Kudos to james_phuc28 for going the extra mile with CaliberFxPro. Those looking for shortcuts by jumping into back-tests will only get disappointed. The logic is quite sound, but the only thing that is certain in the market is uncertainty.

 

To appreciate the Robot, first decompile and read through along side the manual, make all possible observation and u'll understand what james_phuc28 did.

 

IMHO, i think caliberfxpro is worth working on, cos if such a concept with sound money management and capital preservation does not make money, then i wonder what EA so far will.

positions in this account with 4 figure losses on gbpaud and usdcad ,first five on top in open have nothing to do with this ea's demo trading.

 

|t's in the instruction manual that Pairs to trade are EURUSD, GBPUSD and USDJPY only. Ur statement is not comprehensive enough, gud effort though.

Update:

 

I'm not looking to over leverage the account in a ALL or Nothing sort of manner.. Knowing the nature of the 2 EAs i'm using i'm fully confident that the settings applied are reasonable, that and the nature of EURCHF.

 

Keep in mind major news releases and anything that could have a negative effect on the pairs is paid attention to.

i kind of agree with "thesecret". Be careful and watchful of EURCHF, as bucket-shop brokers may have noticed the drift of scalping robots from EURGBP to EURCHF and may start their manipulations like delayed/invalid price feeds, freezing servers, requotes ...etc to kill their profitability....... :)

just a few indicators like MACD will be enough for clear view of the market, getting many complicated indicators will not guaranty success on the long run. I stick with naked trading.

it will only work if it suits the traders' personality. All most all plain trend and S/R trading systems are cool, what makes it profitable is the trader in question. Study alot of vriants and map out ur own plan.

 

I once went deep into S/R and pivot point trading (though without much of trend trading) and left for some time to test robots since i have a student life to live. I got realy disapointed with EAs and i've set out plans to resharpen my skills in simple methods of trading once i have the time to.

 

KISS is always going to be the way out. trust me on that.
