Well yes.... I have been trading for 6-7 years. and I am.................... still not profitable :(
But its a fun hobby. And.. I'm improving all the time. Money management has been my downfall time and time again. And not using a stop when my system dictates it.. DAMN YOU GREED!
Really?!, well it's not really a good news for a beginner as i am to know that, but in the other hand, it's good if you find it as a fun hobby.
I do hope you'll find better strategies, and then meet success in it.
Why not trying to follow Fxgeekstar's suggestions?

You should trade with demo account if you were still a beginner and go live account step-by-step (micro, mini, VIP...)
Demo is very good for studying and applying any strategy or knowledge you learn (unreal money) and live account that you have to try to keep any cent you got and earn and earn a lot of profit as you can.
Learning with demo is very important before facing real experience in a live account.

I think its really hard for me to know any best broker, because as trader we can not try all the brokers out there. Imagine that if there is thousands of brokers, and you are going to try all thousands broker? What a lump. But for me, we can find one broker that works for us and stick to it. As long as that broker doesn't offer a very attractive offer that can end up stealing your money.
I totally agree, it is hard for me to say which is the best one, may be we can take some suggestions and find out which one fits you but not all of them, because it sounds impossible.
