makes (made?!), the biggest interest of Indo-Investasi is to "try" free all methods and applications, and to pay their authors, for "original works" that bring real added value.
Unable to try it for free, I decided to dive (knowing the reputation of Bluto) and I'm not disappointed.
By joining FXAW for a relatively small amount (<$ 300) you join a living community, focused on "tools" provided by Bluto.
Besides all the indicators and EAs (not tried), you have access "to the search engine" Entropy.
What is Entropy?
in · tro · py (ntr-p)
no. pl. in · tro · pies
1. Symbol S For a closed thermodynamic system, a quantitative measure of the Amount of thermal energy not available to do work.
2. A measure of the disorder or randomness in a closed system.
3. A measure of the loss of information in a message Transmitted.
4. The Tendency for all matter and energy in the universe to evolve Toward a state of inert uniformity.
5. Inevitable and steady deterioration of a system or society.
I think we should take the # 2 definition to understand the intentions of Bluto.
Is it a panacea, the Holy Grail?
Of course not, you must still use your brain, but it is a great help to scan the market.
It is a continuous stream of signals.
We must learn to use them, but the site has many members who test and give you their discoveries, you are not alone.
When I see the avalanche of "EAs" for $ 97, offers of signals between $ 99 and $ 600 per month or the "gurus" who offer their expertise with words of "cook" for a whopping + $ 5,000, I think Craig's offer is a bargain.
You are a life member, so you have access to all developments, present and future.
This is obviously only my opinion, and I have no compensation to write my comments.
you are free to throw them!
Good day to all.

Benny,
Here is the EA that you can use with the BB closing stripped out. I have renamed it Script_Controller_EA. I have created a "new" EA as the logistics of removing all the BB logic and still keeping the original EA funtioning would have been too complex.
There are 5 files.....
1.....The new Script_Controller_EA
2.....The Bol_TP_Include files, which uses common functions. Replace your orginal include file with this one, as there have been changes.
3.....Buy Scipt
4.....Sell Script
5.....Slightly modified original Bol_TP_v4_Enhanced EA. This has been slightly modified to be compatible with the changes to the include file.
I have not tested this extensively, so I expect some bugs. Please report them here as usual.
K.

middx58,
The whole discussion is about the cross of
EMA-5 Close with EMA-5 Open.
You can experiment with whatever periods and modes you like.
If you find better combinations, please post your findings.

Hi guys,
Ok, I have to confess that I have been vegitating for the last 10 days since my course finished, so I have been neglecting the commitements that I have made here. I am slowly getting back into my coding frame of mind and I hope to release an update in the next week.
The first update will be some simple ones like the ability to change % lots to be closed at middle BB and I will also be removing some of the features that are proving to be problematic like the preventing of the EA running if there is already another chart of the same timeframe and instrument running. I have come to the conclusion that there is no problem running 2 of the same charts at the same time but with the code as it is causes endless problems if your platform gets closed in a non-standard way eg computer or platform crash.
Sparky, you have made several suggestions, some of which I will be taking into consideration. I already have much of the code for the various reversal patterns and will slowly start working them into the dashboard.
In the meantime Benny, perhaps you could bring me up to speed on what the latest is with your system and have there been any developments in what should appear in the dashboard.
