  1. The post nails the core habits you’re going to need, especially the demo-first route and picking a regulated broker. I’d add that once you move to live funds, treat every trade like it’s part of a funded test, where consistency beats big wins. I’ve personally found the evaluation structure at topstep trading useful for building that kind of discipline without risking my own cash. Stick to small position sizes and always know your exit before entering.
  2. I’d start small and slow, testing every strategy on a demo first. Getting a regulated broker is non-negotiable for me, and I’d never risk money I can’t afford to lose.
  3. I joined a few demo trading contests just to test different platforms, and honestly it helped me learn quicker without pressure. While I'm focusing more on crypto these days, I keep wondering should I use axiom trade for solana trading since I'm already kind of used to their layout from those practice rounds. Would be cool to know if anyone's tried trading Solana there and how smooth it runs.
  4. I joined a few contests just for fun and ended up learning a lot faster than demo trading. The pressure kinda pushed me to stick to rules and manage risk better.
