@johnnyblazing - That version doesn't install correctly it gets stuck on registering COM servers and after giving an error for registration it simply rollbacks back the installation. Any ideas on what can I do to block that rollback?

Did you try uninstalling and then deleting the folder where it was installed. I believe it downloads some dll files which alters the normal behavior. There were some registry hacks published on the forum as well. Do search for them as well.

 

Editing the post. As I found the correct key which needs to be deleted:

"Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Exp lorer\CLSID\{949ECF34-5756-4b9c-9692-2decAA8b91a2}" (it contains a key value named 'Specialfolder')

 

Just delete the whole 949ECF34-5756-4b9c-9692-2decAA8b91a2 key.

Then installed 6.20 first as that was my last working.

 

Then installed this beta on top. Then replaced the Broker.exe and AFLWizard.

 

You might have not edited the hosts file before running it for the first time. Uninstall the app and delete the root folder where it was installed. Double check your hosts file as instructed. Re-install the app and it should work.

 

Here's my step by step.

 

1. Changed the hosts file. See the attached text file. Edit: It seems I cannot use the attachments feature just yet. (uploaded here: https://workupload.com/file/vf3BZcJcYLP)

2. Installed AmiBroker6351.exe

3. Replaced the exe from amibroker-6.35.1-32-bit-crack

4. Run the broker.exe and that tries to open the lic.amibroker.com link.

 

I really don't know what am I doing wrong.

you can use the crack of an earlier cracked version that you have and install the last one as upgrade installation.

but the crack is useless if you didn't Block in the firewall as the program tries to call home.to do that use your antivirus or edit host file:

 

C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts file

This file should have the following lines

 

127.0.0.1 http://www.amibroker.com

127.0.0.1 amibroker.com

127.0.0.1 http://www.amibroker.pl

127.0.0.1 amibroker.pl

127.0.0.1 http://www.amibroker.net

If you are getting any License Error:

 

1- Run "regedit" and delete the below registry:

 

Value "ModernViewStatePersist" in "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced"

 

Value "ModernViewStatePersistent" in "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced"

 

2-fix "Brokey.dll" manually and to do that use any hexadecimal editor.

3- Go to Data at offset 4360 and observe this text that start with R >> "RXXXXXX-XXXXX"

4- Then change one or more of numbers, Where X is a variable number from 0 to 9 and save it with backup to not damage your original brokey.dll

Can you guide me on what I am doing wrong? I installed the version shared by insaneike. Copied over the crack and edited the hosts file. But trying to run it just takes me to lic.amibroker.com. Then I added this url to the hosts file as well but still doesn't work. It keeps redirecting me to the url irrespective.
